l. c.Ordered Pie, mushy peas and gravy. Pie and gravy really nice but the peas were tinned mushy peas. Would have been perfect if the peas had been proper mushy peas.
Also bought TWO "Coffee Renoirs", sorry to say they were AWFUL, with a capital A. They were NOTHING at all like the picture or description which said: chocolate topped choux pastry filled with custard.
The filling was infact a slightly coffee flavoured buttercream, no custard in sight. I broke off a little piece of the "choux pastry" to try it and that wasn't nice either. Needless to say both cakes went in the bin.
The Meat & Potato pie & gravy were nice and sandwiches are really nice and would buy both again. But the "Coffee Renoirs" I would avoid like the plague unless you really like buttercream. I do have a pic of one of the "cakes" and would post if I could.
