I have dined here 3 times, easy booking service, adequate parking and spacious place. The meals are well made, tasty, and filling, staff service is really good. My family and I have enjoyed every meal and will be making regular visits.

This place was right next door to the Premier Inn where we stayed for the night en route to Blackpool. looked really nice but we had a choice of the beefeater or local pub for dinner. It was close but the local pub won. went into the beefeater for Costa coffees in the morning and just looking round it looked really nice and the man behind the bar doing the coffees was so polite and helpful I almost felt guilty for not eating there. - maybe next time, but it'd certainly convenient if you are staying at the Premier Inn in Preston. loads of parking outside aswell

I rang twice to increase booking from 4 to 5 but even then when we arrived the booth allocated was room for 4 and set for only 4. So one of us had to grab another chair and sit at the end of the booth. Service was very slow for 6.30pm booking tho I appreciate it was end of Father’s Day. The main meal was fine but the desserts looked as if they had scrapped from what was left of the chocolate torte and it was slopped on the plate and half size for £5.99 each. I’m not sure I will use this branch again.

Always great, friendly service. The breakfast deal where kids get to eat free should be shouted about from the rooftops, well worth a visit. Only thing that could make it better would be being dog friendly 🙂

Not been in a while. Atmosphere was bland. My burger was tasty but the chunky chips were okay, tasted like may be frozen chips. For the price I was expecting proper chips. Everyone was crammed into one area. Wasn't impressed. R x

Stayed for 2nts....no air con, had a fan in room that made no difference. No pancakes for breakfast, breakfast finished at 11am went in at 10 and was told no pastries and only what on show is what there is. No pizzas on kids menu. Breakfast following day totally different think it was the manager on the Saturday couldn't b bothered. Don't know gentlemen name who we saw on Friday night, sat night and sun morning was very helpful and accomadating

We went there for an impromptu meal, having got a 50% voucher off in my email that day We went for burgers, which were very good, with the voucher cheaper than Burger King and damn sight better. Only issue was when the bill came the voucher hadn't been applied so we had to get a reprint of it.

First time visiting and we decided to go for breakfast. Staff friendly and welcoming, nothing too much bother, went above and beyond without needing to be asked, clearly their normal level of service. Attentive but not over attentive, always kept themselves busy and this was reflected in the overall level of cleanliness(spotless) and the promptly cleared plates - and they all looked happy to be working there. Outstanding staff and they need to be complimented on this. Food was great too lol, lovely breakfast, freshly cooked to order and good quality, the continental buffet was lovely too. Great value for money but it's definitely the staff that stood out, every credit to them and clearly the manager too. Breakfast 28.11.21 so you can pinpoint the staff and pass on our thanks.

Popped in whilst having a vehicle serviced at a nearby Jaguar dealership. As I could not wait in the Jaguar reception area due to COVID restrictions, I wandered round to the Beefeater and asked if I could wait there until the car was serviced. I ordered a drink and made use of their free WiFi. Had a quick chat with the landlady (who is lovely) and waited for a call to collect the car. During my wait, I was given some pastries from breakfast, which had just finished - yum! So, if you are in the area and just need somewhere welcoming, I would highly recommend using the Norman Jepson Beefeater for great beers and food

This place is amazing! I don’t drink beer but was actually really good. The food was amazing the chef Luke cooks amazing. Next time I go to England I will for sure go back there and have the food again.

Used the pub for a couple of days while staying at the Premier Inn next door. Tale of two halves. Both days the breakfast were great. Served quickly food OK and staff friendly. Had a bit of an issue with the evening service. First night drinks and small order of food. Left half an hour after ordering drinks as they had to change the Doom Bar barrel and the bartender seemed to forget about us. No apology when reminded. Second night we tried the restaurant. Our initial food orders could not be met and we had to change a dish and steak on the surf and turf. But then the order was just turf and no surf. The ribeye was as thin as a piece of paper as well. The surf was added eventually but it felt like a lack of communication. The staff were great but they need to be informed of what's going on in the kitchen before taking orders and also thin steak in a restaurant is a no no in my book. Also the table next to us had similar issues. Get some small things right and this would be a good pub.

Tricky to find, need to look out for the (very) small signs however once there it is a pleasant experience. Good parking, clean toilets and very nice staff. The food is what you would expect from this type of (generic) establishment...Well cooked, simple food served well.

Staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant seems to be coping well with the effects of Covid19. The menu choice was quite limited and I was disappointed with the quality of the food we received. For dinner both myself and my daughter ordered 8oz sirloin steak, mine was ordered medium and my daughters well done. The menu stated they were to be served with triple cooked chips and salad garnish. When we received them my steak was under done and obviously not rested enough whereas my daughters was overcooked. The said garnish for both was no more than a couple of leaves. My wife ordered scampi with a side salad which arrived swimming in salad dressing. My wife was later up all night with a bad stomach. Because my wife was still feeling unwell only me and my daughter went for breakfast the next morning. Again the staff were wonderful but very overworked running from one customer to another with no obvious let-up. Because of the covid restrictions the buffet breakfast is not being offered meaning the waiting staff are providing table service but this causes inevitable delays.

