Im so glad i found this place! I was really ecstatic to learn they have lots of choices for chicken, especially their chicken gizzards topped with plum seasoning and seaweed. 😍 We also ordered their chicken skin. It did not disappoint! I’m looking forward to order again from them 😁
Update: so i went back yesterday and ordered Chicken Gizzard again with my friend and we tried their Milk tea. Glad i suggested this place, my friend loved their chicken gizzard as well 😋.

Absolutely amazing chicken and fries here. The fries are unbelievably crunchy and tasty. £3 but you get a lot of them. The chicken breast is amazing, I get the thai seasoning and garlic seasoning. You pay about £7.50 for the chicken but be warned, it is huge (see photo). Can be quite expensive for lunch but well worth it. Wish there was more of these around! One suggestion to management is a smaller portion menu so you can have a cheaper, smaller meal. And the current menu is very confusing.

The portions are huge but on the pricier side. The popcorn chicken was crispy and tender, whilst the volcanic cheesy chicken (it's a Kiev) was heavy and filling. Cold black bubble Tea was fantastic.
The only gripes I have with the place is that I requested chips without the sickeningly sweet plum seasoning but the gentlemen making my order put in the plum seasoning regardless. If you like sweet chips, you'll probably love it, but not for me.
Also, whilst I appreciate that greaseproof paper bags are cheaper, they're not as convenient to eat from, especially if you're having condiments of any sort with the chips.
Overall, I'd say it's worth checking out.

Nice new addition to Reading, worth trying. I felt choosing up to 3 seasonings for everything ordered was a bit too complicated, especially for new customers (didn't taste too different anyway) it would be a lot easier to cook with recommended seasoning. Portions are very big! I personally don't recommend fried lotus root - too oily.

Nice addition to Reading area; freshly made to order. I tried the Crispy Chicken Breast, and was such a large piece and got the recommended chilli and garlic seasoning. I would come back and recommend to others.

Very good fried chicken, a lot better than usual chicken shops. The plum fries are interesting and different worth a try if not the fries are crispy and tasty without the plum. Quite expensive for fried chicken but portions are large and ingredients are fresh justifying the price. I went for chicken thighs with garlic and chilli, the meat was juicey, flavourful and crispy while fresh.

Great place, unique menu. I would recommend it to anyone enjoy kfc or fired chicken. Authentic Chinese taste and its halal 🥰. However do prepare to spend twice as much as kfc these guys are pricey hence 4 not 5 stars. That said, I will be visiting soon again

It was so good!!! Chicken is the perfect blend between juicy and crispy. Fries have their own sweetness, coated with some amazing seasoning. Hits the spot!
