Reviews of The Waterfront
L. w. L. t. D. L.
Lovely reasonably priced food in an amazing setting. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly (and there were 1& of us)! Dog friendly. The Sunday roasts were superb x
C. H.
Was able to be accommodated on an impromptu visit without booking in the bar area. I would definitely recommend booking though as there were no bookable seats left.
Had a lovely meal with friendly staff. Service was rapid but not in an "just heated it up" way. You could tell it was fresh.
Protions were massive too and the food really tasty.
I liked that wherever possible they source the food and drinks locally too.
Would recommend and we will definitely be going back again.
M. L.
Popped in to the waterfront after work to have a few drinks outside in the sunshine. Drinks are reasonably priced £5 for a Korev.
We also decided to have some dinner which was really good. Burger and chips and chicken burger and chips both were really well cooked.
Staff were friendly and helpful and will be visiting again soon
N. C.
The position is fabulous, especially on a sunny day, plenty of outdoor seating and free parking if you are lucky, which I was...the staff are cheerful and helpful..sadly the food not so good...rather a tough lump of meat and knives too blunt to cut it..most other people seemed to be having fish and chips which looked great so possibly we should not have tried to be different.
I will go again.. for a coffee and a sandwich ...our meal was £38 for two people..food and two non alcoholic drinks.

As the Waterfront was offering a two for one 'all English breakfast' thought l would give it go. On a glorious morning, popped in with ten friends for a 'brekky'. No booking made, just walked in
Greeted with a friendly smile and quick service.
All breakfasts arrived together were all all piping hot. Great offer and value for money.
Plus a superb location on a sunny morning. Just wrap up warm if sitting outside.
Remember two for one breakfasts only take place Monday through to Thursday. Early birds, will avoid the crowd. I recommend a quick check on their website, or call them
M. D.
The location is fantastic. In all weather's, you get the sun and the view and even in a storm its great. We've been here a few times, for breakfast and coffee and few few drinks at night and for us the service has been great. Breakfast are good, as is the coffee's.
D. T.
Nice pub in a nice location. Had the pork and apple sauce sandwich. Not bad but don't think the vanilla flavour is a good thing. Would go here again. Clean tidy and professional staff. Attentive enough to earn a tip! Well done guys..
L. K.
Highly recommend this place:scrumptious food, including vegan options too, great view, fab and friendly staff- especially Leanne who was very nice, helpful, friendly, professional and so polite. We would definitely book again.
M. D.
Really nice place, food is ok. Had breakfast and lunch a few times . Friendly staff. They serve amazing coffee.
J. R.
Group for 6 for Sunday lunch. Service was excellent with very friendly and accommodating staff. We all had roast pork which was plentiful, tender and accompanied by a great selection of vegetables. Desserts were really good too. Fantastic location with its own car park. We’re looking forward to going back soon!
A. C.
Very nice place beautiful to sit outside in the summer equally comfortable inside
Great friendly staff with a great menu
p. l.
Quick friendly service and very fresh hot food. Still friendly and good service food fresh plate too small for amount but veg and Yorkshire pudding done to a turn beef just right nice and tender with a touch of rare Ness to it
P. D.
Decent pub style food at a good price. The St Austells Proper Job was kept really well, and the fish and chips was perfect. Staff were friendly and efficient and we had a great view of the water. Right commended for anyone looking for great unpretentious drinks and dining.
C. A.
I really wanted to love this place, and to start with I did. The location and views were perfect, and the staff were helpful and friendly. So far so good but unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. The battered fish was so soggy, and the kids burger was really overdone and dry like cardboard. Such a shame, maybe just an off day for food??
D. S.
Superb service from two lovely young Ladies. Very nice coffee and 🍰 Beautiful sat outside in the sun.
D. W.
Good food, comfortable surroundings, quality gin selection. Never had anything but good times here.
L. M.
Lovely place, food was good and nice and fresh. Ended up being overcharged £10 but was combination of us and staffs fault, ah well.
R. M.
This feels a little unfair but one can only review the experience one has had!! Food was really good - Sunday Roast with turkey - and a large portion size. However, we had booked and no table was ready, no cutlery at the table until after we got our meal. The feeling was one of a restuarant unable to cope with a busy Sunday, add to that staff openly talking about missed orders and poor roster management and what should have been a 5 star Sunday dinner was lovely but a bit shoddy! Hence 3 stars.
N.
Best fish and chips I have had in years. Great price and staff were very friendly. They even rang before to say that one of the dishes had sold out in case that was the reason for the visit.
7. T.
Beautiful place, friendly and professional staff,👍
B. F.
This is the third time I’ve been here and really impressed each time. Friendly staff and great food. The house salad is really a lovely healthy salad and nicely presented.
W. J.
Great pub with spectacular views over the sea. Great service with a menu to match. Some limited car parking on site. Dog friendly pub with lots of external seating.
S. W.
Great cream tea. The scones where amazing, warm very large and had the choice of plain or fruit so I had one of each...yummy ☺️☺️
D. D.
Lovely pub with social distancing measures in place, hand sanitisers to use as you enter the building and also on the tables. Friendly staff, due to the circumstances at the moment the menu has been shortened, still loads to choose from and freshly cooked, I would of taken a photo of our food but it was so tasty we ate it, not expensive and we were left alone, the waiters/waitresses didn't hover around. This is set in a nice location looking out to the small island.
G. H.
Exceptional service. Everyone is super friendly, a little pricey but what do you expect from St austell brewery? Besides their range of drinks is beautiful. The IPA is so light and fruity and its one of the rare venues that stock Rattler (my favourite) The views are absolutely stunning, sitting as close as possible to the sea feels so free.
M. W.
Beautiful place!!! That's what I can say. Staff is fast, all time smiling, all time ready to serve, no problem with customers, omg! Go there on the first trip to Plymouth. Trust me - you will not be disappointed.
D. R.
Great staff, great food, the best views and free parking if you're early! It looks like a fine selection of alcohol to but I don't partake as I'm always driving.
H. D.
Lovely. Stopped for a drink and snack whilst visiting our daughter. Staff were lovely, friendly and very professional. Felt really safe and everything cleaned down between customers.
G. D.
Really enjoyable food. Good service even though they were very busy.
G. P.
A really lovely dog friendly place. Right on the harbour, you can get some stunning sunset views from their terrace. Great selections of drinks and reasonable prices and a really lovely decor. The staff were always great and very friendly. Never tried the food, only there for drinking, however it always looked great; thoroughly recommend.
A.
Perfect location, well decorated pub, great quiz night and friendly staff. Love that rattler cider is on draught too
P. B.
Had a lovely breakfast and plenty of coffees. Service was great and they were so polite and friendly. The food was fab, friends had full English and enjoyed it, pancakes were really good too. First time I've visited and will definitely be back.
M.
Went for a lunch today and had the Ploughmans. The chips were crispy and very tasty. Sandwich was nice. A good meal. Latte was very nice.
Service was good.
What I didn't realise until I finished was there was no ham with it, like it said on menu. I should have paid attention when it was brought out. Other than that I would definitely recommend.
D. R.
Really good location overlooking the coast and right on the sea. We only had a drink here but everything looked lovely. The gentleman who met us on the door was very helpful, covid restrictions were adhered to... We will be back
D. L. (.
Popped in for a quick bite and a pint. The staff were so friendly it instantly made us feel positive and welcome. Thanks team - much appreciated! Food was really tasty, great beer and cider, fantastic views. I can't think of a single negative about this place. Thanks guys! Hopefully see you on another visit. 👍
D.
Sat next to the sea wall overlooking the sea. Great sea views and very good table service. The fish and chips are amazing. Josh C the waiter was awesome 👍🏼
B. M.
Nice pub great stout made in st Austell. Can't wait to come back and try the food
L. A.
Great spot besides the waterfront. Delighted to find St Austell stout on draught - an excellent drop.
A. K.
Delicious food with gorgeous views. An excellent place for breakfast and enjoyment.
L. K.
Delicious breakfast, well served and fresh. We sat outside, clean and comfortable areas. Bit windy today but still enjoyed the time.
N. C.
I started with a pint of Mena Dhu, a fantastic stout from St Austell brewery which was very smooth. I had a lasagne to eat which was one of the best I've ever had. The window looks directly out onto Plymouth Sound. Staff very friendly and attentive. Excellent!
W. H.
Absolutely beautiful place with amazing views. It's my first visit but certainly won't be my last.
K. T.
Really good, nice size portions of tasty food. They were fantastic with our large group for a Xmas meal, 16 adults and 4 young children. Only 4 stars as the fish main didn't mention that it would include sprouts with bacon, not so good for the pescatarian! Will definitely be visiting again!
J. K.
Really enjoyed our dinner and drinks at The Waterfront. All the staff were very friendly and the food was great. Reasonable prices and a comfortable environment
S. R.
Fantastic place to eat and drink, with really friendly staff
M. G.
What a very pleasant place, staff were charming and the food delicious 😋, we even had to bring some home.
J. G.
One of the best views in Plymouth.
Me and my Roz love it, then he has a swim on a beach close by.
Make a bar outside to speed up service drinks.
Cocktails would be a big winner with that view too!!
K. W.
Always a pleasure visiting for food and drink, great views and a lovely selection on the menu. The staff are friendly and approachable.
M. M.
Have been to this pub/restaurant a few times now and it is a real gem. Beautiful outlook over the sea at Plymouth Ho. Food is AMAZING!!!! Never been disappointed. A* service even at busy times. You can sit outside or in...weather depending of course.
M. T.
Had a good Sunday lunch here. Nice place with a great view of the Sound.
Good range of drinks too
C. M.

