I rarely leave 5 stars reviews because I can usually find fault in most things. However we were blown away by the level of service and quality of food. I had the Sunday buffet and my Mrs ordered off the menu. Every dish was fresh and tasty. We shared a dessert which was also brilliant. We will definitely be back again.

Very tranquil environment. A must for anyone who enjoys food, both Indian and English foods. For Indians, they also make the food spice level at Indian level. Mango lassi is a must who loves drinks. I tried chicken tikka roll and this took me back 20 years to a place I used to visit every weekend and loved it. Edit Revisit 6 months later and still the same great service 👍

Our first visit was early Saturday evening. There was already a queue of people waiting to be seated and the restaurant looked busy. Our order was taken while we waited to be seated. It wasn’t too long before we were taken to our table. The food and service were excellent. One of the best chicken madras I’ve ever had. A jug of water already on the table was a nice touch instead of the usual script of asking for one. I cannot fault The Buraq. As first time diners we were very impressed with the whole experience. Highly recommended and will call in again soon.

My meal was good and I enjoyed it. As a group of 12 though the majority commented that their food was not hot. Serving hot food and hot plates is a must so it was disappointing that the experience was not the best for all.

As we where staying at Ribby hall village and it was our last night we decided to eat at Buraq. Greeted so nice at the door on entry. We where seated at a table and looked at the menu. Placed our orders with the lovely gentleman. We ordered starters and mains. Once they arrived they looked amazing! And we tucked in. Chicken tikka starter and pakora where to die for! Mains where unreal too! Chicken tikka and the rice and nann bread! Wow! Best Indian I have ever been to in my opinion! Faultless and immaculate in there! If I was local I would be in here all the time! Well done to all!

My husband took me out here for date night. Having read reviews he thought it was a good choice. I agree, the food was delicious! The wine choices were great, there were a great deal of food choices and desserts also. At first I wasnt too sure about the service but Marco soon changed my opinion on that. Excellent meal, decided to eat in this time as we usually get a takeaway. Service was excellent, attentive and fast. Our meal flowed smoothly and as we wanted. The staff were great at giving advice as I usually always get the madras from here as I like it a little saucy and spicy. So they made my choice for the night a little thicker for me. That was just a nice touch by not just the staff at front of house but from the chefs too. This place has won awards and I can see why. If you want a decent Indian, then definitely look no further.

We were part of the group of 12 for which the booking hadn't been properly recorded. The restaurant coped well with that and we didn't have to wait long for drinks and our order to be taken. We were shown to a table fairly quickly, but the food service was fairly slow. Over an hour before the starters arrived and the whole meal took about 3 hours from start to finish. Food was good, but the madras I had was extremely spiced. No complaints about the quality.

A group of us have regular ‘curry nights’ at various Indian restaurants on the fylde coast. Whenever we go to the buraq it is enjoyed by all and is probably our favourite venue. The food and service are faultless.

Excellent welcome offers by the very friendly and efficient staff. However, the parking available is limited. The food is tasty and hot. All courses are presented beautifully and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I would recommend this restaurant for groups both large and small. Rest assured you will be catered for in a very professional way.

The set meal for 2 was decent, more than enough to eat, for which we left the majority. Service was the only pitfall, not the actual interaction but the timings. An example of this would be 10 minute wait for the bill once asking, 5 minute wait for cutlery. After the 10 minute wait for the bill, we ended up having to walk to the bar instead as they still never brought it to the table.

We went to the Buraq for the first time and we'd already read some of the Google reviews which said it was a great place to eat. It is indeed. The food was excellent and the staff members are kind, helpful, polite and professional. As an added bonus they offer to refresh your coffee for free and offer complimentary drinks at the end of the meal. We will be going again and if you've read this far - give this place a try - you'll be glad you did.

Have just come back from eating at this restaurant. What can I say- absolutely wonderful. The staff are brilliant, the food is tremendous. There was me, my husband and 2 grandchildren and we decided on the Sunday buffet all you can eat. I am not very good with anything too spicy but found enough choice of not too hot (but still tasty) food. Was a bit dubious about taking the grandchildren as they are very fussy and don’t like anything spicy but needn’t have worried as they enjoyed the rice, chicken pakora, nan bread, korma etc. We finished with banoffee pie for dessert and the children had ice cream. They had no chocolate sauce so they even sprinkled chocolate on the top of the ice cream. Just to top it off when we asked for the bill the children weren’t even charged for anything. This will be a firm favourite in the future. Highly recommended.

Visit Buraq for the first time tonight with my family What can I say, well, pleasant staff, nice food and good beer too. Would definitely make another visit. Big portions. Two side orders of pilau rice would have been enough for the Four of us. We ordered one each and had a mountain of food to get through. Luckily though Buraq were more than happy to put the left overs into a doggy bag. Left feeling full and very satisfied. Would recommend.

This was our third visit to The Buraq, we normally go to the Indian at the end of our road. The Buraq does have great tasting food with a large selection of dishes. It is mid priced and their Meal Deals are reasonably priced. Unfortunately wiping down a filthy side dish with a paper towel and giving it back to me still dirty was a poor start. After a couple of cokes we ordered some a couple of non-alcoholic Cobras, we normally drink Cobra at our regular Indian, but were brought Becks Blue which is nothing like Cobra. The waiter didn't seem impressed that we declined as he'd ready opened both bottles. This wasn't helped when the customer next to us asked where his Cobra was that had been ordered about 15 minutes earlier. When we finished the meal we declined the coffee included with the meal and asked to pay. At that point we were offered a drink on the management, we assume by way of apology, but this we considered it an empty gesture given we weren't drinking. We've decided not to make a fourth visit in future.

The best Indian buffet I have ever had. On my way back from a wedding fayre round the corner I stopped off to try the buffet, I couldn't believe my luck it was simply fantastic, I live in Burnley but would have no hesitation driving back here again. The best buffet I've ever had!!

Now i am a big indian food eater. so have eaten all over the place. I can honestly say this was the best restaurant( indian style)that i have had in a long time. we went as a result of passing the place en-route to blackpool. about 15minute drive away from the beach. I called up and reserved a table for 10 on the off chance and was met by nice staff members who cooked our food to perfection. curries had an authentic home made taste to them. my favourite was the meatballs.wow something out of this world.

I have used the Buraq delivery service quite a few times over the last few years. The quality is always excellent and the helpings are generous. Last night we had a £23.99 meal deal. Loads of extras; poppadoms, onion baji, naan bread, samosas and pilau rice. We also had a Kofta curry and Chicken Tikka Massala. Plenty for a great dinner and a generous lunch the next day! We've tried the rest and this is the best. Lovely Indian restaurant if you are celebrating an occasion or just wanting excellent food in nice surroundings with very attentive pleasant staff. If you've never tried Indian icecream (Kulfie) before it's definitely worth giving it a try much better than the usual run of the mill ones on every menu.

At last an Indian restaurant where they serve English food that tastes like English food and is good too. The food is normally cooked in the same pots as the Indian and tastes of the spices used. Totally unacceptable to me as it causes me a great deal of discomfort. I would give it a 4.5 if I could.

Early evening spontaneous curry. Attentive staff, 5 mins to prep the table, and the main courses were very, very good. Had an excellent, nearly perfect prawn vindaloo, hot but very well seasoned with only a hint of the mandatory hiccups. Onion bgaji although ok were not as good as the mains. My significant other finished all of her lamb RJ, and there is no higher recommendation than that. Great value, go for the main courses don't fill up on starters.
