Legitimately one of the BEST restaurant around Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful, staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. If you thought Lost in Rio will leave you hungry, think again. You should skip several meals before visiting this amazing restaurant. Everything is so tasty, you cannot restraint yourself from having all of the dishes. There's highchairs for babies and toddlers and definitely something for children to nibble on I ordered none alcohol cocktail and its legitimately the best I have ever had. Definitely coming back soon😁

me and my partner visited first time for lunch,the table is clean ,well presented and the menus are of good quality! The restaurant looked clean and tidy and so did the kitchen! the food was absolutely amazing! Beautifully cooked meats brought out and cut in front of you and a very well stocked fresh salad bar with cheese, homemade potato brazilan salad (was super yummy),pickles and Brazilian stew etc a real selection of tasty food.. Miguel was very polite,well presented and nothing was to much trouble for him if we required anything.. we wil be back soon to try the evening menu! 😀

TL;DR: -Fast and Excellent Service -Flavorful and Delicious Food (Even the buffet bar) -Reasonable Price (~£30 with drinks). I first noticed this place by driving past in my car. As I have never experienced an Brazilian steak house before, I decided to go and have lunch there on the 5th of March. The lunch hours were rather quiet, however someone greeted me as I walked through the glass doors and I was shown to a table, where he explained how the process works. You flip a card to indicate that you're ready for the meats and there is a buffet like table where your can have your selection of cold meats, stews, snacks and side dishes. The service was excellent and fast, and the managers are quick to pick up on when people needed service and sent wait staff to serve tables. The food was incredible, even the ones at the buffet table. Every dish was packed full of flavour, spices and herbs, one favourite of mine was the garlic mushrooms. I was genuinely surprised at the quality and flavour of the food that was at the buffet bar, which I initially considered to a side-show. When the waiter finally arrived at the table with the main event: large, dripping cuts of meat, I gave every meat dish on the lunch menu a try. The highlight for me is the gammon/pork, which tasted of honey, and roasted to perfection, closely followed by the chicken thighs, Brazilian sausages, lamb and the rump steak selections. Although most of the meat was delicious, the beef dishes does fall behind the others, and can be slightly tough and not as tender as the other meats. I ended my meal with slices of roasted pineapple, slightly seared at where it's natural sugars caramelised into what would be a healthy alternative to conventional desserts. It was an all round great experience, and I would highly recommend this establishment, but it can set you back around £30 per person if you get a few drinks along with the meal. If you can deal with the thirst though, £20 is a absolute steal for the amount of meat and food the you can reasonably eat.

Visited tonight for the 1st time. I'll definitely be back! The staff were great from the moment we arrived, we had plenty of time to read through the drinks and cocktails menu before deciding. The salad bar was brilliant, with lots to choose from. Once the selection of meats started to be served I kept changing my mind regarding what was my favourite, genuinely couldn't pick one? Recently went here for the first time after visiting many similar places in other parts of England. Overall left a little disappointed with the experience. Firstly I must clearly say that the staff there are very attentive and helpful, frequently attending the table and cheerful in interactions. When we got to the restaurant no one was at the front desk or bar leaving us thinking it was closed. After a few minutes a staff member appeared from out the back. Our table we were shown to had very bright lighting but nice decorations and wall art etc. The restaurant had a good selection of buffet food but could do with a wider cover over the top as all the foods were open, meaning anyone passing coughing etc would get onto the food. Great choice though of salads and snacks on offer. Of the meats we had some of them were very flavourful and tasty such as the chicken thigh, Brazilian sausage and one of the beef dishes. Of 80% of the meats however they could do with more flavour, the beef being similar to Sunday roast meat than a Brazilian type seasoning. I was also a bit disappointed with the Red/Green colour system they used at the tables (for those who don't know you have green if you are ready for more and red means hang on just eating or a bit full). On a good 4 occasions we had the card as red meaning give us a few minutes but kept getting meat brought over, not a massive issue but defeats the object and did leave us feeling a bit rushed, especially when restaurant at that time was less than 20% full. Other bit of feedback is ambience could be a little better with the light a bit more dim and maybe louder background music or a candle at the table but that's just personal preference. Don't think we will be returning as feels over priced for what it is as £32 each. Staff themself can't be faulted as they are very attentive, polite and helpful.