Drinks at reasonable prices. Great views
Recommended
R. C.
Really nice food, the staff is always friendly.
They have many tables on the terrace adjacent to the restaurant from which you can enjoy a pleasant sea view otherwise you can enjoy the sea view even from the tables inside the restaurant.
M. M.
Beautiful views and great food. Can be slightly price but on a nice day it's worth the view and to chill by the water
S. G.
Lovely place. The view was great. We had halloumi fries, seafood pasta, salmon and baked Alaska. The cider was also beautifully served. The staff were pleasent and assisted us with our little one.
Would 100% visit again.
D. M. B.
Super views - polite and friendly staff plus good food at sensible prices.
S. A.
I love this place. Beautiful food ,calm atmosphere and really friendly staff. The food here is top notch, service is fast and the price is very reasonable. Would definitely recommend to others.
S. S.
Stopped here for a pint was very busy here but the waitress still found us a seat to enjoy a pint
M. G.
Great place was very quiet when we were there but i'm told on a warm day it would be heaving and i can believe it.
K. T.
Stunning views in the sun and very good customer service.
Was was lovely and reasonably priced
I. C.
Views of Drake's Island, breakwater and harbour. Sunny seafront location with outdoor tables. Food offered, though I didn't sample the menu. Local beers and ciders as well as more national brews. The Rattler cider was very pleasant on a summers evening.
A. C.
Worth a visit even if it's just for a quick pint. A-mazing Plymouth sound & hoe for superb vistas. Beware - v. busy in summer season. The food is great & there's nowhere quite like it on a beautiful summer's day.
H.
Service was slightly slow with the one person behind the bar. Great location and lovely drinks!
A. R.
Average food (full English breakfast) sausages were hard and rubbery though.
However, saved by the lovely location and views
J. L.
A good place to come on a sunny day for lunch, which is exactly what we did. Excellent views of Plymouth Sound and the comings and goings of boats and ships.
We had fish and chips, which may not be very adventurous but the fish was perfectly cooked with very tasty batter.
C. P.
I went to Waterfront Pub this afternoon with the family and the in laws. It was the first time the in laws had been out since before March 2020! Perfect location.
I had won a competition for free coffee and cake for 4 people but they were so flexible that we had cold drinks instead and paid for all the drinks and cakes for the 6 of us!
Highly recommend the venue, cakes were amazing, outside seating had fantastic views and staff very attentive especially Sam & Jamie.
Hot food looked amazing. We will definitely be back!
S.
Good place, near the ocean!
J. W.
Nice staff .Lovely views. Sandwiches were good. Toilets very clean and good accessible toilet. There was one step up to the dining table and the staff member put a little portable ramp as I am a wheelchair user
K. H.
Great views of Plymouth Sound from the deck. Coffee and lunch were outstanding!
E. H.
Had a lovely afternoon here. Drinks were spot on. And so was the view
J. W.
Good steak with pepper sauce washed down with a pint of Proper Job ale at The Waterfront on Plymouth Hoe with fabulous views of The Sound and Free parking! What's not to like?
C. B.
Lovely day, even better when the sun came out, sitting on the terrace looking at the ships and waves.
Friendly and welcoming, clear on table booking and really good food.
M. J.
what a nice place ! Good food and friendly Service too! And a nice View!
D. O.
Fantastic cooked breakfast.Excellent quality produce and lovely atmosphere. Will come again
A. S.
Lovely food and generous portion sizes. Staff were lovely and implemented social distancing service as much as possible. The view is just stunning!
S. C.
The food was amazing, huge portions. The view was beautiful, right on the sea front. Waiting time was about 30/40 minutes which was fine as it was very busy and well worth the wait. Highly recommended if you're in the area, a friend of mine told me to go here after he has been visiting for years and had nothing but good to say about The Waterfront
J. F.
Superb view and friendly staff that were strictly adhering to Covid regulations. A shame it took an hour from placing our drinks order, to it actually being served!
A. R.
Great restaurant food is very nice and the view is even better. Best sunset 🌇
M. D.
As always, spot on, food excellent, staff first class ....
C. H.
Love their menu, inclusive to all. Always good service, I go time and time again. Date friendly, family environment too, have pram and wheel chair access. Beautiful view, indoor and outdoor seating.
D. G.
Lovely bar, great outdoor seating area
M. D.
Visited briefly on route to catch ferry and only had time for a drink on the decking. Its in a lovely situation and the food brought out to other dinners looked tasty & well presented. Staff were friendly yet professional. Would certainly return
P. E.
Very good sandwich lunch. Food arrived quickly and served very efficiently. Have previously sat outside and enjoyed the awesome view of Plymouth Sound whilst eating and enjoying a beer (or two!). Gets very busy if the sun is shining at the weekend.
A. W.
Well layed out, with helpful staff. Clean and tidy surroundings. Great views of Plymouth Sound. Meals on the expensive side.
K. V.
Beautiful food and view.
Will definitely return!
Z. G.
Good food, struggled with new Covid service rules and was but disorganised but view was great and food was yummy
M. W.
My partner and I live in Plymouth and use the waterfront on a regular basis.
We only usually drink here but we decided to eat in for a change.
It was the first of the curry nights so I ordered the chicken madras and my partner ordered the cauliflower korma.
I wasn't pleased that poppadoms were £2 extra, as were naan breads.
The curry arrived and I'm sorry to say that I've had better from an asda own brand tinned curry.
It was thin and watery and the chicken was like road kill the rice was also cold.
The naan was more like a ships biscuit than the real thing.
We aired our views with the young waitress but she didn't show much concern whatsoever.
Needless to say we won't be eating here again for a while, however the Tribute beer is excellent.
So c'mon waterfront buck your ideas up and turf out some good value tasty grub.
J. D.
Stopped by here a few times before but today I needed somewhere to take my friend who traveled here for lunch and this seemed like the best place to take him to impress him and give a good impression of what Plymouth has to offer. The food and service was fantastic, delicious fish and chips here. What really makes this place is the sea view that it has sat outside.
M. S.
Beautiful location. Front of house we're exceptional , Our Sunday dinner was amazing all the trimmings we're all hot and freshly made . We give you love and 5 stars
S. R.
Fantastic Suday Lunch with my family
Great views too.
P. J.
Great location. Went here for a breakfast meeting but they don't open and serve until 10:00; disappointing as webpage states 09:00. Plenty of seating inside and out. Outside seating is a sea level with unspoilt views across Plymouth Sound. Limited free parking spaces.
H. W.
Wonderful venue and food. Amazing view of Plymouth Sound
K. P.
Lovely morning. Amazing location. Covid safety restrictions in place. Served tea & muffins to our table. Highly recommend.
O. N.
Fantastic pub in a beautiful location. Always seems to be busy but never enough staff so often find yourself queuing at the bar for 20 minutes or so. They also don't seem to stay open as late as they used to which is a shame.
S. P.
Beautifully cooked piece of cod with lovely thin and crisp batter, great chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce, not the cheapest but definitely one of the best around
M. A.
A very welcoming and friendly pub we went there for my friends wake after his funeral it was excellent Thankyou
R. H.
A bar with great views. Lovely food and friendly service
P. L.
What is there NOT to love?
Had dinner there last night abd coffee this morning.
Gr8 staff and service fab views and parking.
J. F.
Sitting with the sea lapping up to the old yacht club eating a fabulous burger with salad coleslaw and chips. The menu really understate how good this is as a main meal and the service is old school at its best. Well kept Proper Job rounds off the experience.
m. r.
Like how you can order on your phone from your table. Doggie friendly, great views and some nice food .
j. m.
I didn't eat or have any food just an OJ what else can I say all was fine.
L. S.

