Fantastic service and quality authentic food! 💯 Seated quickly by the manager of the restaurant, despite being early for our booking, and both drink and food orders were taken quickly. The food arrived and was absolutely delicious; very authentic Italian flavours, and generous portions. Dessert was also incredible, being a dish that neither of us had seen or tasted anywhere else before! The staff were fabulous, and very friendly. The restaurant - whilst on the small side - was clean and tidy, and well-presented to guests. A very good dining experience, and we shall certainly return! 🇮🇹👌🏻

First time we had been to a Zizzi. We had a pleasant experience there and the food was really good. Especially my spicy wild boar Rigatoni dish, would come back just for that alone. The prices are quite reasonable as well. Seating location was a bit meh as we were right in the corridor upstairs and felt in in way of staff. The staff were lovely and were really positive despite their situation they had to deal with. That situation was that unfortunately they had no WiFi(maybe due to the big storm that happened the day before)so it was unlikely to be able to take car payments so you paid either cash or through their app. Unfortunately the app was having problems too so we paid with cash, however we were informed though they could take cash but they couldn't give change. Bit odd as most businesses take cash now so even if you are encouraging card payments, you should still have cash on standby. So in the end I made it so the change I was supposed to receive was a tip to the waiters who had to deal with it, as I don't blame them for the situation. Will comeback I'm the future and hopefully the card situation is better for them.

These 5 stars are for a lovely lady named Deborah. She was absolutely amazing at making us feel comfortable and played a huge part in us having a lovely evening. Thank you so much DEBORAH you are incredible and we’ll be back to see you soon. All staff should be more like her. Oh and the Gluten & Dairy free options are amazing. We’ll be back next month!😉🤩

Visited here with our 1 week old, for a bit of a chilled out lunch during paternity leave! Lovely staff and great quality food, including the FOC pasta crisps. Nice atmosphere too. 4 star, as a slightly limited menu today as awaiting a delivery today and pizza cutter felt flimsy/cheap which was a shame

Food was lovely but - the manager was appalling. We arrived at 850, to be told the kitchen closes at 10, and he only paid his staff till then so we would have to finish our food by 10, they served us like we were in the way and a disturbance to their evening. NOT Welcoming or friendly. They even asked if we would like our main course at the same time as our starters, and said we could take our dessert home. DO NOT eat here if you want a nice relaxed meal, or actually want an enjoyable evening. There’s plenty of decent restaurants to choose from in Reading - and considering the hospitality industry has been hit so bad you would think that the manager would be a little more welcoming. MC Zizis … reading I wouldn’t if I was you. Shame because every other zizis I have been to has been great. This restaurant lets you down for sure.

Atmosphere was nice and the location was convenient. Food was tasty and came very quick and hot, as it should be! However, we had the moodiest waitress whose attitude put us off - it looked and felt like everything was just too much for her! We had to ask her for tap water twice before we actually got it. She needs to go back to training and be taught how to treat customers. When we left we didn’t even get a bye or thank you!

Stopped by on a Thursday evening, we originally booked inside, but the host didn't mind us sitting outside, which was really appreciated. As expected service is mostly thought phone, but it's an intuitive system and our waiter Daniel was more than willing to help with our order. We got a freebie appetizer of pasta crisps and ordered our food. Our starters and mains arrived promptly and they were delicious as usual. Daniel was extremely helpful, efficient and cheerful, he made for a truly pleasant night in his company.

I am giving three starts for two reasons, for the Italians servers as they made me feel like I am back home in Italy and for the lovely waiter that tried his best to convince the manager to give us a table outside as they were fully booked (at 20.30, while other tables were clearly empty, he even said that they stop taking orders at 21.00, but anyways at the end we recieved the table after ten minutes of trying to convince them.) The food is okay, not too bad for a fake Italian food. Thank you guys, you made our evening.

Zizzi's make the best Pizza and Pasta (especially the STROZZAPRETTI PESTO ROSSO) and you can customise it (I generally like it more saucy and with a little garlic) the chicken is cooked to perfection and it does not feel chewy or powdery like in most of the other joints. The Starters have amazing selection including Butterflied Prawns; ARANCINI etc (which is delicious) and then the Desserts are another level The waiting staff is amazingly kind and is attentive and listens to you and have good suggestions Overall a good joint to enjoy !

The food here was absolutely delicious, but our server Claudio was so bizarre it became rude. He was very blunt with us, and while we were obviously still eating he stood at our table and hovered his hands over our food as if to remove plates for about ten solid seconds, before telling us he'd come back in a bit. I enjoyed it overall, but the server put both my date and I on edge throughout the evening.

This place does the best italian food I have eaten in the UK so far! All from pasta, pizza and salad is tiptop. Super fresh ingredients that also feels very premium. I always order from deliveroo and my favorites (and must tries) are the Super Salad (for vegans or vegeterian option), the Chicken salad (amazeballs) and the Lasange. Worth to note is that I am a very picky eater so if I think something is good it often has a very high standard :P. Love Zizzis and also they have really good customer service!

Reasonable range of Gluten Free and Vegan dishes, the pizza was really good. Only 1 waitress when we first got there and she was great but rushed off her feet. Fairly priced. Will definitely eat there again.

Food was absolutely amazing! Courgette frites and venison ragu was amazing but just as importantly all the staff were so polite and accommodating. I felt so guilty for barely touching my meal as did not realise how filling starters were (Garlic bread with blue cheese is huge!!), but one of the ladies was really kind in assuring me not to feel bad and even let me take it home as I had hardly touched my main. Most definately becoming a fast favourite - only wish Deliveroo came to our area but worth going just for the service!!

I really like this place. The food is good and the portions are decent, without being too much money. It does sometimes get a little noisy though, i'm not sure if that's because of how the tables are set up or if it was just because I went when it was especially busy. Wonderful atmosphere and the rosemary & mint tea was beautiful. Customer service was brilliant and friendly staff. It was perfect for a date with my partner. Loved everything however the bread with onions tasted a bit wierd for my liking but everyone else has their own specific tastes so overall it was really good.

The place itself is nice and a good place to go for a date or meal with friends but the pasta portions are absolutely tiny and don't fill you up at all, and cost £9 so very disappointing. The garlic bread starter however is the size of a pizza and is far more filling than the pasta main. I've been to multiple Zizzis and ordered different pastas and they've all been this tiny size so I'm not going again as that's all I want, but good if you want pizza.

Had a meal with 2 others here on a Saturday evening. Arrived just before 5pm (had a young child with us) the time for the food to arrive at the table was very slow. (Mains arrived after about 50 mins, with only 1 starter). Ordered a Smokey Chorizo pizza, however some of the meat on the pizza was stone cold. The waitress was fantastic and sorted the error out quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food (once it eventually arrived). Overall the front of house staff were great, let down by slow & erroneous service in the kitchen.

Zizzi's is continuously a stand out chain restaurant. The food is always so good and they have such a variety of options for vegans/gluten free etc. Atmosphere and location is great. Only thing is service can be a little slow but staff are always friendly.

Not too good not too bad.. The quantity of food varies and so as the taste. The same lasagne tastes different at two different Zizzis', but both tastes better. Need to improve on portion sizes as seems a bit small.