Service was quick and the food was delicious, I particularly liked the chilli steak, garlic steak and lamb. The salad bar is well stocked with excellent variety. Went for my daughters 50th birthday on Saturday. Well what a fantastic experience. The staff attended to our every need so friendly and the food is absolutely brilliant and so much of it. Meats cooked to your taste. There was a singer/guitarist on Saturday and he was so so good. No complaints anywhere.

Food is fantastic. Great selection of meat. I think table placement could be thought about a bit more. People down the far end of the table had to be passed down their food as the servers couldn't reach down one end of the table. So tables could do with being adjusted so waiters can get to everyone.

Got bit Lost in Plymouth trying to find Lost in Rio...! BUT it was worth it when we got there. Not overly busy for a Saturday lunchtime which meant we could linger and enjoy the delicious food on offer. The meat was amazing and just kept coming! The sides all seemed very fresh and well matched to the meat on offer. Generally friendly staff who were helpful. Good value for money. The only thing that let it all down for us was the lack of parking - very little in the area so you'll need to be prepared to walk off your meal afterwards!

We had to drive from Torquay to Plymouth just to have a Brazilian Rodizio because I was quite sure would be a great experience and the food would be for sure satisfying. But we didn't have a good experience with the food at Lost in Rios . The staff was really friendly, the decoration was nice, and the environment was ok but the meat was far away from what is a really rodizio . To much cooked the picanha, the maminha, and the Alcatra was tasted like were not fresh and that is not ok. The Rice was not cooked properly as well. Unfortunately, I couldn't let this pass unknown because, for the price of £33 Dinner for each person plus a drink , the Owner must invest in his Kitchen and make sure unless the food is worth the customer's money. Better less lights inside and more happy customers around. We do not recommend it unless the food served become better than we had. Anyway, i hope you can improve the food quality . Boa sorte

Me and my friend when for a meal here. The staff were friendly and Premises was very clean, great choose of food from the buffet. The meat that was served was excellent and top quality. The meat came out at a steady rate which was nice. Some places fetch it out to quickly... The cocktails were excellent you could see all the staff had a passion for what they were doing. Price was good £33 per head for a 1 hour 45 minutes. Of great food.. I will be going again.

Omg wow. To start the lady front of house was amazing and so joyful. The food was absolutely amazing throughout. Majority of the meat came out like butter and so delicious. Have been wanting to try Lost In Rio for a few weeks now as have heard such good things and it did not disappoint last night. Buffet was fab, lots of options, meat was lovely and you didn't have to wait long at all. The owner came over and introduced himself which I love in restaurant, and even apologised for staff shortages but we wouldn't have even known. Brazilian style family restaurant with friendly staff and a great selection of meats. For a set price you get a salad bar with hot and cold selections to choose from. Then flip your beer mat to green and the staff will appear with a rotation of the 15 different meat selections. When you want a break...flip to red. The meats were all good. There could have been more chicken possibly but minor gripe. Would recommend.

The food is amazing, everything is really well seasoned and cooked perfectly. There's a good variety to the side dishes but the meat is the star of the show without a doubt! We visited here as a walk-in and was provided a table very quickly. We took advantage of the happy hour cocktails 2for1 (mojitos and caipirinhas) these were very good. We had the buffet menu option and was not disappointed. Lots of variety, well cooked and well spaced. You have to remember this type of meal is paced and thing move slow. Staff were great explaining questions and were pleased to help. Overall will be going back again when back in town again in the future.

We went 1st time today 5th march 2022 to try the dinner menu, the staff were really friendly and easy to talk too, drinks were brought to use very fast and the owner made us feel very welcome. Not far off space prices in Ibiza.