Great food n drinks in a wonderful setting, if it's sunny a great place to stop off for a pint outdoors or grab lunch and perfect for couples or families.
J.
Beautiful seafront location, stunning interior, great service, met with a welcoming smile and polite, professional and friendly service. Makes such a change to recieve great customer service.
A. v.
Stunning place, fantastic food, friendly people.
T. R.
Friendly staff, limited vegan / vegetarian food. Carrot and cordiander soup arrived with still half frozen bread. Fish and chips was generous sizewise with great chunky fries. Amazing views of the Plymouth bay throughout the restaurant and from the outside tables on the terrace.
S. W.
Excellent experience best food ever and the views of the beach are stunning
B.
Simple food but is done very well, relies on its surroundings to be successful. Can also get very busy when it’s sunny and parking is very limited.
K. H.
Staff took along time serve us at the bar even though they were all down around the corner 🤣. As they were deciding which one was going to serve sure x surely they should just go and serve it was 6pm early then the female served us and the other male had to serve and cos he wasn't concentrating he got the other customer drink wrong as he did an orange & lemonade when what was asked was an orange gin and lemonade x
K. W.
Great food and an ideal location. For a pub that has a large turnover of customers they do a great job. The food is well above standard for what you would expect and the staff are very friendly.
D. B.
Great food we loved it stunning views
D. F.
Didn't eat anything but had drinks and was really nice to sit outside in the sun.
R. C.
food is lovely staff are great even the one that wears white socks with black trousers
I. R.
Lovely place to watch the port and chill.
G. S.
It's a lovely place to sit outside and eat with a view of drakes island , I had the waterfront burger and it wasn't very nice and was given a refund. promptly with out asking for it , but the fish and chips was great " but not as great as the company I had
n. h.
Had a lovely lunch outside with today , the food was very good value considering the fresh ingredients and good sized portion , I would definitely eat here again.
T. W.
We had to catch the waiting staffs eye as customers who came in after us had their orders taken first. Other than that everything was good and the staff accommodated our wish to move
to an outside table , we would happily go back again.
K. M.
Went to the Waterfront last night. Food amazing, staff amazing, views are fantastic. Its spotless with plenty of space to sit inside and outside. Reasonably priced.
All staff wore facemasks. 5 stars
T. r.
Delightful staff and perfect food and the staff even sung happy birthday. Plus it's sells St Austell Brewery ales so that's a great for me and also the view of Plymouth Sound is a big plus.
J. C.
Great evening with good friends. A good selection of beers and ciders available. Outside the staff were attentive and drinks were brought out. Inside you can order at the bar .
M.
Brilliant wkend, brilliant service and all staff looked after us well.
M. P.
Good service very swift and despite being told the food would be 45 minutes because they prioritise those that pre-booked (which we do understand) the food was only 15 minutes. Food delicious good menu and beautiful views. Appreciate that we could get a place just showing up too.
A. T.
Excellent seafront pub and restaurant. Excellent food, service and ambience. Reasonable too
H. O.
Amazing place! Outstanding service, the lady that was waiting our table was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much for her. Will be coming here again with my family. And the view 💜💜💜
B. M.
Really nice place, good atmosphere and great range of drinks as well as good food. Would recommend
S. U.
Nice prime sea front position.
Open relaxed dining areas.
Great decaff coffee
Very helpful staff
D. S.
Really good value for money, nice view and comfortable.
C. D.
Nice large outdoor seating area. Great for a sunny day pint
D. K.
Food pretty good and the service was top notch. It does get busy so worth booking in advance, the queue for a table was quite long a times. Great view of the sound
S. C.
Living in Plymouth, I have been visiting here on and off over the years, but since reopening since Covid shutdown, I have been very impressed with how they are managing the social distancing and all the new rules and regs that go with it. The service has been particularly good - it feels "normal" and the food clearly freshly cooked, served in a timely manner, delicious and still hot even when eating outside. So many eating and drinking places have compromised on "hosting". They need to come to The Waterfront to see how it's done properly and professionally.
C. M.
Beautiful location for evening drinks.
R. E.
Great setting right on the sea front. Nice sharing ploughman’s and great choice of beer. Friendly professional staff and very clean inside.
J. W.
We had a birthday/Christmas meal here. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we found the food çould have been better. The beef was tough and my nut roast tasted only of sweet potatoes. I would go again as this may have just been not so good on that day. It's worth going for the stunning views and easy parking.
s. p.
My wife and I went to the Waterfront for a light lunch and was surprised to find that they are continuing at their own expense the “Eat out to help out” promotion until the 23rd December We had a lovely lunch with one of the best burgers we have had in a long time, really well cooked. As always the staff were excellent thanks Jamie, Katie and Angelo. Would definitely recommend especially with the current half price food promotion. Good to see they are taking the necessary COVID precautions seriously, definitely feel safe going there. Will be back for more next week. cheers guys the beer was good as well.
D.
Excellent full English breakfast buy one get one free!
V. S.
Really nice place and lovely view we just had drinks but the food looked really good so we'll definitely be back to try it.
E.

