top meal, was there to celebrate an 18th birthday the chef and waitresses coped well with the amount of guests, portions were American an cooked to perfection

Great place for a night out. Went to hear the band Complete Madness who were excellent. It was disabled friendly and the meal we had beforehand was excellent. All in all it was a fantastic night.

Had a very nice Steak lunch and a couple beers. Background music was a bit more than back ground and was too loud (nightclub loud)to be able to chat across the table. It was a public holiday so maybe not like this all the time. Extremely busy at the bar but you get served in a timely manner, From what I saw all the staff in this establishment work extremely hard and are very efficient at what they do and in my opinion you're made to feel welcome. Reduce the music decibels a little bit and the dining experience would be great. Would definitely eat here again and hopefully the music will be at a level where you can converse across the table while enjoying your meal.

A little bit lacking in frequency of drink order taking but it was very clean. There seemed to be plenty of staff so maybe it was just a bit busy. (Edit: they only had one card machine between all the servers so understandable) The food was really nice and arrived at the table quickly once it has been ordered. The bouncer was very kind and accomodating to my disability and through the night made sure everybody stuck to covid rules like wearing a mask when up and making sure people were not being too rowdy and raised voice Overall it was a very enjoyable night and it was a very clean place handled by professional staff (Edit) I lost my phone at the end of the evening and Nicki said that she would let me know if she found it, she did! and my girlfriend picked it up the next day and Nicki wouldn't take my tip even though I insisted and said that she would rather I came there again. Banging night out. Live music from The vibes definitely worth watching a live band in there just big enough for a good sound and crowd. Been a long time since we've seen a live band which rekindled our love for live music, cheers.

An instant 4 stars just for allowing dogs, this is then raised to a 5 star for being a great overall place. Strolling in with our dog, we felt very welcomed by a broad bouncer. We were then seen to our table by a wonderful waitress, who then offered our dog some water. Examining the menu I saw they had plenty of offers for different days but in the end I went for the scampi and chips which took my fancy. My wife went for the steak and chips both coming with a salad. On top of this we ordered 4 cocktails for £12 which my wife said was a "banging deal". The food arrived not long later looking scrumptious and it tasted scrumptious as well. My wife downed the 4 cocktails as I was driving, but I did treat myself to a cheeky pint of apple juice. Safe to say my wife was very drunk. On the whole, this place had some great food which mixed well with the funky entertainment.

Visited today with a friend for lunch and was taken back by how welcoming, organised and clean it is. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful beer garden upstairs. The food is amazing, cooked perfectly and appealing to the eye. I could not recommend Stoke Bar & Grill enough. Was told it now delivers it's amazing food on Deliveroo too! Bonus!! Try it, I promise you won't regret.

Having been for a carvery a week previously and commenting how it was probably the best I'd eaten in Plymouth, I was really looking forward to taking the family. However, having phoned up and booked a table for 6 adults and 3 kids and clearly mentioning that I needed high chairs, I was disappointed to arrive and be shown to a table for 6 and only have 5 chairs and no high chairs available. Gutted as all were looking forward to a meal but we had to leave as we felt we were on top of everybody else and couldn't have fed the kids. I would thoroughly recommend based on the previous visit but I've learnt my lesson now. Book 2 weeks in advance!!

Popped in to try the Wednesday Steak nite promotion, very glad I did £20 for 2 sirloin steaks, result! Steaks were perfectly cooked, food was piping hot & very tasty. Service was great & drinks not overpriced would recommend it to anyone. Will be back.

Only the second time of using them. They really need to work on there customer skills. I was stood there for a good five minutes before any of the staff even acknowledged my presence. They were busy doing just eat orders. They could have just said "sorry to keep you" still won't be going there again and would not recommend them the food was average

My daughter ordered a roast for us to be delivered to 3 different houses. Some were delivered in foil cartons others in a cardboard type material. Put the carton in the microwave for 3 minutes. Other in foil went into the oven to reheat. For a regular roast, it was plenty big enough. Meat had no fat on it and very tender. Would buy again. Thank you.

It's a nice layed out pub with free pool, seating up stairs, the beer garden has a bbq and big TV, the landlady is brilliant her humour is amazing such a great women, why the rate is 3 cause we ordered a breakfast it took nearly and hour as the lady doing it was talking all the time and not considerating on it, and when it did arrive it looked like she stood on the counter and dropped it on the plate and it was cold, but it is a nice pub
