Food is served sizzling hot and fresh from the grill to your plate. Was met by a lovely young lady today and another pleasant man who greeted everyone with a smile saying “Nice to see you,” he Hi fived the kids, etc. It seems like a very friendly family joint as a lot of customers had kids. But I guess given the location and as it was the weekend, it’s to be expected. I can’t wait to go back!😋

Enjoyed a very pleasant Sunday roast dinner of gammon and turkey with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, green beans, carrots and parsnips with gravy. Delicious and excellent value and service to celebrate my sister and brother-in-law's 51st wedding anniversary. Recommend.

Great place for brunch, the English breakfast was plentiful. I had the poached eggs on toast, they were lovely fresh eggs, poached to perfection☺️Been here twice now when we have visited Twyford and would definitely go back again - shame we live so far away ☹️

Always a fantastic time. Staff are welcoming and warm, and the La Fontana Pilsner is a great choice of beer. Small issue with the spinach on the Prima (I think) pizza being rather soggy, but everything else was spot on.

Would have got 4 stars but I hate service charges added to bills tips should not be added and paid by choice. Meatballs were nice the other people had penny with chicken it was nothing special so it was a lot of money for a bit of pasta.

We love la fontana and have been going for years. The staff and owner are always very friendly and the food is so fresh. I even have them make an off the menu pizza as I like it extra spicy. Definitely recommend.

One of the best in Twyford! We came here during the week for a meal out. The staff were extremely friendly and greeted us when we walked in. The selection of food is incredible. Had takeaway last night, which was good in parts and bad in others. my Chicken pasta was great, but the side of chilli potato taspas was awful basically old warmed up potatoes in a sort of tomato slop with a few peppers... I have had this dish before and it has been lovely , the potatoes wore fried and crispy and the sauce was great.. last night was not a patch on this. Also ordered a butterflied chicken dish sadly this leaked out of the container.. it came with some fresh veg that were overcooked . Have to say the chips were good.. and the whole thing was very hot.. maybe I was just unlucky with the tappas....

Nice restaurant, good food and good portion sizes. Parking for disabled no problem with spaces at the side and rear of the building all within easy hobbling distance. Inside is nice and bright and earphone friendly. I didn't need to switch mine to restaurant mode and could hear the waitress and join in the conversation. Excellent value for money as my son paid the bill.

I LOVE the staff here. They are always really smiley, happy to help, or chat. The food is fantastic. The restaurant is stylish, always smells great and has a great atmosphere. If you're a party of 2-4 ask to sit around the back of the restaurant - they have really soft leather arm chairs. The views aren't great, but in the centre of twyford, what do you expect? They really look after their regulars, and even remember what you ordered before. Lovely staff!

This is a local family owned and run restaurant where service is always personal, friendly and you are remembered from your previous visits. We love this place as a regular breakfast spot and have had great Sunday roasts as well here. It is popular in the village for family events due to their accommodating nature to customer requests, a family friendly menu, central location and parking.

Great pizza! Always come here over Christmas. Has a good atmosphere and the staff are lovely. If you've got children this a welcoming place - there is a children's menu which is reasonably priced. Will be visiting again!

Friendly staff that really care for your service whilst serving great food. They told us when it is best to book when it is quiet as one of us has had trouble with hearing and requires hearing aids. They introduced us to the quietest area possible and even asked us if the background music needer lowering (thankfully it was fine). They provide a great variety of quality food, ours was deliclious.

This restaurant really known how to earn a presence in the heart of the locals. The staff are always friendly, and the food is consistent, affordable, and delicious! I regularly take the family for Pizza during the week, occasionally have a working lunch with a guest or two, and even celebrated our anniversary last Friday with a lovely bottle of Red and some mussels in white wine and garlic sauce. Delicious! Superb, a must visit!

The food that I had was gorgeous but I think the menu design and approach to dietary options could benefit from a few updates. It was quite hard being vegetarian there let alone those who may be vegan where sadly I don't think there was an option. A simple update to the exisisting menu putting (Vg) next to the Vegetarian options would be very helpful so that you dont have to spend time reading everything to see whether it is vegetarian or not. Those (Vg) or other symbols that other restaurants have make it so much easier to scan the menu and see what you can have. It would be greatly appreciated to have an updated menu.