m. s.
I would recommend The Waterfront because there was great service and good food
R. G.
Have enjoyed visiting the Waterfront many times before catching the ferry. Excellent choice of well kept beers and a very good varied menu. Always been pleased to have visited. Not cordon bleu, but very good pub type venue.
r. l.
Bustling seaside spot. Great views and vibe
C. R.

Great staff great food great place
M. R.
Beautiful restaurant, lovely 3 course meal.very nice atmosphere
S. P.
Best place in Plymouth for coffee snack or meal great good fantastic location wonderful staff
K. H.
Friendly staff. Food was ok, nothing wrong with it but nothing special. Limited menu, no children's menu although when asked the did have one. Dog friendly.
M. F.
Stunning scenery, nice decor- but they really needed more waiters and the food was very average. Don't bother getting a dessert. Who ever heard of cold sticky toffee pudding!?
P.
Lovely pub serving a great choice of food and drinks. We both had fish and chips and the fish was literally the biggest I have ever seen! The batter was amazing.
Very cosy inside and very well kept.
If the weather's nice, it's great to sit outside and admire the sea view.
Can't wait to return!
k. j.
We had about 30 guests, some visiting from the USA, for our wedding and were looking for a venue to host a casual dinner for people to meet beforehand. The Waterfront were very flexible in accommodating us and even gave us our own section of the restaurant with no deposits required. Our guests loved watching the ferries arrive and the kids loved being able to play outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink selection good. Thank you so much!
r. b.
Lovely view of the Hoe - very friendly staff I had the Sunday roast and it was excellent clean toilets mostly on one level
S. G.
Staff were great. The Waterfront appear to using a reduced menu at the moment but the food was gorgeous and the waiting time was very short. Highly recommended

Beautiful setting! Polite staff and the food is quite substantial! My teenaged children enjoyed the super sized ‘homemade burger, which came with plenty of homemade ‘chip shop’ style chips and coleslaw which was also clearly made by them. I opted for one of the specials which was well cooked and tasty. Prices are fair considering the location and quality of food! We will certainly return.
c. l.
Really nice burger bit the bacon!! Must have showed it to the frying pan. Colourless and fatty. Not crispy and crunchy at all, disappointed.
D. S.
Lovely coffee, cider and cake for two. Superb view and lovely server.
Great service and super speedy.
Lovely venue

