Hmm what to say... I think I will be honest like always and I have to say that this place it's definitely overpriced. You can get better food around in this price range. Inside decor just ok but nothing special. Thai dishes just average and I have never seen fine chopped lemon grass inside any dish in my life. Soup tastes like canned coconut milk .. and beef fried rice contains only few pieces of beef. It's not bad review.. just wake up call to maybe change things around? I will rate this place as average...

The nicest, freshest Thai I have ever had in the UK, superb quality, the vegetables have crunch and taste fresh and the chicken is always perfectly done as with the duck, portion sizes are huge, if not a big eater 1 curry/1 noodle dish is enough for 2 as is the rice! I always got this Thai as a takeaway, delivery was always on time or early and food still very hot.

A small restaurant owned by a lovely Thai couple. We had Thai spring rolls, prawn toast, stir fried chicken with basil and chill rice, beef noodle soup, all of them are authentic and tasty. But the rice dish is a bit too spicy for us. Happy to find a hidden gem, we will happily return : )

Randomly found this place whilst wandering around the town. Ordered a cup of Thai milk tea. Very authentic flavour 😍 Love it. It’s in a huge cup as well!

Food arrived really quickly however I didnt like the taste of the food. It was plain minus the chilli and was oily. I didnt find the menu very detailed and I clearly just ordered some cabbage and basil noodles as nothing else was going on! I paid extra for king prawns but there wer only 3 in the soup and seemed less in the noodles too.

I am not a takeaway food connoisseur, so I don't go out often. But I love good food that has a balanced flavour and great seasoning. I've been to Thai Royal several times and will be coming back, because their vegetables are full of colour (not overcooked), their sauces are very flavourful and seasoned well. Thai Royal gives justice to Thai food. Exceptional!

My favourite takeaway in Preston. I don't like spending much on food usually but with Thai Royal it's worth it. Packed full of vegetables so although it might not be as healthy as home cooking, it's definitely better for you than fast food.

If you're looking for the most legit Thai food in town, look no further. We had the Pad Thai Gai and Tom Yum fried rice. Both were on point; Pad Thai was made with tamarind sauce and Tom Yum fried rice flavours were well balanced with plenty of lemongrass and fried basil.

Thought id try cause never had Thai food before, had the Pad Kee Mao with the mix meat, 9.65 altogether, but not worth it, very mushy noodles like lasagne sheet strips, and Asked for cutlery told its there but no cutlery, handy if u need a quick bite but wouldnt go again

I've tried most of the dishes here and I've never had a bad meal. Not being able to decide what to get every time you visit is not a bad problem to have. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating in making your meal right for you ie spice levels and dietary requirements.

The BEST Thai food I have eaten. I have either green, golden, or red curry and they are all amazing. Everything is fresh, hot, and tasty. Good selection of soft drinks. This is the first place I go to when I visit Preston. If I could, I would eat here every day.

This place does amazing authentic Thai food which has the most amazing flavour. Just be careful if you ask for it hot it will be super hot, this ain't Nando's (there is also an extra hot spice level which I can only imagine involves setting the customer on fire). But even the spice you can taste everything and just can't stop eating until it's all gone.

Great place, small eat in area as expected from noodles bar, food is claimed Thai but I think there is obvious Chinese influence. Food it self is good taste, potions are rather small, prices are OK, but not definitely cheap.

Some of the Thai food in this place are nice i.e., tomyum fried rice, Pad Thai & chicken noodle soup. These are the few dishes I tend to order when I visit Thai Royal. The price for food is alright for a Thai restaurant/take away, roughly about £7 - £9 for a tomyum fried rice. They do serve bubble tea but the taste varies depending on who prepares it.
