D. “. C.The quality of the food was quite good. The pub was quiet when we entered. They have a online system to order food. The staff was also friendly. However, the food took approximately 40 minutes to be delivered and the dessert took another 20 minutes. This could be improved. Fair service overall
M.Starters massively varied in size, mine was delicious, calamari. My partner and he grand parents had the same 1 was hughe and the other 2 were tiny, garlic mushrooms.
The mains were nice as a whole except mine unfortunately. We did have to wait over an hour between courses which was frustrating.
The bar service was good and the staff seemed to be at tentative.
My main pictured was a bit sad and sorry looking, vegan lasagne, but tasted better than it looked!
c. h.Food was okay nice and hot service was reasonable. When main meal came out had to go and remind them I had ordered a side even then they brought the wrong bread out. Also had to remind them we had ordered pudding as well.
Ordered it on line so that might have been the problem as staff no aware of complete order. Apart from that not to bad.
S. M.Good all day breakfast, sausages tasty, large pieces of bacon, everything cooked nicely, table appeared clean. Unfortunately the hot drinks machine was out of use but otherwise good food for the price, quiet when I was there so service ok.
Toilets could do with a bit of maintenance, tlc.

Went for a catch up drink with a mate. I ordered a pint for me & my friend and then enquired about what Sambuca options they had. The barman sprung to life & that was the start of a good night, involving banter with the bar staff, banter with the locals, a mini pool tournament that then became a doubles tournament complete with a punters pet dog. Enjoyable random evening.

The place is immaculately clean and the staff are all very friendly. I always enjoy going there as the atmosphere is great. Would definately recommend this pub.
A. W.Update 20\5\22 - tried an evening meal again and I'm afraid is still not great. Both of us that had steaks ordered them as rare, both were medium\well done. They did offer is a drink on the house, but if they can't cook the meals properly it's pointless going again.
Meals were also a long wait, with few customers in there, so were the puddings. Can't imagine we'll try again any time soon, as after 2 months the new manager\staff\chef are still not good.
Update 30\3\22: not sure what's happened (new management\new chef?) but today's visit for lunch was pretty awful. Table of 6, 2 got their meals and nearly finished by the time the other 4 came out. No steak, no gammon, no fish fingers.... the list went on of what they didn't have. Of all 6 meals none of us would order again and one sent hers back as it was cold.
What was a favourite ladies lunch venue has now dropped off the list.

C.Always a good experience here, its become our go to place, my wife passed her driving test a week after her birthday so we went here twice in one week at the end of june 2021 our 3rd trip was this evening to celebrate a work promotion. All 3 visits we were seated at a table quickly. Antonio and staff were very friendly and attentive. Food is never a disappointment and we were never waiting too long for it to be served even on one visit where it was fairly busy. I suspect it won't be too long until we will have something else to celebrate so I will be booking here again without hesitation. Keep up the great work!

E. P.Have been coming back here every week for the last 2 months. Was a bit hit and miss last year but can’t fault it at present. The food is great every week we like the roast beef and find it’s very good value. The staff always seem happy and are very Helpful keep up what your doing

G.Can't complain about quality of food or service apart from we waited 40 minutes for dessert. They did have a big party come in after we ordered our mains. After 35 minutes of waiting for desert, I had to ask and then got them 5 minutes later, so I do think for what ever reason they forgot. That's why I gave them 4 stars this time.

L. P.Everyone was lovely and friendly, but our waiter unfortunately got our order wrong a couple of times but he was quick to do whatever he could to correct it! Would definitely eat there again as they have decent food and usually have some sort of offer going on

M.Very good food, very nice atmosphere. The staff treat every one with respect and have good relations with regulars. I often attend as part of a larger group and despite this food does not take long. It can on occasion take a while, especially in times of high traffic and portion sizes can be disappointing on a very few select items (especially with their Christmas dinner offerings.)

S. G.I've been a regular here for a few years and seen a lot of changes.. The current management and staff have it spot on with their friendly, professional and motivated approach and all are attentive to the needs of the customers.
New customers are welcome just as warmly as the large numbers of regulars who have stuck by the pub through thick and thin.
The food served has improved dramatically recently and will go to the next level with new head chef Matt on board.
Would highly recommend this place for a drink, meal, laugh, dance.... Ohhhh and to watch live sports!!!!!

G. H.Omg how nice was it to be back here with Antonio! That man has turned the place around and is what we all go in there for! He can not do enough for you, always comes round and checks your food is good and you’re having a good time. We work close to the Tyler’s and have seen him during COVID doing the garden up and painting all the interior. He always waved and spoke, we love him to bits. He’s such a brilliant asset to the place and we look forward to many more great evenings in there with him and his winning smile.

And an exciting referbishment coming up in the next few months we look forward to coming back and seeing even more changes

R. C.Everywhere else was full so resorted to trying this. The snob in me says cheap and awful but to be fair, the prices asked for what is on offer is really good. It's cheap, there's a great selection but I don't want to think where the food comes from to get the pricing that low, but it was ok, even the kids ate everything. The decor was bright and up to date, the staff (barman) was really good and attentive. The only real down side is that you have to pay for parking!?

Food quality is dependant on how busy it is if quiet or properly staffed it's what you'd expect for the price when busy of understaffed (which seems to be often) it leads to missed dishes mistakes and cold food. The service is always polite and seems effort is put in.

And if there is a issue with a meal you have always got the option to send it back! if you go in midway (as I do everyday) they couldn't be a more accommadating. And order a glass of water with ice!! (They will know who I am by just reading this)
