Very tasty food and friendly people, a bit of confusion while ordering so double check when ordering and it's cash only so - take cash with you. It's more of a take-away kind of a place, there are seats but they are not restaurant type seats, the food is very good though.

Amazing!! Best food in town for who s not vegetarian. The lamb soup they bring you as soona s you seat has been an epiphany. Really amazing and great value for money. Try the shish kebab. The naan too that s baked in a tandoor oven is really delicious.

Delicious succulent halal Turkish grilled cuisine. Had the mixed grills which were very tasty and good portion, although the red meat could have been cooked a little longer as still had some blood in it. Very tasty naan bread. Courteous employees and the uncle who served us.

Best kebab restaurant in the city. Always reliable taste and very friendly and kind staff. Very authentic dishes all cooked on charcoal grill. Usually dishes come with soup and naan bread that really taste lovely and filling. Every menu are really reasonably priced. I am amazed by the quality every time I visit them. Highly recommended!

I wish I could post the photos along with the food. It's khurdish restaurant. I tried kabab sandwich ( lamb naan roll). It's really good. Only thing is you have to eat it while it's warm. Not recommended to reheat it or eat after a while. I will try the lamb biryani soon.

The most amazing food you ever will put in your mouth. [Edit] Google just asked me if Nawroz had changed since I last reviewed it. Yeah its only got better! With just two days notice, you can now order a fully prepared whole sheep!? Plus the foods still awesome!

NOW THEY TAKE CARDS !!!! 👏👏👏👏 Love this little place. I often get nanbread here(which is made fresh! The only place in Plymouth that does that as far as I know). The only issue I have is that the place looks ran down. I use to help with business development in several restaurants and takeaways, and it is a picture I saw often. The tables are too crammed and they saw better day. Room is loud and dark. Till area could do with some work. I think with some investment this place could expand market massively and even franchise! They have good food, good hygiene, simple menue, fab staff, just needs some TLC to bring it out of 1995 into today:)

This place is the hidden gem of Plymouth, I've been going here for years and would say it's one of the best places to have Middle Eastern food in the South West. Food is amazing, from the soup you get as a complimentry starter to the breads (breads are ridiculously good). Love this place, long may they continue in the city

I simply love it. I used to go when I lived in Plymouth and now that I have come back for a couple of days, i couldn't have missed it! Cheap and best quality ever, amazing food. Just try it for yourself. The chicken kebab is one of the best and it is just £3.5. Bread is homemade, lamb soup is made for several hours with love (and I think it costs just 50p???).These are just some examples of what to find, seriously try anything for yourself! :)

Most large European towns have one middle-eastern restaurant that people who know and love the cuisine, will frequent, and dozens more that serve kebabs with chips to the inebriated. Nawroz is the first kind. Genuinely great food in a warm, friendly atmosphere. In a world gone crazy, I love that Nawroz and places like it exist to bridge cultural divides and bring the middle-east and west together to enjoy the simplest human experience of eating good food amongst good people.
