Delicious halal food the palmyra mix grill humous shawarma, Batata Harrah is a must and their chicken wings was mouthwatering and a complimentary rice pudding dessert was so silky smooth just melts in your palate. The atmosphere is so nice and welcoming and decor is very subtle. overall this is a must place and definitely will be coming back again. the waitress that served us was superb sorry i forgot to catch your name but the service was fantastic.

Excellent Middle Eastern diner with plenty of choices for authentic Lebanese dishes to indulge in ! Tried mixed grill, chicken shawarma, grilled lamb burger, & fetta salad. Ended it with kunafa & Turkish coffee. Balkava was free 😋 Great for families & the price is reasonable. People are friendly and the place is clean.

We went there for the 1st time on Valentine’s Day, reserved table for 2 adults and baby pram in advance. Table reserved for us and but staff didn’t assist us with moving chair for pram to fit in. Atmosphere was busy, and not pleased with the timing of food arrival. Drink came 30min later. Ordered starters: Chicken wings and Houmous with Shawarma, which came 45 min later. 5 mins later, we got mains. Which made us rush our starters and not enjoy it. As we didn’t want our main to get cold. Ordered mixed grill for mains. Chicken wings were delicious and well seasoned and grilled. Loved it. Houmous with their own bread was nice and fresh. Mixed grill: lamb cubes lacked a bit of seasoning and the chicken cubes were on the dry side. Sheesh kebab was tasty with the rice. Customer service was okay. Staff at the front was friendly, however quite a delay in food and timings issue. Restaurant seemed to be busy with increased delivery order, and only 1 staff at the front dealing with phone, taking orders from customers in restaurant, serving, cleaning table, preparing drinks etc. Overall, it’s an okay experience.

Opted to dine in with 4 of us in total. Order taken within reasonable time. We enjoyed the food (Palmyra mixed grill, Kafta Halabieh & Lamb shank served with minced rice). The portions were generous and so good value for money. Staff were friendly & offered us baklava at the end. Areas to improve: * Free bread & dips were offered the same time as the main meal - would have preferred it served earlier whilst the main meal was cooking. * Also, some parts of each dish were served cold.

Amazing food. I would recommend. Staff are friendly and courteous. The menu has loads of options. If you’re in a rush, grab the wraps - shish taouk is the go to for me if it’s late. To sit in, the grills are great - served with rice/vermicelli or chips, alongside bread and a salad. Batata Harra and Lamb Hummus are incredible.

This is one of my favourite restaurant in Reading to eat. Though we are vegetarian and got less number of options than non veg but ambience and food quality attracts me a lot. Food is amazing. also, must say the lady working there (staff) is a sweetheart. She is very friendly, sweet and welcoming. I wish I could know her name but next time for sure. Thanks wish you luck 👍

This is solely as low as it is because their time-keeping is appalling. I have never had an order within 30 minutes of when it should have been ready, even when (as right now) I am collecting it. It is a massive shame because the food is the best Lebanese food in the area by an absolute stretch. Just be mindful of it if you’re a fan of good timekeeping.

Loved the fresh food. We had halloumi wrap, falafel wrap, cold meze, chips and mango lassi. Everything was fresh and tasted perfect. The staff was pretty friendly and the service was quick. Will definitely keep visiting.

I've only had this place as takeaway, but I've had it many times and it's been super delicious every time. Food arrives hot and doesn't seem to lose any quality. Tastes delicious, high quality meat and especially the mixed grill is great. Good portion sizes too. Look forward to going to the actual restaurant once lockdown is over!

I have ordered from this place at least 10x and each time I order their excellent Palmyra Mixed Grill which I absolutely love! It is great value and all the food is always fresh which is really important. The service is extremely good. I recently placed an order and when I arrived home, I realised that part of the order was missing. When I called the restaurant, the manager was very quick to rectify the mistake which was very professional of them and certainly didn't deter me from ordering again. I would highly recommend this place if you love Lebanese food!

Not great. Teenager at the till playing on phone not really bothered in serving customers. Got a lamb wrap I ask for salad and no onions. It Came just completely plain. Staff not interested in working here, Food it not only about taste, atmosphere is also really important

If your looking for fresh clean food....I would highly recommend this restaurant. We were staying at The Penta Hotel....and noticed this restaurant in the day across the road. After a long evening meeting up with family we were hungry. The restaurant was still open and the staff were very welcoming. Great food! Great service! And definitely value for money.
