The place looks very beautiful. It gives great vibes and shares nice Indian notes. Food is tasty, portions are good. I can't eat too spicy food and was afraid checking out the place, but, I want to tell you, that you can find different level of spiciness here even suitable for people like me! One of my colleagues working in Reading had suggested this place. I wanted to eat authentic Hyderabadi Biryani and the taste here of Biryani was awesome. The taste was unique and simply awesome with authentic dum biryanis. Good taste of Kebabs & especially Tandoori chicken and Guntur Chicken.If you are planning to visit Reading, then don't go back without eating Biryani in Biryani mama.

Great Restaurant for Non Veg lovers. I will recommend this to all my friends in Reading. Their authentic taste has had me visit their restaurant nearly every day since they have opened. Service is very good and the people in there are always welcoming. The best restaurant to spend quality time with friends and try Indian Non Veg dishes. I also love the ambience of the restaurant and the location is a cherry on top. 10/10.

Great authentic food and good service. We were served by Anupama. She suggested a few dishes which turned out to be excellent. Most importantly they worked out the spices balance well for the kids order resulting in everyone enjoying the food. Definitely worth returning!

Biriyani Mama serves excellent South Indian fare true to the native flavours. Service is top notch with Kalyan and Dikshit and each of the dishes have their unique flavour. Biriyanis are quite flavoursome and chicken and lamb starters are very tasty. Generous portion sizes and a warm ambience. Your search for a wholesome Andhra/ Tamil cuisine ends here !! Authentic South Indian food. Delicious and fresh. We were among the first customers in week 1 and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. Egg curry and parotta was delish. Will be coming back with the family!

New restaurant called biriyani mama opened in Reading town centre and just opposite to Metro bank . The food was very very delicious, particularly chilly chicken and mutton curry . I never ever tasted such a mouth watering flavour in whole of town centre . I would 100% Recomend this restaurant.

I ordered via Too Good To Go, for collection. The layout of the restaurant is nice, friendly front of house staff members. Whilst the rice was spiced nicely, I was unfortunately unable to eat the whole dish, much to my disappointment. Hidden under the rice, was a chicken wing (I think!), a chicken thigh and oddly, a hard boiled egg that was deshelled. Apart from nearly eating a chicken bone, I couldn't eat much, as the chicken with was extremely pink under the skin, which put me off as it looked like it wasn't fully cooked. One pot of sauce that came with it was really nice, the other, I can only describe as an extremely watered down coleslaw mix. It was just a bit strange. I'd return but in the future, I'd only get a vegetarian one, never meat for fear of food poisoning now. If I was to be charged the full price (£15 according to Too Good To Go), I'd be infuriated.

If someone want to eat authentic Delhi wala taste..Biryani Mama is the place to go..For long we were missing authentic North Indian taste of Paneer and finally we found it @ Biryani Mama..Staff is very polite and respectful..Loved this place ..will visit soon again.
