Having never visited Slamburger before, I kept my mind open and was pleasantly surprised with the food. Everything was genuinely very tasty, not to mention the epic price point! We tried: Original doner £- I can’t lie but the doner meal was actually better than @gdk and that’s coming from someone who loves gdk. This doner wasn’t greasy or oily, nor did the meat taste cheap or off. The doner was clearly of very good quality and was made with perfection. Spicy doner £- This was genuinely spicy- actually bomb but the original doner has my heart. The bread was soft and fresh, the salad was just the right ratio, the sauces complemented the doner well and the cheese made this meal top tier. Algerienne wings £2.69-why haven’t I had these before please? These were absolutely exquisite. The wings were fat and juicy and perfectly crispy. Those of you who have tried the algerienne sauce know that it tastes magnificent. Buffalo wings £2.69-Not a fan of buffalo wings, but again these surpassed my expectations. I thought they’d be mega spicy but it had just the right amount of tang and spice. Chocolate/strawberry milkshake £2.59- I barely ever order milkshake bc I don’t like it, but this has converted me. It wasn’t too thick, but creamy enough to taste damn good. Halal status: Fully halal Service: 5/5. The main man, brother Zain who is an absolute OG made my experience run very smoothly. He knows exactly what he is doing and is quite clearly passionate about his business. I hope this business does very well إن شآء الله!

So popped into Slamburger today to give it a try after seeing it open up along Christchurch Road, the inside of the fast food takeaway restaurant is very nice and very professional looking l beautiful toilets, ordered the double peri peri burger meal today have to say it's packaging is very professional which is nice too see a lot of thought has obviously gone into how they deliver the product. The fries were very good not unlike McDonald's and certainly at the better end of the quality scale, I found the peri peri burger not so great when compared to others within the area, could hardly taste any of the spice it if I'm to be honest, chicken thou was well cooked and fairly tasty, not so sure about having those dreadful cheese slices on a peri peri fillet burger but that was my mistake for not taking notice of the menu. My only real negative which stoped me from giving it 5 stars is that one they are only currently taking cash and two the prices when compared to others within the area are slightly inflated, maybe this is due to all the well thought out packaging?

I have to say the food is very good and everything on the menu is a winner. Especially the wings which are not only tasty but big too. The service was excellent mostly due to Chris he was helpful, polite and very efficient. Much better than a lot of the competition including the big names such as McDonald's.

Most amazing burger, chips and chicken nuggets I’ve had before! Such delicious sauces to go alongside it too. The menu is so extensive with so many different options. Can’t wait to try out the wraps next time. Highly highly recommend Slam Burger to everyone!

Amazing food, but even better service. As we took our food, they had forgotten to give us our burgers, but when we returned they were as friendly as can be and I could tell were genuinely apologetic. Nice place, the food tast sooo good especially the burgers 🍔 ofc. The service was quite fast and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. It’s my new favourite fast food place in Reading for sure. I don’t usually like burgers however the ones here are delicious; I recommend trying the double cheese egg✨ It’s also child friendly they have good range of options for children meals. However I would like to see them doing home delivery it would be much more convenient. Overall, I really recommend trying this place. Definitely coming back!

What a fantastic surprise this was. The food is reminiscent of McDonald's but definitely more flavoursome. Their sauces are also absolutely delicious especially the Algerian mayo. Definitely our new go-to for quick unadulterated fast food.

First visit to a halal burger joint. Very clever menu at fair price. My Big Wooper 🤪 was very nice but fries were a bit too salty for my taste and even my salt mad 13 year old. Would defo come again but ease up on the salt please guys 👌

Only dined in store several times but every time was left satisfied. For the burgers/warps they are decently filling for their price, but the key to their food lies in the quality and the variety. Every time I went to the store I got something different and every time I enjoyed the taste of the food. I can’t handle spice the best so having non-spice options is great for me. My friends need stores that are halal-friendly and this is one of them. The store is kept clean throughout the day(you won’t find the McDonalds bathroom experience here) and staff are nice. Overall, give it a chance over the big chains and you’ll find a store that gives you quality well worth the price and well worth revisits.