It was really busy today so reservations would have been better and the tables were a bit sticky, the service was a little on the slow side BUT the staff were all so polite and friendly it wasn't a big problem as we just chatted enjoying the amazing view. The chicken burger was ok, chips lovely, mac and cheese with garlic bread really delicious, pesto linguine bland so we got given a complimentary coffee. Would definitely go back as nothing so bad as to spoil the last day of our holidays and the views and staff made up for any little snags. Definitely worth a try, intending to be a regular on sunny days.
I. L.
Great location. Lovely water front. The only thing we would improve on would be more local fish on the menu.
K. S.
Beautiful bar in an incredible location!
There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Not the best got vegan food..
W. R.
A fantastic location with excellent service.
A. G.
Definately becoming a favourite. Great location with amazing views across Plymouth Sound. Great service, excellent choice of drinks and superb food. Been there tonight, back tomorrow and going to check out the breakfast menu on friday.
C. P.
Had my birthday meal with my family. Food was great, as were the staff.
The following week I had a birthday bash with a load of friends. Great night. Lovely buffet. Staff were superb again.
Thanks very much. Looking forward to going back again👍👍👍
S. B.
Only stopped for a drink. Asked for our details on the way in. Followed to a table. A person soon came to take our drink order, which came quickly. Extremely polite friendly service. We'll go back and maybe try a meal next time.
c. S.
Great selection of a and we'll cooked food. I would say the fish and chips we had there were legions above the fish and chips we had from the shop that has won several awards just down the road.....
Lovely atmosphere and good service too. Only downside is the gulls are a bldy nuisance if people leave and there is still food on their table.
C. B.
Food was excellent. Staff amazing and get views. Only problem you could hear the building work going on close by. Maybe a better experience when the building work stops . Other than that it was great.
I. F. F.
My partner and I had fish and chips which tasted really nice and good portions too. My son had rump steak and enjoyed it thoroughly. The childrens meal burger and chips that we ordered for our daughter wasn't what either of us expected, the burger had a bit of a funny taste to it (maybe because of the ingredients not because it was "off"). She ate half of it but didnt really enjoy it. Service was good and friendly staff.
W. D.
Nice location with great views over the Plymouth sound. There is a large amount on indoor and outdoor seating although it can be busy so worth booking. Car parking can be tricky as there are a limited number of spaces available. Food and service are good.
R. C.
This is a great place to visit on any day but sit out side on a sunny afternoon and you will see why we love this City.
Great food and drink, just try a cream tea when you visit on that sunny afternoon.
M. L. (.
Great food and right on the waterfront. Ironically. Had a great fish and chips with friends
S. P.
Super waterside hostelry on Plymouth's iconic waterfront.
L. P.
Just had a lovely steak meal here with my family. We sat outside and had a great view out over the water. The place is lovely and clean and food was tasty. The portion size was huge! Well worth the money.
O. R.
Nice atmosphere and location. Good food, nice drinks. I just had a Sunday roast with my partner which we both agreed was the nicest we've had for a long time. I've also been here for a drink on a sunny day. Medium price range, would recommend.
s. c.
Pier one lovely cake and coffee
A. L.
It is clean, refreshing and the staff are pleasant and polite and respectful. The food is good and reasonably priced too. You can either choose to sit inside this pleasantly furnished, spacious and well decorated restaurant, or sit outside on their well seated large seating area. Behaved dogs on leads are most welcome. Plus there are free doggie snack biscuits readily available near the bar. There is also water bowl just outside the entrance for all dogs. Should you sit outside. Then you can simply savour the beautiful and refreshing view of what Plymouth offers visitors and locals alike. Our Ocean City welcomes all with outstanding views from our seafront restaurants. Try it folks. You won't be disappointed.
L. S.
Love this Pub/Restaurant.... The outdoor seating boasts panoramic views of Plymouth sound, the Sunday roast is impeccable and the daily menu is small but tasty
M. D.
Food was excellent, just one small criticism - we had fish and chips and they had already sprinkled the fish with salt. I have a low salt diet and the menu did not state salt would be added. We took the top bit of batter off. Fish was excellent and the batter I could eat was very good. Please restaurants do not add extra salt to food if people want salt they can add it. It is difficult to remove once added. Service was Good, waitresses friendly.
G. R.
Five stars for hospitality and great location and appearance. But last week I think they were underemployed or simply had a bad day. Tables were not cleaned. It took a long time to get out food. The appetizer was served together with the main. My chicken tasted okay but was a bit dry. One should expect better form a professional cook.
C. H.
6 of us had an evening meal on a Saturday night so sitting inside. Nothing wrong with the food but it was expensive for the portion size and nothing special. Staff were friendly. Maybe sitting outside with a drink on a summer evening would be a different experience looking over the Sound but I wouldn't eat there again with so many other restaurants in Plymouth to choose from.
D. S.
Great food and great service
M. G.
Excellent quality, tasty food. Helpful staff. great location on the tides edge!
Mains vary from veg pasta dish £9.50 to a whole seabream salad at £17 and a rump steak at £18.
Good selection of beers including Belgian lagers.
R. C.
Very friendly , good pub food- great views
C. C.
Lovely place. We came here for a quick breakfast which was lovely. Service was great! Great decor and some well placed seating over looking the water. Who have I never been here before!!
H. F.
Best visited on a hot summer evening when you can sit outside and look over Plymouth Sound. Quite stunning. Watch the occasional warships coming and going, the ferries, always something good on. I don't think you can get tired of that view.
Beer is good, didn't sample the food, which looked expensive.
Limited parking.
d.
Nice pub in a fantastic location. They need an app for ordering or more staff . Half an hour from being seated to actually getting a drink on a Saturday afternoon. Better still in years gone by they have had a bar outside.
R. S.
enjoyed a lovely meal and drink here with a friend. Lovely service and delicious food .
J. K.
Great food and perfect for viewing the fireworks!
J. A. L.
The meals are of a very high standard, and are delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient. A wonderful location, right by the sea, where one can dine outside in better weather.
J. H.
Excellent service and amazing food. Really good portion sizes too
B. T.
Came here while I was on a business trip, met with an old friend and we chose to eat here. I was very impressed by the quality of the food, with sizeable portions at a reasonable price. Love that well behaved dogs are welcomed, more places need to do the same. Should I ever find myself in Plymouth again I would certainly come here to eat. The views are terrific too.
S. b.
Came here because was let down at the Dome. Managed to get free parking outside. Was a lovely sunny day so was packed on theterrace. Sat inside. Very nice decor and very clean. Food was very good, great chips with burger. Wife had vegetable pie off the specials board and really enjoyed it. Haven't been here for a few years but glad we have rediscovered it. Drinks are on the pricey side but you pay for the location.
T. D.
Lovely surroundings. Great friendly helpful staff. Comfortable seating and outstanding food.
S. H.
First venture out to the pub and it was lovely. Good social distancing measures in place and the staff were friendly and incredibly efficient. Good selection on the menu and the chicken burger was really tasty.
w. s.
Amazing views and a great place to relax
G. W.
Nice food. Great view. Friendly service
A. S.
Good selection of ales, mostly St Austell. Helpful bar staff. Nice views, even on a very wet day!
I. D.
Better than expected. My last venture here was almost 10years ago when it was much more high class as such, it's now more down to earth, pub grub style (nicer than standard though). Surroundings and decor are tasteful. Staff very pleasant and attentive.
L. B.
Went here for a Christmas meal and it was a little uninspiring. I appreciate we were a large group. The chairs were touching each other before having people with elbows say on them so it was a little cosy. There was no Christmas music playing. The food was ok. The turkey came out with the meat and two potatoes on a plate full of gravy which unfortunately made the potatoes soggy and then there was a bowl of veggies - but no other Christmas embellishments, no stuffing, no pigs in blankets. What was there, tasted ok though.
S. D.
