Last time a came here was in 2015 from Birmingham and the food and service was 110%. Last night I returned after 7 years (purely for Carl's Secret Sauce Wings.... I have fallen in love with the sauce 👍👍😂😂) and I was not disappointed. Food was brilliant and service was fantastic. Worth every penny. The young lady that served us was polite and always had a smile on her face and Marcus was a absolute gentleman. Next time I'm in Blackburn visiting family, I will be back. DON'T TAKE CARL'S SECRET SAUCE WINGS OFF THE MENU. Tops Marks 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Went around 2pm and loved that it was just us! Beautiful interior and service. Food was 10/10, could not fault at all. And the drinks were banging, defo enjoyed and will be coming back!

First time coming to this place. I would come back. The tear and share bread was so delicious, so was the chilli chicken with noodles. The only let down was the loaded fries, I wasn’t a fan of the sauce used. Also the mocktails were not mocktails, more like slush texture. Cookie dough was amazing! Overall good food, just down to personal preference of the loaded fries.

Went for the food, stayed for the pizza. Hands down some of the nicest pizza you'll have on a night out. The burgers on the other hand could be better, extremely juicy (dripped onto the plate like a tap) and lacks flavour.

Been back here after a while an was satisfied. The waitresses were very polite and well presented and made sure our order was correct. The food was tasteful and waiting times under 20 mins (noting it was not that busy). Will go again. Order consisted off the bao buns (very tasteful. A nice sticky bbq) carbonara (again nice amount of cheese and flavour,) picannte bread (tasty) pollo milianese infonare, sweet potato fries and cookie dough for desert.

Went for breakfast with family and had egg bhurji. This contained masala scrambled egg, spicy chickpeas, masala kheema, parathad and mango pulp. Excellent taste of all items and filling! Also had the masala chai - this went very well with the desi breakfast. Overall, highly recommend this restaurant.

I quite like this restaurant and have favourites I tend to go for whenever I visit. The chilli chicken basket, the tear and share bread, and the chicken burger. I wouldn't recommend the bao buns even though they were super soft and yummy breads, they were over filled and the beef was not seasoned well. However, for lunch it's quite good as you can order a small amount and the price is worth it. But definitely not for dinner as its really over priced for what it is and not anything special. The mojitos are not worth it at all, the price is not reflective of the taste and presentation. Again, would recommend just for the three above and for lunch.

Excellent food, it is genuine 4 stars and worth it…. Chicken wings, samosa chaat, burgers, pizza, calzone, chicken grills, & Tomahawk steak… we’re all excellent. Quality of ingredients is very good. The only criticism is that flavours of some items could be improved. That said I’ll happily visit again. Take care guys and God bless.

Ordered the tear and share bread. Was very good. But the restaurant decoration is worn out with a general impression of being not clean. A weird smell too... I ordered a bottle of water and got tap water??!! It's a shame because there is a good potential.

Very nice food, i personally have never been let down here. It is expensive but i would happily pay for this food. Recently had the tear and share bread, which was absolutely amazing, beautifully spices, with a tasty dip. The crispy beef basket was also amazing, i have never had anything like this before. Was here last week with work friends, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The two management people (Marcus and John) were such a laugh, it was nice how they gave us time and stood talking with us. The price is expensive, but its worth a it for a good meal.

We went a couple of weeks ago for lunch. Prawn starter. Burger. Pizza. Pina Colada. Tap Water. Prawns, tasty but bread too doughy. Pizza, pepperoni tastes nice, but bread again too doughy. Burger was nice. The Pina Colada no longer comes in a pineapple, so I’m not sure why the list price is £7. Tap water was amazing, a true blessing for us all. Service was decent, the maitra d wasn’t rolling with his usual quips which felt odd. We eat at this place now and again, but would be regular if food was executed perfectly each time. The pizzas were much better when first opened.

Was travelling thru Preston, and found this Steakhouse online, which specified is Halal. On arrival, we were the only patrons. While waiting for our order, they brought out a tear& share dish, compliments of the management. This was delicious, so made us eager for our mains, as it set the standard. Our steaks were served, and were quite disappointed....they were okay...and that's about it.

Staff were friendly chilli chicken with mash was gorgeous!! Samosa chaat wasn't great but the chicken 65 starter was Yum. Will definitely be going back for the chilli chicken main. It was crispy and covered in lots of sweet chilli sauce. Mash was very creamy. Can't fault it besides wanting a bigger portion.

