Has had a complete transformation, now even better than ever. Great customer service and the owner was very generous with extra sauces unlike the previous owner. We were so impressed by the service and the food presentation and the food was delicious and can't wait to go again. Great work guys keep up the great work.

Trust me when I say these guys can cook, they really take it to next level. My chicken was done by Ali bhai and it was done to perfection. I go here at least once a week. I must mention new guy ( I guess owner) sorry don't know the name but really nice person and greets you with smile. I can never choose another shop for quality piripiri chicken. 10/10👍

Hussain was very good. It was packed when I went there, with deliveroo orders and that annoying Just Eat order thing going off. My big thing I was impressed with was my chicken was "well done". I have been to other peri peri restaurants where there was blood in the chicken.

First time ordered from Rooster on the London road. I must say the service and food was top quality. I placed the order on Deliveroo and soon after called the resturant to ask for some changes to sauces selection on my chicken platter. Ali who is the branch manager took my call and ensured that I get I requested and the food arrived a lot earlier than expected. Tip: go for peri peri fries and add extra portion of wings you wil not regret.

Great service! I ordered some food via Uber Eats and after delivery I realised a bottle of diet coke was missing. I called Roosters and asked them if it could be replaced (let's be honest, many places would have told you to contact the delivery platform) and they offered to give me a free bottle with extra chips and sauces on top! Food is delicious too.

The chicken isn't really grilled, it's precooked and they just use the grill for warming it up, at least that's the case with chicken burger. Generally good tasting food though. I find even the lemon and herb is spicy. They can get orders mixed up when they're busy so check before you leave the store.

The shop itself is quite small but there is seating available, Reading College is vary close so you have to consider that lunch times during term time are going to be vary busy, which that are. The food you get is vary good quality, but can take a bit of time for the staff to cook your food not matter how many people are in the shop. It doesn't help that the tea I have been there that there have been only 1 or 2 members of staff working.

I have been here several times with my children and have always enjoyed the food, visiting here today we were greeted by possibly the most misserable young girl serving, she did not smile or great us, she took our order looking as though she hated being there, she served our food without saying anything and did not even bring cutlery, my point is if you don't like serving people do something else.

Sometimes I go there to get Chicken wings but they aren't wings, they sell niblets and the size is too tiny. Other Roosters sell proper wings which these guys need to learn.

If you are after piri piri chicken forget nandos roosters piri piri is spot on, they do various levels of spice from garlic to very hot and pretty much do all the favourites from wraps, fillet burgers to buckets of chicken, whole chickens and halfs. Please be aware it can get quite busy and as the unit is very small there is not much room for eating in so take away is the best option
