Service was slow for it not seeming to be that busy. Delivery drivers were getting priority like most fast food places now. So annoying. We don't usually sit in but did on this occasion as we had a bit of time to kill and the background music was a bit on the loud side so struggled to hear each other talk. There really needs to be a maximum level so as not to annoy customers. Thankfully I don't have a KFC too often enough to worry too much about it. Think I'll stick to take away.

Not the quickest but under current circumstances it's to be forgiven...but when you get your order and its lovely fresh plus piping hot then there's no complaining to be had. Looking forward to going and having a sit in meal with my daughter and relaxing rather than sitting in the car all the time.

Good food, fast delivery, but the drivers don't wear masks and stand right up to the door to hand over the food. Back in the first lockdown they left it on the step and stood back while I picked it up and I felt a lot safer but recently they've stopped and its been a bit irritating considering we're in another lockdown. Hygiene/safety is lacking.

Staff lovely but they didn't have any of the 80 piece popcorn chicken buckets left on the last day of the promotion, disappointing after waiting in the drive through for so long.

This is not a review of KFC, you know what you're getting with KFC. Instead, this is a review of this branch. Waiting 20 minutes at a drive-though is not acceptable. The lady who took my order was bereft of a personality. However, food was hot and everything was in the bag.

Perfectly acceptable, your average modern KFC. Plenty of parking, 90mins free, but watch out for the outrageous parking charge if you're a minute over as it's monitored by the ANPR type of cameras as you enter. Loads of seating available, soft seats, hard chairs and high stools. The staff are trained well and get through busy times without having to wait too long for your order. The food is spot on, cooked to perfection. The only thing I'd watch out for, is the drive thru, it can be quite tight as you go round. There's a noticeable drop on your left, but going round the corner of the building on your right is awkward staying clear of the bollard. Longer vehicles will struggle.

I generally have to wait for my order. Which detracts from the term "Fast Food" , this describes both the drive through, and inside the restaurant.Food is great, but their menu options could be updated, and the prices also. I have a limited budget, so find the prices to be more expensive than other fast food options. For Kentucky South Shields to be more attractive to customers, I would suggest that, .. 1. Staff training should be looked at, focusing on integration between staff and customers. There are many times I have gone into the restaurant, and found no staff at the counter. When there was, I felt invisible. 2. More menu options, which don't include hot spices. 3. Prices to suit the customers in the surrounding areas. 4. A facelift for the interior, to give it a more inviting experience.

Fried chicken, simples! However not being told hoq long you will wait for your food is annoying, on my last visit i had to wait 20 mins and not once was i or anybody else told how long pur food was going to be. However, my meal was upgraded to LG at no extra cost. Win win

Came to this location craving some deep fried chicken. Was not disappointed, however what was disappointing was the lack of barbecue sauce the last two times I have visited this location. Can't blame the staff, more the managers fault with inventory.

Clean decor . Ordered fully loaded meal. I thought christ got order very quickly .. yes then understood why . Chips was cold . Looked like they been left over from previous pan fried load . Beans was hot . So to eat chips i dunked them in beans . My burger was also cold as same as tiny portion chicken you get with deal. It was not busy .in fact it was empty . I had left over food from goodness how long had been cooked before . No way is food served at core temperature of 74 and above . . I like my kfc but this once i shoved it under carpet and will go back and try again. Just hope do not get same quality . . . Or it be . Wheres staff food hygeine . Awareness certificates . To prove they understand the core temperature of what food should be . And how bacteria forms . Luckily i felt fine nxt morning . I kept my receipt . Incase of illness to prove i eaten there . as it chicken should not be left sitting about for god knows how long . .

Queue was long and it took ages to get surged and we used the drive through. They got apart from the order wrong too. A fruit shoot instead of a small tango. Which may not seem a lot but it was a treat for my children and they are not allowed pop often. It was disappointing

Food is standard KFC quality and price to be expected. Spent a good 30minutes in the drive thru queue. Edit 21/04: The cardboard cup holders are as useless as a paper raincoat. They have absolutely zero rigidity to hold the cups, and then when liquid inevitably spills on them, they then become even more useless. Which is great to try and manage when driving.

We ordered through Uber and the driver got the delivery's mixed up, he then tried to pass blame to this KFC don't get me wrong every time we order here there's always a problem with our order. Something is always missing!! However, last night I spoke to a manager called Emma and I feel she really deserves some credit for resolving the issue rather making it an on going one like our previous orders! Thank you😊

The worst KFC i have eaten, chicken was way too salty and the chips ended up in the bin. Service was mediocre the place was empty but guessing its because it wasnt great food and overpriced in this climate.