I've been to the Leicester and Bradford branch so was expecting the same standard but unfortunately they fell way short. Food was average at best. Staff were friendly. Parking is good. Plenty of seating. I won't be returning unfortunately.

Theres always items unavailable off the menu, and the chicken taste 🤢 youd find icelands frozen chicken better than this joints. id take my family out to this place couple of times a month but now id steer as far as possible. Sadly it used to be my go to place but not anymore.

I went to this place with family on way home through Preston Wanted to visit the Bradford branch but it closed before I could Firstly the staff girl with glasses and lady with scarf both had good customer service skills On to the food Starters were wing platter (good) tear and share bread (good) dynamite prawn at about £9 for only 5 (not worth it tbh) Mains got a few burger (beef burger was very dry on inside) chicken was over cooked imo Pizza was really good, mix grill at £15.95 for only 2 chops 2 wings 2 chicken breast piece plus a very small amount of chips ( daily light robbery) I was quite disappointed with it tbh Also mains took approx 25 mins to come after starters (it wasn’t that busy aswell) Mocktail we’re virgin mojito (good) and tropical science (don’t know how I felt about it tbh) Overall I feel this place has good food but the price doesn’t go hand in hand with quantity and (quality in some areas) Hopefully they take feedback on board Don’t know if I would be visiting again tbh

The only thing that worried me prior to going was that I couldn't find pics of the place on the inside, and what was the service like? The service was lovely. The place was really nice on the inside. The food was unbelievable, the desserts make you want to return. To be aware of? Alcohol not served here. But I guess you need to talk to someone if you need it everywhere you go right?

I would say that there is no better restaurant in Preston than Marco & Carl. The ambience is fantastic and the food is simply superb. The taste, quality, presentation and everything about the food is awesome. They really serve gourmet food at very affordable prices. The staff are amazing and very friendly.

A great place with amazing quality food and service. We had the picante bread and chicken basket. The bread was fluffy, warm and delicious and the chicken in the basket was deliciously juicy and moust. The sauce on it was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the mumbai pizza and the crisp base you can only get from a traditional stone baked pizza. Great ambience, the decor is lovely and modern but with a rustic charm. A good place to go for afternoon lunch.

I have been visiting Marco and Carl for some time now and given the situation with lockdown its good to know the standards and quality has not slipped! We recently went for breakfast and it arrived quickly, within 20mins, which is great when you are hungry. We did visit again on fathers day and of course it was busy and understandably we did have to wait a little longer for our breakfast but the food was still great!! Cant actually wait to try the new menu!

It was ok... waitress couldnt even speak english properly, missed one of our orders, but thank god she did, couldnt eat anymore. Tare and share was lovely for a starter, the calzone we barely finished, lost my appertite for it, had to pack it away. Funky chips is a grey area, id recommend just sticking to house chips. Gets sickly if u have the funky chips then a calzone. Me and my partner shared the starter and the main. The pulled steak chips isnt a good mix. I think whole idea of funky chips wasnt the best idea. Should just go as far as cheesy chips. We had room for dessert and was looking foward to a larva fudge cake but never got a chance, it was 21:50 and they closed the kitchen! The place closes at 10pm. We had time for a dessert to be whipped up. Dissapointing it all i have for this branch.

Owner kindly slotted me in even when they were really busy with bookings. Free parking outside. Disable parking also available. Nice clean friendly atmosphere. Beautiful decor and lighting. Food took a while coming out. The drinks were really tasty. Food tasted amazing. The salads were fresh. Kids really enjoyed their burgers. I had the sea bass with mash and mushroom sauce which was really well cooked. Not a place you would visit weekly as the prices are slightly high. Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family. Great for occasions and get togethers. Recommend booking a table in advance. The owner is really friendly and welcoming. Delicious. I ordered the mixed grill, and the lamb chops and chicken breast were the most tender meat I've ever had, and they were well seasoned. However, they are a bit spicy, so if you do not like that, just ask the waiter for it to be mild. Staff were lovely and very accommodating too.

Absolutely fantastic food and amazing staff service. A massive thanks to Marcus, a fantastic person who made his very own fantastic Nutella milkshake! It was very amazing, even though I've tried other Nutella milkshakes and I've not liked them, his was way better! Ordered a range of items from the menu. The flavour of all these dishes was very similar which was strange. The service was good but the wait time is alittle too long even while the restaurant was not very busy. The price was reasonable. The interior was a very nice and comfortable place to be. Overall an OK place to eat.

