Looks a little shabby outside but inside was comfortable. Excellent choice of Indian and Chinese food, friendly staff. We found all the food really tasty. Spice level a bit higher than those average takeaway. Meal for 6 with drinks under £120 so excellent value. Only downside is it can be truck to find parking nearby.

Having read previous reviews this restaurant is a bit marmite. This is an all you can eat restaurant with a wide choice of food. Indian and Chinese mainly but you could also eat chicken nuggets and chips too. Food was not bad, hot and freshly cooked. It could, however, do with a thorough clean in the dining area. Floors and tables were not best. Also the plates were stacked too high so were stone cold. Staff were good in removing used plates and replenishing knives and forks and drinks.

Great thing about this place is that the food turnover is constant so nothing you get is cold or been sitting there for long. It gets very busy so you really need to book to avoid the queues that are always there. Food as I've said is lovely, well presented and constantly renewed. Lots of choice to suit every taste and plenty of time to eat it. Drinks are average priced so all in all a great place to visit. Great also for large parties.

We were there for the special Bollywood night. We had an amazing night. The DJ was fabulous and he didn’t let us get bored even for a minute. Food was good - great variety. Was not impressed with the drinks counter - we were expecting a few cocktails or special drinks as advertised for the Bollywood night. We just had to settle with usual vodka/cranberry. I hope they improve on the drinks.

I often come here with the family and we have a great time. Today we had a party of 24 people and they happily accommodated us with no problems. The manager Surendra and his team are always super attentive, professional and polite. The food is top notch with a wide variety of veg and non-veg starters, mains and deserts on buffet so if you fancy Indian or Chinese then you should definitely go here as you will not be disappointed.

Visited last Friday Evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. I live nearby and have been here couple of times. But this time the experience was amazing than ever, maybe its due to the new ownership. We are vegetarians and knew there won't be too much in starters, but to our surprise when we spoke to the staff about it. They were happy to cook us 2 whole some dishes of fresh starters. They served us Chilli panneer and chilli potato which were truly delicious. Staff was friendly and courteous. They served us fresh cooked garlic naans on request. Dal makhani and matar paneer In main course were superb too. And all ended well with warm gulab jumans as desserts. Loved it. Will visit often now. Thanks for making our evening special.

This time veg food was good. We had multiple time outings at this place. Main attraction of the food 🥘 is starters for vegetarians they have Samosa, fries, pizza, manchurian, Chinese sea grass, 🍟 French fries. Some times they give Momos and paneer tikka. Lot of options for non vegetarian as well like chicken nuggets. They serve buffet evening meals. Opens only after 5pm. They serve various varieties of breads, naan and Parathas. Main course is pretty standard where you will see lot of curries for veg and non veg. Options for rice 🍚 include steamed rice, pulav yellow rice and fried rice. I saw some options for Thai as well. On dessert 🍮 side ice cream, gulab Jamun, cakes and candies were available. They also provide dishes in order like we asked for Baigan Bartha and it was nice. Place is good for parties and team outings. If you have a car 🚙 it has to be parked in near by streets. Restaurant is on main road so not much options available in the front.

Love this place. The salads are always fresh and there is so many starters, sometimes you have to go straight on to dessert! I have been there for many family birthdays and they always bring out a cake and candles! Highly recommended and as soon as they open after the quarantine, will be booking in as a family!

Great After the Renovation I was a little reluctant to go there for a meal out with friends due to the last experience before they had re-done the place. I have to say i was very pleased the way the staff greeted me and my friends explained to us about the changes they have made. It actually made us feel like we wasn't just a number. food was better not greasy like last time, and the final bill was what was expected. would definitely go again that's for sure. and i recommend everyone give it another try.

Been to a Sunday night buffet with friend and family. Fantastic ambience, food was nice, plenty of starter and dessert options in the Buffet, which made everyone appreciate. A very cosy and romantic place, little pricey but well worth the money. Been told by a friend that the items in the buffet has been reduced one third which I have seen from other uploaded photos. Waitrose car parking is the closest one otherwise off-street parking in the side road (time restrictions apply). Reservations not needed as this restaurant has got many tables.

Good restaurant if you like quantity over quality. Indian is very over cooked but the Chinese wasn't too bad. Desserts are excellent. No Italian food and told this is due to a menu change and Spanish food is not even close to authentic. Atmosphere excellent and so is service. It is what it is...

Unfortunately it's not like it used to be with a hugely reduced choice of dishes now. It was mediocre. There was obviously a large party eating at the same time who had a lot of children with them. I don't understand how the parents and staff could allow them all to run around the restaurant like they were in the soft play area without supervision or control. I love kids, don't think I could eat a whole one but would have given it a good go last night if the opportunity had arisen!!!

Cheap and cheerful buffet. Nothing is particularly high quality, however there is a huge choice and the service for drinks is very speedy and attentive. If you want a quick meal it’s ideal as the price allows you to eat only a little but not feel like you’ve wasted the all you can eat aspect.

Much of an improvement since 2017 and the food has greatly improved in taste, however still all the food is slightly on the bland side when it comes to spice but not in flavour. It's also a very good place for a family with small children.

I have always enjoyed the food at the Spice Oven but last night the spicy food was way below the standard which we have been used to. We were wondering if you had changed chefs. I had lamb - it was tough and filled with gristle. Worst meal I have ever eaten at the Spice Oven.

i'll be honest, we'd chose it for a work meal between a small team of colleagues. It's a buffet and I wasn't expecting much to be fair... I was proved wrong, as soon as you walked in the place was decorated and furnished to a high standard, the staff were attentive from walking until leaving and made regular checks to make sure we were enjoying our food or needed plates clearing. The food was of a high quality and unlike many other buffets you left feeling full in a good way not a bloated awful feeling. What was good is a selection of indian and chinese food starters and mains. Of course, if you're greedy like me you can mix and match. Certainly would visit again.