We ordered fish and chips, single portion of chips, pesto linguini, 2 pints of larger and an orange juice. Orange juice had bits in, not stated on bottle so didn't get finished. Larger was called Korev, never heard of it before but would recommend it. Food was very good, both taste and portion size and service was fast and friendly, outside area is dog friendly, clean and well maintained, our table overlooked the sea. Highly recommended.
L. B.
Called in on a beautiful September evening whilst out cycling. We ordered cider and looked at the menu and were delighted to see vegan food on the menu. A very hearty meal of Portobello Mushroom burger with fries and salad!
Thank you ☺
J. M.
Superbly cooked pieces of fish for all of my party. Staff were amazing, volunteering to take a birthday photograph without us needing to ask, and then another member of staff bringing a fresh bowl of water for our dog, after he up ended his travel bowl. Thank you.
J. H.
Beautiful views to enjoy whenever you visit & conveniently has a car park. Food is a high standard, however the chips exceed all expectations if, like me, you like them to be a mixture of crispy to ‘there is no potato left inside, it is just a potatoey shell’.
Staff are always pleasant, although on occasion it can take a little while to get served, but this gives you the option to think about whether you really want to order a salad or one of the delicious chocolate brownies perched teasingly next to the coffee machine.
J. D.
This pub and restaurant is situated right on the harbour wall. The views are fantastic whilst you have a drink or eat your food. The fish and chips and the steak are very nice although a little pricey. The outside seating area is fantastic and the ships pass by very close. This is a perfect place to chill out and gets very busy when the sun comes out to play. There is a small amount of parking on site,
m.
Stopped off here looking for a roast. Managed to get parking which was surprising as busy. But the roast was very tasty. Definitely worth going to. Saw other meals being brought out that looked good too, so will definitely be coming back.
J. C.
Lovely location and staff but not many vegetarian options. Did have a lovely evening though
h. c.
Will say that it's a bit to up-market for me. Views were amazing on this beautifully hot day. Overlooking Drakes Island and you could see Jenny Cliff and beyond. Stunning. Because of covid, you wait in the line outside to be seated. It is outside seating only and there is no shelter from the sun.
The staff were polite and our big glass of Chile sauvignon was nice and chilled.
They don't have a drinks menu so make sure you have an idea before you take a seat and get looked at funny because you asked for a drinks menu. First time here and it can vary place to place. The waitress looked really confused when I asked..
A drinks menu???????
We don't have those. what do you usually drink?
Trying to be civilised, I said white wine. Pinot? ( not a shot of whiskey or cocktails or pint of rattler like usual)
We don't serve pinot.
Ok.... sauvignon?
Chile or new Zealand?
(I have no idea what the difference is. Does any body? Does anyone really care? )
I'll act like I know. Ooh! Yes! Chile please. ( 2 large glasses, £13)
It was very quiet. Noise wise. Busy with people but felt the need to not talk above a whisper.
Bit uncomfortable to be fair.
Was tidy and clean.
They allow dogs too as one opposite us was intent on trying to chase and bark at the seagulls. A lot. Was quite entertaining.
Only thing is they need parasols outside.
M. R.
Called yesterday, quick service and very pleasent staff. Great location at the end of the Hoe. 3 pints and 3 meals £50 which I thought was a 'touch' on the expensive side, Burger and chips (£13.25). It was nice but it was just a burger. The food was good but not great. Think 3 stars would have been unfair but it 'only just' gets 4 stars. One of the other meals was also just a ciabatta and chips.
A. G.
Stunning views. Well kept beers. Friendly staff. Haven't tried the food recently enough to comment on it. The Waterfront has seen many changes over the years, but this version is my favourite.
A. D.
The fish sharing platter is excellent, sides were great, quality drinks.
The manager is very good with customers.
A little more training for the staff and it would be 5star
A. K.
Fantastic drinks menu at brilliant prices. The cous-cous salad was disappointing and poor value I felt. The burger chip, fish/chip options looked alright. Great location. Lovely staff. But I did have to go fetch the waitress when 8 out of 10 guests had ran empty. Think maybe it was understaffed for a Sat night.
M. G.
Just a quick stop for cream tea.
It was lovely sitting outside.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
Well worth a stop off.
S. H.
We went for a family do, about 20, booked well in advance. Staff excellent, all over it, no request to difficult. Food was good, locally sourced and the drinks too, with a good variety and beverages too. Nice views and lovely big outdoor seating area right by the sea and the little harbour, take a crabbing kit maybe catch dinner.
B. B.
Tasty food, friendly service 👍🍔
D. M.
Great service, lovely pub grub and decent drinks. Need to book though. Also got a bit nippy outside by 8p.m. Take a jacket or book to sit inside. Needs outdoor lighting for the evening.
B. S.
A really lovely setting. I went here as part of a large group - we pre ordered and the food was all amazing. The staff were well organised and all our meals were swiftly brought out so no-one was waiting. A thoroughly good evening.
E. W.
Gorgeous views, friendly staff and great food.
S. B.
Have been here three times now, the first time the food was excellent. The last two times the food hasn't been so good. The service on all occasions has been disjointed. Its a lovely setting with beautiful views.
K. E.
Attentive service, especially Josh. Could do with more staff on Sundays and not slam the bottles in the bottle bin behind the bar. However the food is excellent and most staff always remember our dog. Always busy and always clean. Love this place.
N. P.
Absolutely amazing seafood platters, stunning views and the services was just great, highly recommend you drop by and stop for a bite to eat or a nice cool drink
R. H.
Great food. Great service
W. N.
Great place for a seaside beer
W. H.
My husband and I were with a birthday party last night, well what can I say about the buffet plenty to eat lots of sandwiches of all sorts and much more but best of all was the small pieces of battered fish and chips. I'm a non meat eater but who needed meat with fish like that . Possible the best fish I've eaten in a very long time . Well done waterfront staff
E. “.
Plenty of seating with lovely view of sea. Required to order from the table using website, very easy to use
J. L.
Lovely setting. Great coffee and staff nice. Not had food there but have heard good reviews so maybe next time!
P. F.
Good quality food, attentive staff, busy but still got served in good time. Great views. Would be my first choice for a pint and a bite to eat when visiting Plymouth. Bring your fishing tackle.
K.
Stunning views, great location. Friendly helpful staff. The chef knocked up a yummy vegan dish. Everybody really enjoyed eating here. Good relaxing atmosphere.
M. T.
Lovely attentive staff, delicious food and fab location, what more could you want
z. m.
Went on a Sunday for a roast. I myself am vegan and orderdered the mushroom burger which I have to say was delicious, came with vegan cheese and everything! Everyone else said their food was okay, but we also had the bread selection to start of which all the bread was stale! Such a shame. Otherwise gorgeous location with parking onsite and very friendly staff. Would go again
A. B.
Gorgeous views and nice food. The fish was particularly good.
D. C.
We personally Love the Waterfront, living only a mile away we often frequent the carvery which we can fully recommend, the service is and atmosphere is always friendly, it does get busy but weve never struggled to get a table. Outside is a beer garden with child's play area, there's also a games room which we also enjoy as a family for a game of pool which my elderly mum also enjoys. There's fun for all and it's good value for money, just across the road from the sea front. Perfect.
E. V. C.
The Wolseley Road Stroke Club had their summer lunch there today and we were well looked after. We had pre-ordered, so food was brought out shortly after we had everybody in their seats. We were able to eat at our own pace. The courses came out in a timely fashion. The food was worth every penny as there was plenty of it and it was very tasty. We were able to stay as long as we wanted, there was no hurry up to get out. On the strength of today, the club has booked the room for our Christmas meal. Need I say more!!
C. O.
Good food, great beer and excellent staff.
Really worth a visit.
R. K.
I had a surprise 50th birthday here. It was amazing. The food was first class, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was terrific. A big thank you for being a great part in my birthday. Can't wait to go back
A. H.
Superb.
Just enjoyed a lovely meal here with family and dogs.
Sea bream was exceptional, closest to a perfect course for my liking.
All accompanied by friendly and efficient service from Jamie
Thanks all