Love this place. Nice to be able to go and eat knowing they have put lots of new measures in, makes you feel safe. Been going for a fair few years now and it's always our first choice for a good steak. Thanks to the Manager and our waitress Charlotte for the excellent service tonight.

Good food, reasonable prices. Staff attentive without being intrusive. Arrived 15 mins late for family meal, went to the bar for drinks. Instead of just taking my money, the staff asked where I was sitting then told me I didn't need drinks, as the party had already bought them and they were on the table. Kudos to the staff as this was a busy Mother's Day lunchtime. Party of nine including 2 children and all enjoyed their meals.

I absolutely adored the chicken wings starter and the mains an dessert left me feeling full to bursting so you could do I enjoyed the meal! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a little fussy about ordering but all our needs were catered for with humour in both sides. The only downside was that it was a little chilly in the pub. We actually moved tables to avoid the draft but it was as still a little too cold.

Another waiter me brought the food made sure the guy got the right plate because more than one person was having the same and variants had chunky chips - those have a very light batter coating, while the gluten-free are thin fries.

Very nice indeed. We noticed this place while cycling round the guild wheel last weekend and decided to give it a try. Entering the quiet car park we thought the worst but we were wrong. The staff were keen and welcoming and the food was terrific. We will be back again soon.

Visited many times as meet up with craft ladies. Always been happy but I think choice if Fish & chips was not ideal for me. Haddock had skin on of which I do not care for, by the time Tartare sauce came chips & lead nearly cold. This was mentioned to staff & they did not charge for. Thank you very much, it won't put us off in future.

Service good. However some menu items not available. Portion sizes hit and miss, some meals arrived with about twice as many chips as others, an adult meal arrived with fewer chips than a child's meal and the size of the chicken fillet on the paprika chicken dish was paltry. Garlic bread starter overcooked so very crispy and slightly burnt. Have never had problems before so possibly an off day. Overheard on the way out the manager telling someone that there would be a 45 minute wait for food - not good when the place isn't even busy.

We often have breakfast here. It's great value as 2 children eat free with every paying adult. The breakfast consists of extensive continental buffet (around 8-9 cereals, toast, crumpets, pancakes, bagels, flapjack, pastries, fruit, yoghurts, jams etc. Porridge can be ordered. Then a cooked breakfast, made to order. Eggs cooked all ways. Really lovely staff, always friendly and helpful. We visit occasionally for meals and always enjoy the food. Good quality and cooked and presented perfectly. More expensive than other pub chains but you do feel like you are getting what you're paying for.

Consistency throughout the Beefeater chain means that you know what you will get most of the time. Food is very good and staff generally friendly and helpful. Only gripe would be that the beer (bitter as opposed to lager) is limited in choice and the Doom Bar that I had was not up to the usual standard. The restaurant is attached to the Premier Inn hotel which is located right next to the M6 and therefore very conveniently located for journeys up and down the motorway.

Stayed a few days for business and eat at the Beefeater. Let me tell you, David (GM) and the team were fantastic! One night I got back very late around midnight and David wouldn’t let me go to bed on an empty stomach and russelled me up a great meal and pint. Absolutely top man and the food is the best I have had by far. Thank you David and your team!

My experience of Beefeaters it that is OK. Not great, not bad. Just OK. There is lots of parking and a smart yet friendly atmosphere. The waiters were a bit new and made a few mistakes, but nothing major. The main problem is that the food was just OK. I have been there 3 or 4 times now, tried the steak, mixed grill and ribs. None of it blew me away. It tasted fine, but it was quite expensive for food that is just fine. Would I choose to go back there of other options were available? No. If friends were going and asked if I wanted to come along, I would, but I would honestly rather get a kebab takeaway for a tenth of the price and a better taste.

This is attached to the Premier Inn Preston East. The food is OK for a budget hotel chain offering. However the staff are excellent and always aim to please. There's a large car park so no issues there and located just of junction 31A on the M6. There's a large function room available ideal for parties and corporate events.

Had late lunch/early tea with the wife and kids (2&4). I has the double steak and bacon burger, wife had veggie burger, the kids had chicken nuggets and burger respectively. Called in last saturday about 6pm, got a table straight away. Had fillet stakes cooked to perfection, then apple and blackberry crumble. The whole experience was A1 !! Very handy location although can be difficult to find as satnav takes you on a wild goose chase getting here. Inside is nicely decorated, laid out and clean. Breakfast options are good as you would expect from a beefeater chain although this one is better than a number of others I've been in.

It's basically a very expensive wetherspoons and I am only giving it 3 stars because I had a 40% off voucher. We went on a Saturday afternoon and literally were the only ones there. The service was okay and the food was alright but I would be upset if I was paying nearly £13 pound for Hunters Chicken and chips. In 2018 there are so many better offers available and generally the place has a vibe of a chain about to go under. If your staying in the premier inn next door and dont want to drive anywhere then it makes sence, if you don't it doesn't.