1st time visit. The 1st of many hopefully. We were met with a smile and seated straight away. Starters were served within 10 mins and the mains took 15-20 mins. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food...was immense!! You might think this is a family friend writing the review but I promise you it isn't. For 2 people - 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 dessert = less than £40! What's not to like. I would honestly rate it 10/10.

Been coming here for a while now and never been disappointed. Theres a menu change which I welcome. Staff were friendly as always and service was top. I am even more happy now that they offer sauted vegetables as an option with your meals. I had the mixed grill which is new and it was so tasty and nice. I was limited to what I could order before due to not eating carbs but now I have many choices and look forward even more to coming and trying other things. The portions were large and great value for your money.

The interior and decor is fantastic. The welcome by the door staff was very good and welcoming. The wait for food was Long. Approximately 45 mins (Friday evening) The staff had little knowledge of the menu. Asked simple questions about the burgers, staff did not basic knowledge. Food finally came, when it came in received the wrong burger. Took 20minutes to rectify. By then, my friend had finished his meal. My food finally arrived, and it was a real disappointment. Burger was bland, not much taste. Burger bun arrived cold. Not impressed. Mocktails were ok,not as good compared to rivals. Other than that, not so impressed. I don't mind the prices, as long as the food was on par with the prices. Sadly, they did not tally. Based on this, I would not visit again. Nice atmosphere though.

Visited this place with a party of 11, order arrived prompt and everyone served one after the other. Parking on site so that was good. I had the Grande Fried Breakfast was okay nothing special, the karak tea was dreadful English tea with some spice. Would be better if you made it more milky. I prefer a greasy breakfast and this was the healthy tasting. Good place to visit and perfect friendly staff.

It always a hit and miss with the breakfast here. I asked once if I could swap and change the mushrooms as I don’t really like them but they said no. They also don’t have scrambled eggs as an extra on the sides so you can’t build your own breakfast. It was a shame because most of my breakfast went to waste. Another time I asked for egg whites and I was told they are unable to accommodate as the head chef is not in. The pancakes and milkshake were nice. If you like a set menu then this may be a place for you.

Difficult place to order from.. I've been a number of times but its difficult the staff give no Leigh weigh.. ordered breakfast asked if the toast could be buttered before it comes out as they cold and the butter doesn't spread, asked for a mixed strawberry and rasperry mojito "sorry we can't do either of these." A journey lasting over 90 minutes just to eat food, that's commitment. We visited this place after a few people had highly recommended the quality of the food here. Upon arrival, it was noticeable how busy the place was, there wasn’t a free table for what seemed like forever. When we finally got acknowledged by the staff, we were shown to our seats and presented the menu. Being a burger guy, I was instantly drawn to The Burj. This mammoth burger consisted of; a beef steak patty, chicken patty, poppadum, rib meat, fried egg and all the usual condiments. My friend opted for a 500g piece of cow aka the Tomahawk Steak Now you can imagine my disappointment when the staff advised to order something else because the ‘grill is malfunctioning’. Why do bad things happen to good people I kept asking myself. I was so let down that my initial reaction was to eat elsewhere, or to pull out my mini screwdriver set in the boot of my car to help fix the problem. I travelled all the way here only to be told that I wouldn’t get the food that I came here for. Once they realised I wasn’t bluffing, I was told the grill had miraculously been fixed. Why would you put me through that, WHY?? Fast forward another lifetime of waiting and the food eventually arrived. Could not fault the presentation. The steak was very well presented and looked succulent. My burger was served in a hickory smoked dome - you don’t see that everyday. I’ll leave the steak review for another day but the burger was delicious. The buns didn’t fall apart like they usually do on a tower burger. The patty’s rested on each other separated only by sauces and cheese. The flavour was a delight for the tastebuds but I had to remove the tomato for personal reasons. All in all, a very fulfilling meal that made up for the poor start we had. Rating: 8/10

Amazing Mojitos, Decent Food, Good Service by Some Staff but not by all. The Mojito's here are Amazing definitely some of best ive ever had! Have tried both the strawberry Mojito and also the lime Mojito. There fillet steak is really nice would definitely recommend. Would say avoid the beef burger was disappointed was expecting a looser more homemade style patty but it's a thick circle on meet (not my prefered type of burger but some people love it) Have also been disappointed by the pizzas but again some people love them (just not my personal preference as i found them soggy in the middle) Staff are a mixed bunch one on the waitresses is really nice and friendly gives the level of service you expect when paying that much however there's this waiter who really needs some more training or a career change as hes so rude and shows no enthusiasm at all (not what you want to come across when going on a nice night out!)