Alongside they such tremendous amount of pleasure from the taste, tons of good memories you can get when you visit with your friends or family. Very friendly staff they got, courtesy, best service quality in the area I can say. They get the customer satisfaction to the first priority. One has a dinner there, then it is very likely he's gonna end up being a regular client to the taste. Food choices are impeccable to the appetite for every single customer. Diversity sometimes can reflect the whole world of of nations. They have the taste and choice for everyone. All the food served in the shop is 100 percent HALAL, which sticks out amongst all other fast food restaurants, all the aware Muslim culture in the area is enjoying the visit there. Vegetarian, spicy choices are the best ones in Reading with no second thoughts. You are afraid of the allergy issues you have they have presorted outh them too. They are more careful with such delicate tastes of men and women that they advise you through the notices on the service desk when you wish to order something. So the food they have for you, guys, is well-planned and chosen ahead to meet your any potential needs. They have a really nice settings which would fit any type of occasions for the people wish to dine in. Besides, they also receive orders with Deliveroo, Uber, Just Eat services as well. Worth a try having some SLAMBURGER at home within all the members of the family as well. The location is the best, very nice quiet peaceful friendly environment, yet nicely social place with most of the bus route access. Why don't you get the bus, and have some from one of the best tastes in the world?!

Descent place to eat. They tried to be of.middle Eastern burger style and have a knick of that. I don't like their beef burger where they are using typical beef patie, beef burger is solely dependent on quality of meat and I haven't seen a good product so far in UK. Their chicken was fine but their products are too much loaded with sauces. So if I don't like sauces ask them not to load ur meal with sauce as they never ask.

Great place to eat! Clean and tidy diner. No overflowing bin, even through the place was busy! Didn't feel overcrowded at all. Very well managed! Delicious sections of burgers and healthy foods. Not bad, just remember this is not gourmet. It’s a knock off maccys so you get a floppy patty with good flavour and some decent sauces to be fair. Algerian and Big Up are surprisingly nice. DO NOT go near the chicken here - it’s not 100% breast it’s some sort of reconstituted mix of chicken meats. For the price point, you can’t really complain.

Nice store. Varied menu and friendly staff. I ordered a burger and fries and found the taste to be good. There is an opportunity to make a combo of your meal for 2 pounds, which makes the sides cheaper, but I don't particularly care for the soft drink selection. I think the prices are fair for the food being offered. Sometimes the card paying system may be down. It is generally announced with a notice sign at the door. However, it is good to check before ordering just in case. Tills only take cash orders and a self service screen is for card payments. This can be useful. However, there is only one screen, so the line can be longer than for a the cash tills. The waiting time may be a little longer than in similar shops and the place can get crowded fast, but overall it is not too much more. I think it feels like this because the shop is small. There are couches to sit while you wait for your order.

I mean it's not really all the hype, I bought a few wings and a chicken fillet burger, the wings were pretty decent. But what put me off was the burger which didnt really taste as good in terms of quality. And also taste, there wasn't as much taste. Would be good If the quality could be better. First time meeting up with family friend at Slamburger in Reading and trying the Mix Piri Chicken Burger Meal from the great looking menu, with 6 Algerian Chicken Wings(more than enough for 1 person). Absolutely tasty and fresh with the right amount of spicy sauces and heat. Great location, great set up inside with good seating and washing up after your delicious meal. If you're looking for a different kind of flavour and also being Halal makes this place a must, with family and friends. Well done to the staff who were friendly and accommodating. Today, 25/01/2022, was my first time buying from Slamburger in Reading. I have to say that I am very pleased with my food. Everything tasted amazing and was delivered in good time. My only minor criticism is that the food could have been hotter on arrival, as we are not very far away from the location. My guess, and it is purely a guess, is that perhaps my order was bagged up a little too early, whilst waiting for a delivery driver to pick it up? Nonetheless, I will definitely buy from Slamburger Reading again, may visit in person to be sure of a hot Wooper though.

