Nice sea food! We ordered fresh oysters and scallop. We walk in at 3:30pm, I think you can't walk in at dinner time, please make sure your have reservation.

Absolutely brilliant food, wine and service. Could not have asked for a better brunch. We shared scallop ceviche, oysters and half a lobster (which ended up a full lobster!)
I can’t express just how beautiful the food was. The lobster was fully prepared, and expertly so. Will not hesitate to return again. Fabulous place!

Make sure you book, - limited seating, very popular! Simple menu, fresh seafood, what's more to want? Casual dining with excellent food. Look forward to visiting again.

Excellent quality seafood, with interesting dishes. The oysters were amazing and the risotto a must try! The restaurant is small so booking in advance is recommended.

A small bright fish bar/monger with some really lovely fresh seafood and creative dishes. After trying the produce, you can buy some to take home. Top quality and very tasty.

Fabulous seafood discovery!
Luck to have bagged a walk-in too, we enjoyed beautifully plump oysters which were superb, and the crab/poppadom small plate is a must try!
P. K.
Amazing intimate sea food restaurant. Some of the best sea food I’ve ever had. Delicious. Highly recommended.

Fresh, Modern and Brilliant. This place really knows what it is doing!
Myself and my girlfriend went on a fishing trip on the Tamar and Plymouth Sound, and were looking for somewhere to cook our catch - we accidentally stumbled on a gem!
TOFM offered to cook our catch and we chose a couple of starters off the menu, which were absolutely incredible.
Can't recommend more! Take a look at these pics!

Great little restaurant, we were lucky to get a table as walk-in! Id recommend booking. We had a selection of small plates and they were all delicious, especially recommend the monk fish and ceviche!! Great margaritas & Fantastic service!!

Came for lunch with local friends. The meal was outstanding and the service (including from the chef/co-owner) was really gracious and friendly. The lobster risotto was out of this world, the “crab curry bombs” a cool surprise and the SoulDog (fish hot dog) amazing. Wife loved the Mac n cheese too. Brilliant meal in a simple setting. Can’t recommend enough.

Food is very well executed, professionally cooked seafood to a high standard. I was rather disappointed though, when I ordered a half lobster along with some scallops as a main dish. The lobster came out with only half of one of the claws, I questioned this with the waitress who told me “we do this so it’s easier to eat.”
I suspect the rest of it went in to the lobster rolls on the table next to us! I expect to get what I pay for hence 4 stars. Otherwise excellent

A real gem - somewhere you can grab some excellently prepared/cooked dishes made with super fresh, quality seafood which they sell right there on the fish counter. We tried the fresh oysters, scallop ceviche, curried crab bombs, and “souldog” (breaded sole fillets in a brioche bun), and you can enjoy a nice cold glass of white wine with it all - perfect!

Amazing seafood in an intimate setting. All the small plates we had were fantastic and the wine selection was spot on for the food. Service was professional and quick, no complaints. Minor criticism is of the bar stools which we found to be awkward to sit on and uncomfortable. 4 legged static stools with back support would be more to our preference.

Now then, just look at the pics, no words 2 say, absolutely beautiful dishes, fresh n top tastes, highly recommends.

Very small restaurant with intimate setting. Food was good.
Although our experience was let down by the poor service...ordered tap water but never arrived until the waitress was reminded again in 20 minutes, no one asked us how our food was and the first waitress showed a clear lack of interest in service. Definitely not what I expect for such a highly rated restaurant, particularly given there were only two tables!
H. M.
Incredible food, and the best cocktails in Plymouth! Catch of the day, lobster, and the Martini’s are our recommendations!
R. G.
Best seafood I've had for a long time! Small plates were great, haddock arancini, king prawns, lobster roll, monkfish etc - all amazing. Venue is small but perfect, great service and the owner (assuming he was the owner) was great with the kids, showing them live crabs and lobsters. 10/10!

Good food cooked and presented well. Nice setting. Waiter who served us was unfriendly, disinterested, uninformative and arrogant. Really dissapointed with this particular man's attitude as other than this my meal was fabulous. Was going to order more food but didn't want to stay 😕

This is a nice place, small and intimate. The high stools were a big issue for me due to mobility (there is normal seating outside) but the lovely waitress put my stool down low for me and provided another for my feet. We had smoked makeral aranchini, monkfish, oysters and crayfish linguini...all really delicious and cooked fresh to order. I enjoyed a tasty glass of Voignet
J. H.
Lovely little place, had catch of the day I had the Brill and my son had Lemon sole, the Lemon sole which he let me taste was supherb and we both enjoyed the samphire which we haven't tried before seared scallop was a nice addition to the main dish and lobster sauce was lush. plate to share for starters we had the butter milk monkfish which was also very nice. Hahaha had a laugh getting on the chairs as I a short arse and have problems with my motility but it was ok in the end..staff were friendly and it was a great service. If you like fresh sea food I would defo recommend.