First time visit loved it
T. R.
First time there in a very long time. There to celebrate the passing of a friend so not a usual reason to visit but we were made welcome and the food was amazing. The family had nothing to worry about as everyone's needs were catered for. It was a beautiful wake well done and thank you x
J. A.
Good food and service. Plenty of outside space with a great view.
G. J.
Stunning! Free parking out front for customers; nice tables outside and inside; lovely and quick staff; and last but not least, the food is amazing! The menu is great, with new specials daily and a catch of the day. The food is not exactly cheap, but its a very fair and reasonable price for what you get.
N. L.
Pleasant environment on the waterfront with average food selection. Slightly overpriced compared to other establishments it attracts a good amoubt of people over the weekend. Helpful and friendly staff, the outside part of the seating is less well attended to. Overall great location and worth a visit.
K. W.
Disappointed. On the up side there is a car park and great views out to sea; and the place is partially dog friendly.
The description of the place talks of seafood but fish and chips, a piece of bream and mussels don't constitute a seafood restaurant in my eyes.
The staff lacked any sort of charisma, there was no spark.
The food was reasonably priced given the location but took over three quarters of an hour to arrive - this on a fairly quiet Tuesday in October - and the drinks were expensive; over £20 for a bottled Coke, a draught Coke, an orange juice and a G&T strikes me as pricey.
When it did it was average at best - the burger was said to be OK, the cajun chicken burger likewise and the mussels quite tasty - downside was that my favourite part of moules mariniere, the tasty juice left to eat as a soup - was so salty it was left.
Great views, good place for a coffee looking out to sea. I won't be eating there again
A. “. C.
Only had a drink on this visit but have been many times before and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Great atmosphere especially on a warm summer's evening when everyone is sat outside looking out over Plymouth Sound.
D. L.
Yes great place to go, it was my first time and it was very good service all round.
A. E.
Really in impressed with their menu and increase in vegan foods. Clean venue, good service and prices very reasonable. There is a car park with spaces dedicated for users.
C.
Really cool location, great atmosphere, beer is great and the staff are lovely
N. C.
Fantastic Christmas party service, great location, good food
C. C.
Great views, nice food but not cheap. I guess you are paying for the location
B. C.
A really nice venue and grace the waitress very thoughtful, food great.and reasonable.
N. L.
Great selection of food, plenty of inside and outside seating, good location for view over the sound and of Drake's island.
Great selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non. Good atmosphere
D. M.
Good location, drinks good. Food not good snack chips not fresh, breads not good value and over spicy not advertised on menu. Tks
for the response. Chips were left in the holding hot plate therefore not fresh and mixed old and older. The dressing including the oil were heavily spiced. Tks
r. h.
Beautiful view fantastic service made to feel at home lovely
P. G.
Good food and the staff are so helpful. I took my friend there for her birthday and nothing was to much trouble. Good customer service don't always get that everywhere. Go there and try for yourself.
j. s.
Very relaxing with glorious views over Plymouth Sound. Organised staff who work together and pleasant to deal with.
P. R.
Lovely place to eat and drink especially outside on the decking. It is worth 5 stars but should always be striving to do better thats why I gave it 4.
C. H.
Excellent as always, quick service, tasty Chinese Fayre and a great view of the Plymouth Sound when light.
t. j.
Fantastic views especially on a hot summer day. Good friendly staff. Good selection of food and drink with seating indoors and out even your pooch Is welcome.
D. W.
This is a really excellent location with panoramic views across Plymouth sound. Food is good and not too pricey but it is the position of this attractive building and, as the name implies, the closeness of the waterfront that make this one of the best eating and meeting venues in the whole city.
J. G.
Felt as safe as possible...staff very good but unfortunately quite a wait for drinks and food. Although to be honest it was busy. Food really good.
B. S.
Great location, the staff were friendly and the food and drink weren't overpriced.
D. S.
Nice spot next to the water. Top staff. Give your support to the hospitality industry and enjoy and relax 👍
L. C.
Went for a short walk, ended up 2 hours later here & it was lovely. Nice pint in the sun
B. S.
Always a pleasure to have a bite or coffee there, views stunning, food lovely
S. B.
A fantastically refurbished pub with probably one of the best views in Devon - you could hardly get closer to the sea without being in it! A great menu showcasing locally sourced, homemade food and with a nice range of unusual drinks on the bar - fab coffee too!
This pub re-opened with new owners in March 2015 so most of the reviews on here refer to the previous ownership. Well worth a visit.
B. W.
Infamous for being in 'that' photo showing it being completely annihilated by a giant storm wave in 2012, The Waterfront has reopened. A lovely venue and above average food. I've never found it crowded, which is part of the charm. Lovely art deco interior.
H. S.
First time had a meal here and it was excellent. Staff very friendly and good service would recommend the Roast Dinner superb
P. G.
We found the Waterfront Bar & Restaurant close to our B&B and made frequent visits to the dining area during our 3-day stay. The only let down was on the Saturday night when the place got very busy and the staff seemed to not cope too well with the increased pressure of serving customers on time. We saw several tables around us getting visibly upset at the slow service, and even we were ignored for more than 40 mins after we had finished a round of drinks. Despite the slow service, the service is very friendly and accommodating, the food is top quality and the atmosphere can be loud but manageable. There was another unfortunate incident where a drunk friend of one of the wait-staff was holding up the bar with loud brash and sometimes abusive language, and no one was prepared to ask hime to settle down or leave. This was a disappointing issue that the Bar Manager should have dealt with, but looked out of his depth when confronting the local drunk. Pity... would have been a great night if not for this one idiot.
M. H.
Excelelent service vreat day had by all nothing was to much for the staff.all in all a very good day.
D. L.
Beautifully located pub. The food is divine. Fresh, tasty, well presented. Plenty of staff. All friendly and helpful. Seating inside and out available. Views out over Plymouth Sound waters.... up over the Hoe to smeatons tower.
K. R.
Always a personal pleasure. It's a local haunt & professional, great service with a smile & food never disappoints....bring back the crab sandwich tho! X
M. A.
Gorgeous pub in a great location. A really relaxing spot. Staff polite and prompt with table service due to covid.
R. “. L.
Great experience, amazing location, food great and they accept dogs!!
F. T.
Nice meals and a pint with family that I have not seen for nearly two year's.
M. (.
Great breakfast and super friendly staff 👍🏼
J. E.
We took visiting friends, food was ok. Could have been slightly hotter. Very busy as a Saturday night over the bank holiday weekend. Food presented very well. Service not so good, no mention of specials board. Slightly over priced but would consider visiting again.
N. M.
Great location easy to park menu is small but this maybe down too the current situation
A. D.
On my 20th bjrthday I came here for a meal. Booked a table the day before which was very easy. After researching the place I thought it would be a nice birthday meal. The views were great and the restaurant looked nice. I ordered a burger which I enjoyed, and everyone else's food looked good.
K. L.
Lovely pub and restaurant right on the sea front and a great place to sit on the large terrace with stylish seating areas to take in the sun. Unusually easy to park for a pub on the Hoe and one of the easiest places I can take my elderly parents to when they visit as we can pull up almost to the door and then park up. Completed devastated by the storms a few years ago and completely rebuilt to a high standard.
E. E.
We were delighted to find that The Waterfront is dog friendly. The service was good despite being very busy today (Mothers Day). The food was lovely.
T. P.
Really nice staff and good pub quality food. Quite noisy when we went so a nice atmosphere so long as you don't mind talking loud over your food.
N. G.
We just had a wonderful small wedding reception here and the staff were absolutely brilliant! The buffet food was excellent and the staff even managed to cater for some tricky allergies and intolerances. Thank you all so much for making our day special.
C. R.
Amazing beer amazing food Today's roast was exceptional All the staff are very polite especially my server Josh who took time to talk to me whilst making the drinks in other places bar staff tend to just make the drinks and that's it but to have a friendly chat with the bar person makes the whole experience even more better
M. S.
Great family friendly place. Staff are always polite even when busy. Greats views outside, great atmosphere inside. Enjoy every visit.
S. J.
Was good for a outdoor seating. Food was average. Good staff.
R. W.