The burger was lovely! With a little bit of heat to it to differentiate from the usual boring take away. Portion wise, you get what you pay for! The 360 was bigger than a small plate but every bite was something a little new. The steak itself has a lovely flame grilled taste to it. I’d recommend getting the burger on its own- the fries had a bitter after taste that I wasn’t keen on but that’s just my opinion. Milkshakes were great, without being overpoweringly sweet. Definitely coming back again… once the hype has died down a bit. Word to the wise, cash only! Enjoy!

I'd recommended this as a solid alternative to the mainstream fastfood. Great value - £8.50 gave us a light lunch for two. Burgers are ok, although it came to life when extra onion and ketchup was added. Generous sized icecreams, and the ability to add/remove items to your order however you like it. I'll be returning.

So finally been to slam burger after all the hype and here is the review. First of all very clean place , have a separate hand sink outside which is bonus and the turn around to clean tables is great and no rubbish so definitely plus point. Customer service Is excellent , I atteneted the store withy mum and my nephew I was served by IBRAHIM. Very child friendly and all questions about the menu were answered. So another bonus . Food is good , nice burgers.the complementary sauces are nice as well. I quite like their burgers.only thing I would say is hotwings are very spicy Flavour. Which is nice only of you can handle. Wouldn't recommend for kids. Nice place to grab quick bite with friends and family. Overall very positive experience and hope to have this place flourish in coming year keeping the standard same as they started. Well done 👍

Absolutely beautiful, the burgers are similar to McDonald's and Burger King, possibly the best halal beef/cheese burgers i have had in Reading as they have real flavour also their huge Algerian wings are a must try, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside loaded with Algerienne sauce. I visited with my family on a number of occasions this past week due to how delicious the food was, you will absolutely love this place and will be wanting more the minute you leave. It is An amazing family friendly place with tasty food and lots on the menu, something to suit everyone. The staff are very helpful, the restaurant is so clean and even things such as the variety of drinks available makes this restuarant so unique. I will be visiting regularly because I absolutely cannot stay away. And one last thing, if you visit you have to try The algerian wings, they will definitely hit the spot. Its an 11/10 for me!

I don't usually write reviews but after visiting Slamburger I had to. Firstly the customer service was brilliant. Served by welcoming and friendly staff upon entering. Secondly the food was absolutely delicious, a smart move incorporating McDonalds and Burger king style burgers and chips, yet having their own unique tasting burgers. Lastly, usually overlooked but the presentation and packaging was why I will give this an overall 5 star review. Plenty of sauces and cutlery without even having to ask. its the small things that matter and it looks like Slamburger really does care. Would definitely recommend!

Visited today for the first time. I ordered single cheese burgers and chicken burger meals. I noticed I was over charged and asked the man behind the till, that he has charged me for a double which he insisted that this is normal burger. When opening the food, it had 2 beef burgers which was why he charged me extra, I didn't appreciate him getting my order wrong. The chips were also very salty. The place is clean and tidy. My advice is please take people orders correctly. Thank you

Chicken fillet Burger 💯- Game changer in my opinion- It is a perfect chicken Burger and slighty spicy💥 which I like. Fries-got a little cold but tasted nice with portion was decent too. Dips: Alergian sauce: Many would love it and a few may hate it. I loved it. Big up sauce: Its nice tastes like Mcys big mac sauce but a lot give a hit of Thousand Island sauce. BBQ sauce: Standard cant go wrong with it. Visiting again soon with family and friends. Slam burger- way to go 👍🏻

Fresh, halal and hygienic but no originality other than eifle tower, otherwise just an halal version of McDonald’s and Burger King! Little advice: menu is unnecessarily complicated too many names for the same thing! Should Keep it simple.. Al ham dulilah for a MCD'S equivalent. The ONLY issue I have is the flexibility of payment. You can't buy anything via the their website or any other platform as they don't take card payments. You have to go in which is very Inconvenient during the cold months and covid. When you get there you have to use just 1 MACHINE mcds style to purchase with card. Cash at the till. There excuse, "issue with the franchise system" but I feel it's more than that. But other than that a bit slow. Some sort of order must be in place with tooo many people in the kitchen just staring down to the floor or doing nothing. If one is going to make food like mcds then work like mcds.