What a delight. Service and food absolutely exceptional. Oysters wonderful with crab bombs that are a delight. Well recommended little gem of a restaurant.

Wanting to go for a while so booked up for lunch. Great fish cookery with a glass or two of Sardinian white.
Not cheap but very good value and delicious.

Recommended this place by the barmen at the nearby Plymouth Gin distillery. Lovely oysters and the best seafood linguine I have ever had. Small and perfectly formed place.

Wonderful food!
Awful tables, much too high!
Very nice proprietor
Seats uncomfortable to use the high tables
No wheelchair Access,
No disabled toilet
Sadly I cannot revisit due to lack of disabled facilities

Really nice food (we tried most of the small plates) that's very fresh, lovely little spot that's well worth a visit if you like fish!

I visited Plymouth a couple of months ago and tried oysters for the first time in another restaurant and was less than impressed. I came here after and wow!! Absolutely changed my mind!!! Soooo fresh, so tasty and such gorgeous presentation. Will definitely swing by for a few more next time I'm around.

Excellent! Every dish we had (pickled cockles, scallop ceviche, grilled scallops, crab Mac and cheese, and crab bombs) was well balanced and showed off the ingredients. And very helpful/friendly staff.
PS - today was a restaurant not a fishmonger.
B. G.
Freshest fish beautifully cooked but venue a.bit soulless.
R. S.
Delicious food, very nice staff. Very strongly recommend it!
D. H.
A hidden gem! We had lunch consisting of a starter to share and a main course each. The portion sizes were more than sufficient and the taste, well, it was like nothing I've tasted before. To start we had Scallops in Garlic Butter sauce. The Scallops were big and very tasty, very well cooked and looked great too.
For main, we had the Lobster and Chilli Rissotto and Bream with new potatoes and roasted vegetables. Again, both dishes were cooked to perfection, we're we presented and the tastes were incredible! The meals were delicious and portion sizes were both generous and also not too much to be uncomfortable after. Add to this the fact that the resteraunt also doubles as a fish mongers too, its a perfect combination. The Chef(s) were very happy to talk and discuss anything from previous catering experiences and giving advice regarding the prepping and cooking of the fish yourself. This place will really take off and can already be considered as an asset the Plymouth's Barbican.
K. S.
The best restaurant in Plymouth. The staff are amazing and the food is delicious. I'll definitely be back again

I got some tiger prawns here to take back to London and the care that went into ensuring they would last my 3 hour journey home was second to none! A real nice and chilled environment, great customer service and the freshest seafood I've ever had! Would highly recommend x

Care only 2 main tables (on high chairs) - other seating available - window facing - book by phone to check what seating you are getting - other than that the food is fab and so is the wine - worth a visit to say the least - and I have visited numerous seafood restaurants in the SW / Jersey and Brittany - I will be back
A. T.
So thankful to have finally been to this amazing place! The seafood is top tier and the service is so friendly, you wouldn't wanna leave! I'm glad my family and I got to spend a very memorable night here. If we could, we would eat here everyday forever!

(Translated) After eating around Italy, France and Spain, I stopped by a fish restaurant when I stayed in this beautiful English port town for personal reasons. Looking only at the entrance, it's an ordinary casual restaurant that seems to be everywhere. However, the taste is so authentic that you can't even find such a delicious restaurant in Southern Europe. From the first salad, the fresh vegetables and young tomatoes were a perfect match for the delicious olives, which raises expectations. The main is the monk fish caught that day. It's best to stew amazing fresh fish in an orange-flavored sauce. The texture of fresh fish is irresistible to Japanese people. I am very satisfied with the fresh and delicious bread that I can eat until the end. I enjoyed it very much with Prosecco. I thought the chef was French, and when I asked him, he was a pure Englishman. It seems that he worked under a famous person. Well, if you ever come to Plymouth, please drop in. a. I ate raw oysters because they were so delicious, but they are also very delicious.
