Went there in August, making a booking before hand. The owner, Mr Rana, was very courteous, polite, and was taking interest in his guests on individual tables. He was interacting with every-one of the guests and making sure that they were happy. Its this kind of personal touch which makes a restaurant stand out of the crowd. The restaurant itself was quite big and had excellent interiors and beautiful decor, and plenty of free parking. The food was delightful, the starters were modified to our taste and the curries were excellent. The plates for main course had been decorated with each plate decorated differently. The food could be compared to a Michelin star restaurant without the expensive price tag. Each of the dishes was bursting with genuine Indian flavours and each bite would leave you wanting for more. The food was reasonably priced and the portions were more than sufficient. We would definitely go there when we visit Preston again!

First time visiting this restaurant and wow what can I say.. it’s great. Everything about this place is class from the furnishings the atmosphere the attentive and friendly staff to the amazing food. Will definitely be going back and if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out, give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

Not been since before Covid and the rebranding from the Cumin. So wanted to go back with the family. Place is excellent. Has been redecorated inside so looking nice, the food was excellent and the staff are very friendly, professional and polite. So had a lovely evening meal out. I'd recommend this restaurant to eat in or as a takeaway and will be going again.

An excellent evening, celebrating a friends 50th. The buffet food was absolutely amazing. First class ,tasty, fantastic attentive staff during the evening too. We all had a great night, there was 46 of us. So highly recommended.

Hi the food was not all that. Went for a mates birthday so it was a buffet, maybe that was the reason. The staff was unprofessional and standing and staring at customers and taking pictures and videos. It was unpleasant to watch. That made the atmosphere un enjoyable.

Second visit here the last time was meeting friends. It was busy being Diwali but the standards and more importantly the quality of the food could only be compared to the best Indian restaurant we have visited. First time here since our relocation and it certainly won't be the last. We both ordered off the early menu where there was no skimping on portion size or quality. My choice was a usual Chicken Madras and wow what flavours with just the right heat which doesn't always happen in other establishments. Service was first class and thank you for a lovely meal. Called in here on the way home from Preston (forgetting it was Valentine's). The very friendly staff soon accommodated us and we had a very enjoyable evening. The food is amazing. This was our first visit, but we will be back for more.

A family members 21st, nine of us dining. The service and food was excellent. We had brought a surprise cake and the staff were more than happy to help, even lighting the candles and bringing it to the table singing Happy Birthday. Would definitely recommend for family gatherings.

On arrival I was pleased to see an Asian family dining, always a good sign. The service was fast and when my friend couldn't decide between prawn and lamb, they cooked a mixture of those for him. I went for my staple in a new (to me) restaurant of lamb balti with a garlic naan and a chapati. It was delicious with many subtle flavours. I can honestly say I have never eaten a better dish. I asked to meet the chef and was both surprised and pleased to find that he was a young man. Long may he reign! The food was expensive, but, even so I will be back.

Had a lovely meal for our anniversary, staff were very good, food was lovely and real authentic Indian with fresh spices (I was brought up by an Indian family, although I am not Indian myself). The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. The food is fairly average. I've certainly been to much better curry houses with more modern and exciting menus. It's not bad for a local place but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

A great place for takeout! The food is consistently made to a high standard and the portions are fair. We collected an order on new year's eve (like our 300th order) and the young man on the desk was super polite, pleasant and helpful!

Ordered from here for the first time tonight after it getting high recommendations. I have a food intolerance and when I order from anywhere I always stress for my food to be cooked without it! My container came with writing on it stating it was free from it. Started eating it trusting it was right to discover my food was laced! On their website it says please state any dietary requirements and I stated very clearly and they ignored it but thought writing in black pen on my food saying it didn't contain it would correct their error. Thank you for making me unwell I will not be returning! So so careless. Luckily I'm not highly allergic just highly intolerant or this could of been far worse for someone else.

The food is fab and at a good price too. On a few occasions when my wife has come the top man has made her a special curry that is really tasty and not to hot. We go at least three times a month and we are always welcomed by the owner and all his staff.we have recommended many friends who also think the food is excellent.

We absolutely love this place!! The food is always exceptional - we travel from the other side of Preston just to come, passing several other Indian restaurants on the way! The main reason we return is not only the food but the service - there is one waiter in particular, and we do not even know his name just know him as "Willow's favourite man" (Willow being our 4 year old daughter) He keeps the children entertained and makes eating out a fun experience for children, and a relaxing one for the adults. Keep up the good work Sylhet and we will keep coming back 😊

Great food, friendly helpful staff, perfect for families. We took our children on a Tuesday, we had Tali (they do a great vegetarian version and super price, even let you take home what you can't manage if you ask nicely!). Kids had child's portion of chicken tikka masala, and fish fingers and chips they even gave us tomato sauce, though the youngest enjoyed dipping their naan bread in their masalla sauce! A great meal, great service we felt really looked after I can't speak more highly they are very accommodating and the kids loved it, they even got a vimto lolly on the way out!! We'll definitely be going again!!
