Ordered a chip barm which cost me £2.40 which is good value once I got home I discovered this massive portion! Could easily feed two or maybe three people! Picture doesn’t do it justice there was loads of chips underneath!! Barm was toasted and nice and warm however a little to cooked for my liking! Never had a barm from a chippy/take away that’s been toasted before usually you get that in restaurants! So very pleased! The staff in this place are always so lovely and friendly and always greet you with a smile and always ask how my day has been or how I am ! Amazing place and amazing staff! Every credit to this place xx

Impeccably clean well staffed and friendly Fish & Chip shop. I was served with newly fried piping hot chips, and a pudding and gravy. The young member of staff was very polite and friendly. I have been coming here for 40 years or more and I'm never disappointed.

First time in years I visited this chipshop wasn't disappointed , friendly service good service , had fish and chips and a children's. meal the chips were lovely and fresh cooked the fish while I waited , it was delicious ,and the price was great , try them and see for yourself

Not the worst chips. Portions tiny ask for salt and vinegar never got it. Asked for curry separately it was put on top she did that on purpose cos I didn’t have time to wait 15 minutes for a fish. The old woman with the blonde hair serving has a bad attitude very very rude,the man seemed ok My experience was all round bad at this chip shop today I might give it another try a different day. You should not be ready to close till closing time and service your last customer as good as your first customer. Food was not to bad have had a lot better

having read the reviews of local eateries decided to give this one a try as the reviews here where good and it was local to my stay. i have to agree with the 5 star reviewers, nice clean place ( no pun intended lol) friendly and efficient staff, good portion sizes and nice quality potatoes used for the chips. i went 4 times in my 15 day stay in preston. many thanks and keep up the good work all at nobletts.

A couple of months ago I posted a review about very rude staff which was true at that time, don't know if the people have changed or if it was just a different shift but because I live right behind a corner from this place, I ordered fish and chips after a night out and I have to say it was really good. The portion was massive, we had two regular portions and they were more like large (which is not a complaint of course) and the fish was really nice. I'm not a big fan of the batter, I usually leave the batter and only eat the fish (which was delicious) but I eventually ate the batter on its own because it was so nice and crispy I couldn't resist. Also the gentleman on the phone was very sweet and cannot complain about anyone being rude to me this time. And to the owner: I apologise for not calling the number, I haven't noticed your response until now.

I've been going here for years as it's my local. Always friendly service, always excellent chips. I'd advise to ring ahead with a pre-order if you can as they get quite busy, though they do accept walk ins too. Kids meals great value compared to other chippys near here too

Not the freshest fish and chips I've had because the fish was already fried and the chips were too, but they were large portions, and well presented, good consistency on the peas, ie not to dry. the teacake was well buttered and soft, the can of coke was the correct temperature, nice and cold, and the assistant was nice and efficient, with a cost of around £6.40 Overall, very good value for money. I would give it 7.5 out of 10.

These fish and chips are absolutely delicious. The chunky fish is a proper fillet and it's not over powered by the batter. We ordered lunch for 14 for our Church lunch club at quite short notice and it was ready to the minute for when we needed it. Excellent service, staff and food.

Great food visit regularly but if you want to phone your order through, the staff stop answering the phone around 25 mins before closing but say it never rang - this has happened on different visits so get your order in early to avoid disappointment because the fish and chips are great.

Food freshly cooked not greasy fish and chips. Pies and puddings are tasty and good quality I think it is the best chippy north of Blackpool road. Preston north end memorabilia to look at while waiting for your order. Friendly and obliging staff
