This place is great. Quality street food at good prices. Staff all very polite and quick to notice when you need them. Food came quickly and was really good. I had 3 dishes and a beer for under £25! Very filling and tasty!! Highly recommend! Oh and the swing seats are so cool! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This place has topped my list of places to eat in Preston, the flavour in the food is crazy. I have allergies and they were catered for with no issue and on the back of the menu is a breakdown of allergens. I’ve been twice already being served by Lily and Charlie who were both brilliant. Highly recommend Mowgli to everyone. Also, very well priced 2 people can easily get stuffed for 30£

A fantastic place to eat! It has a great atmosphere and great decor. We could not have asked for more from the staff. Our server Tabby was amazing, very cheerful, informative and gave us some really good recommendations. My friends food allergies were taken into account very carefully even down to his food being prepared in a different part of the kitchen so as not to risk any issues, thanks Tabby great job 🙂 As for the food, I think this has now become my favourite place to eat in Preston. The food quality and flavour is outstanding and is a real treat to say the least! Well done Mowgli Preston, you gave us a great afternoon 🙂

We had a fabulous family feast at Mowgli this weekend. We sampled an array of delicious plates. The flavours were spot on and the portion sizes were fantastic. I’d really recommend the chip butty and tamarind potatoes! The staff were very attentive and took the time to look after our two toddlers….. who were huge fans of the swings! We will be back!

Been here a few times and have nothing but love for the place. The staff are super friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about all the dishes. It is explained when ordering that the dishes are small due to it being almost Indian tapas and to order 2-3 dishes per person and the food is very reasonably priced. The food is hot, fresh and bursting with flavour and arrives quickly depending how busy the restaurant is. On both occasions when it was busy, never waited for more than 15 minutes from time of ordering. Having been to both Manchester and Preston, this new addition to the Preston restaurant scene is definitely one that needs checking out.

We visited Mowgli Preston and loved everything about it. The ambiance of the restaurant was fabulous with the twinkly lights and swings at the table. Absolutely first class customer service by Ellie tonight. My brother and wife went for their wedding anniversary and I hadn't sent the correct correspondence containing the voucher. Ellie said it wasn't an issue and managed to use my order reference and will pick it up with head office to void the actual voucher. Mowgli then went on to compliment the remainder of the bill. It was lovely. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is terrific. I'd been to the one at Cheshire Oaks a week or so before with my son,his wife and his mother and father in law and when I saw the one in preston I decided to take my daughter. We both loved it. 😍

Loved the decor and the swinging seats, really cool modern vibe to the place. Food choice is great and something for everyone. As mentioned portions are small but that’s the whole idea to get you buying more. Service excellent and attentive from Matt, would recommend and will be going again in the near future. Everything was fantastic, my wife booked it for me and 3 others along with me. I think the lamb chops were still very tough to eat. I have tried the Lamb chops of Mowglie in Charlotte Street London and I should say they were fantastic. But over all the rest of the food was good, service was okay staff were being too casual not impressed with service standards

First time visit to Mowgli in Preston but have been to the Leeds one. On both occasions we have had fantastic meals. Service was quick and the food was amazing. Decent portions and not as pricey as you would think. Hopefully next time we’ll get a swing seat, they are always taken for when we get there.

We went on the off chance and was very pleased to be invited in as it was a soft opening. The food was absolutely delicious and could not fault it. Not a fan of the swing seats but that’s a personal choice. The plates are not not easy to eat off as they are too shiny and slippery if that makes sense? We are not big eaters so asked to take out what we had not eaten. We were brought boxes to dispense the food ourselves which was not an easy task and the paper bags do not fit the boxes. In past experience when we have requested this in other restaurants the food has been taken to the kitchen to be put in containers and brought to our table. However this would not put us off returning. Would highly recommend.

Visited the Preston restaurant today as a birthday treat. Staff very friendly and helpful explaining how the menu worked. We ordered our selection then waited and waited 40 minutes later the food arrived. Stylishly presented the sauces on our dishes perfect, the chicken was questionable we found several pieces of grizzle the fish however was delicious. The bunny chow was disappointing the bread was stale. The roti was cold and started to harden. Our biggest beef was when presented with the bill we found it is standard practice for 10% to be added to the bill for staff. We generally tip in restaurants if the food and service has been good. Our overall impression was that the food was not the best was very small and overpriced. We will not be returning.

Myself and my two friends visited Mowgli tonight. We got there at about 6.20. Although slow to be given menus and slow to take drinks order the ambience made up for it and seen as we were in no rush we didn’t mind. Unfortunately, after ordering we waited over an hour for our food. We asked the waitress about our order as other customers who came in later than us had already been served. She came back to tell us that the order had been mistakenly missed, therefore no food had been put through to the kitchen. The waitress was extremely apologetic and assured us that the food would be out asap. The manager then came over and was also very apologetic. Once the food arrived we were all very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. Lamb curry, goan fish and butter masala amongst a few dishes we had and all very good. The manager then came over as we asked for the bill and again apologised as well as giving us a heavily discounted bill for the error. We will definitely be returning. Despite a few teething issues, the problems were dealt with very well and the food was fantastic.

Amazing place, staff very professional, polite and respectful, i would like to highlight a lady named Francesca, we received an outstanding service, she recommended us a lot of different dishes and it was spot on, she also smile and have a laugh with us, make us feel special ! Absolute taste overload, Mowgli chip butty, not like any Ive ever had, so tasty, treacle & tamarind chips were out of this world, I could go on and on and the best thing we could take our two young Labradors ( not on everyone's priority I know, but to us its important ) think the swing seats may not be to everyones liking, but there are normal ones. This is Indian street food at its best, portions are not what you might be used to in an Indian restaurant but the taste makes up for it. Also you don't tend to be served all at the same time, but hey no big thing. We loved the whole experience and will deff return.

Ok. How can I put this? Mowgli Preston absolutely wipes the floor with every other Indian restaurant in Preston. How bored I am of all the other so so middle of the road Indian / Asian restaurants serving up cheap cuts of meat and low grade vegetables in sauces catering for basic palettes. Mowgli is totally the opposite of this. It is vibrant and delicious and every mouthful of every dish is delightful, the Chat bombs, Bhel Puri, lamb, fish and Agra chicken Currys are like nothing I've ever tasted and if these are Nisha's family recipes then my goodness, they're mind blowing! Even the Puri's are light and puffed to perfection! I've heard on the grapevine that some Prestonians are moaning about things like portion size and prices, but hey, if you're looking for the lowest common denominator food then go somewhere else to feed your fat Face Mowgli is special, the food is fresh, zingy, tender, spicy even sexy! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Oh by the way, don't expect all your dishes at once, it's all cooked fresh so expect a bit of love and care with your food, I promise your patience will be rewarded. BIG shout out to Tabitha. She's like the Guru of all things Mowgli and thanks Nisha. Girl did this City need you!

Excellent addition to the eating out market in Preston. Very tasty food. My current favs are the yoghurt bombs and the sticky wings. Would be 4.5 stars for me, with the only downside being the swing seats, which I found got in the way of my arms and made eating a touch awkward.