Stunning breakfast. There were 11 of us and all our food came out at the same time. Very well cooked and locally sourced meat.

Fantastic place to eat and drink next to the water. The food is great, with a variety to choose from on the menu. Nice selection of beers and wines with a couple of cornish ciders as well
A. T.
Great food, good service and lovely atmosphere.
C. M.
Great Dog Friendly pub with lots of room inside & out. Food and Service excellent
A. M.
Nice coffee and food. The location and views are great, reading reviews it doesn't look great that whoever replies to the reviews just bothers to reply to people who rate them 5*
Staff are friendly enough, the overall experience is almost 5* but not there yet.
E.
Very busy restaurant nice waiting staff and food not to bad either.
P. D.
Loved the food! Really tasty, with great view, however, meals are huge! 2 people can get full with one meal only.

wonderful venue, pleasant staff, unfortunately my meal was very sparse ,great disappointment, my friends had a different dish ,which was sufficient, regardless, we would visit again,. if meal had been up to scratch there would have been 4 or even 5 stars.

Great spot by the water. Good selection of gins and beers. Slightly moody staff on my last visit. A bit expensive for Plymouth but that's probably because of the premium location.

It is lovely to sit by the sea with a lovely snack/meal or just a drink. You can be inside or out. Great food and service

Have been a few times and the food has always been to a decent standard at reasonable prices. Probably the best restaurant views in Plymouth, perfect outside drinking & dining in the summer.

First time there in a very long time. There to celebrate the passing of a friend so not a usual reason to visit but we were made welcome and the food was amazing. The family had nothing to worry about as everyone's needs were catered for. It was a beautiful wake well done and thank you x

All designed with a great taste! We only had some drinks there so I can't comment on the food, but the place inside is stunning, good view too!

When the sun is shining there is no better place then the waterfront . Dont expect cheap cheap food but the food is very good and service always good even on a very busy day . Beautiful setting for sharing a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down .

Can't beat the location! A reputation for slow service but our lunch arrived in about 5 minutes. Lovely place by the water.
