Went to Tang for our daughters birthday. I have to say, firstly the staff are fabulous, the lovely guys were so helpful and happily took the surprise birthday cake and candles to 'hide' them while we had the meal. The service was 2nd to none, there was table wiping between every course and the staff made sure all was good for us. The food... Omg the crispy seaweed is to die for and the fillet steak hubby had was amazing. At the end of the meal, the young staff member brought out the cake, with the candles on and lit for us, happy birthday playing in the background... All in all I would highly recommend Tang restaurant for an eat in meal. Thanks to the staff who helped the birthday celebrations go to plan.

So impressed by this place. Service was outstanding, our server was super friendly and made us feel welcome. And the food was on point - we had a few plates of dim sum and they were all fresh, delicious, flavourful. Couldn't fault it. Would recommend it to anyone and we'll definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic 👏. The food is excellent great choices and backed up with brilliant service from people who excel in their rapport with their customers. Very reasonable prices and the portions are quite stomach busting so excellent value for money. The surroundings that we dined in are simple yet comfortable, to which I complemented the staff on. My wife and I will definitely return to try other choices on the menu and to once again enjoy the hospitality of the staff 😀 😊

Friendly and helpful staff with excellent food and at a very reason price. You will need a phone with you to scan a qr code to get the menu if you haven't already downloaded it. I found this to be a very practical way to avoid multiple people handling the menus. Beer choice is some what limited but this is not such a bad thing. It is a very clean and tidy place to eat which should be noted and recognised. It also appears to be popular among the local Chinese community which also proves to be a positive sign.

BUT this has to be the best ever, order ever ordered, absolutely delicious, exactly like I would ask for if could do. Never go anywhere else, tang is the Chinese restaurant to order your food from. Tangs really is the best Chinese in Preston (possibly the north west). The food is well priced and you get a LOT for what you pay for. The staff are kind, there to help you whenever and will even help explain things on the menu if needs be. Tangs is my go to place for a Chinese in Preston 👍🏼

Been hit and miss over three visits in as many months. Absolutely loved it the first time, had a bit of less flavourful food the second time and then absolutely abominable service tonight. And yes, tonight was valentine's day, but I swear it was NOT a busy night - we have had better service on busier visits. The staff team don't communicate between themselves or have very good situational awareness. My meals we delicious but other half had flavourless chicken & sweetcorn soup and watery tasting curry. We really loved this place on first visit but we'd choose somewhere else over this now.

We have come here often now and with the situation we are all in ( COVID -19 ) Tang Restaurant was outstanding. Everything is covered, temperatures are taken of everyone who enters and face masks and face shields worn by all staff. ( I could not wear them as long as the staff ) There are plastic separating screens around every table and everything looked very clean. The food came quick, very nice and hot and the customer service was amazing as usual 10/10 thank you Tang Restaurant

Had takeaway from here three times now, the food is always awesome, no matter what you order. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. There's loads of choice on the menu, plenty to keep you going back for more. The salt n pepper aubergine is an unexpected gem, and sweet n sour anything is delicious. Can't recommend this highly enough, will be going back soon to try some more new flavour combinations. :-)

Amazing food, really friendly staff members, great service and great range of dishes to choose from on the menu- I would highly recommend that you visit Tang. I went as a large group (about 20) and this wasn't a big problem for them. They served a little banquet of dishes to share between a group and there was plenty of food to go round at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately there isn't a great range of place to park and you have to spend more than £10 to be able to pay on card so make sure you take money if you are buying drinks individually.

We came here for our daughters 13th birthday. We originally booked a table but on the day of the meal the restaurant called me and offered us the karaoke room free of charge. Where not singers but agreed as it may be fun. It turns out to be a great night. Staff came upstairs when we pressed the bell for drinks and then food orders. The salt and peppers wings were delicious. We ordered chicken satay, chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, salt and pepper king prawns, crispy beef. All the meals were delicious. We were worried we hadn’t ordered enough but we had and even took some home. The bill came to about £90 which was for 6 people and included at least 8 soft drinks and 8 beers. The karaoke machine was easy to use once the waiter explained it. We all had fun even though we can’t sing to save our lives. There was another group of people in the other karaoke room and they were definitely going for it. Great night and will go back for sure.

Fantastic place with great food that offers something a bit different. Seating is good with a nice choice and a bit of privacy too (you're not sitting elbow to elbow with other customers). Clean and comfortable restaurant. Great menus with good knowledge from staff. Ask to see the chinese menu for something a bit different ;) Dessert was a steamed bun but custard inside was just wrong consistency..runny and sugar hadn't been mixed correctly but the staff did say it was supposed to be like that ;)

Great food in plain surroundings. Good mix of food. Western Chinese menu and Chinese Chinese menu in English. Inspired. How many times in a Chinese restaurant in the UK watching Chinese folk eating tasty stuff that clearly wasn't on the English menu. We had dumplings and soft shell crab. Followed by fish fillet and tofu in a Szechuan spicy sauce. Choi sum, lotus root and steamed rice. Everything good. Great service, loads of staff paying attention. Good atmosphere. Very casual. From pigs intestine and duck tongues to sweet and sour pork with half and half chips and rice. Everyone happy! Brilliant. First visit. Won't be the last.

Preston has a pretty large Chinese student population, and you could do far worse for recommendations than watching where they choose to eat. And from what I can see, they eat at Tang. I spent Chinese New Year here. The atmosphere was lively, the staff were friendly, and the food was the best Chinese I've had in a long time - quite possibly since Hong Kong. And you can order to take away, to boot. There are Karaoke rooms upstairs too. They're pretty good as Karaoke goes, but it's really not my thing. Perhaps I just wasn't drunk enough!

You have a vast range of dim sum and starters to choose from including dishes you wont find in 95% of other Chinese restaurants in the area. Mains are also varied. My only fault after 8 visits is the number of times some items arent available and a slight fall in consiatancy. Having said that its still my recommendation for a Chinese restaurant in Lancashire
