Unbelievable burgers!! Have ordered from Burga many times and we absolutely love it! Some family members aren't keen on burgers but absolutely loved these so we order every time they visit and are never disappointed! All of the chicken is delicious too and a special mention has to go to the doughnut burger, which is by far my favourite burger ever!! We decided to go and eat in once and the staff were very accommodating and the food was incredible (perhaps even better than when we normally order in!) Would highly recommend Burga... no idea how it isn't more than 4 stars!! Will be ordering again very soon!

Came here for Valentines, food here was great. The milkshakes were yummy. The staff were very friendly, excellent, polite. The decor was beautiful and loved the swinging chair. Can't wait to come back again.

AMAZING burgers and dirty fries!. ordered the Cheetos chicken burger and the dirty fries. The food arrived hot and was extremely delicious. Cannot wait to try more from this place. Changed to 3 stars because the chicken tenders were swimming in bbq sauce. The chicken has the sauce poured on top making the chicken extremely soggy and overpowered by the bbq. It was very inedible as i felt i was drinking the sauce rather than eating the chicken. Would be better if the sauce was on the side.

Absolutely fantastic,hot and fast. I wanted a delivery,and I noted the poor reviews for delivery so I phoned the portswood restaurant and spoke to a nice chap who informed me that at busy times it can take longer to deliver. So I ordered on line a sheriff burger and large fries at late afternoon. From order to delivery took 25 minutes. Proper burger,can’t fault it,hot fries.

I've eaten a lot of Burgers across the globe and these quite possibly top my list. It's rare to get such a well cooked beef patty with the right mix of toppings but they somehow achieve it here. Sides and fries are on par with the Burgers too and not a massive rip off like some gourmet burger places.

Without a doubt one of the best burgers I've eaten. Had the flaming chicken burger and the Stack. Both were delicious. And then the wings...Incredible!! Spoke briefly with the owner. You can see he is really proud of what he has brought to the table. Unfortunately he wasn't there when we left as I would've liked to tell him how much I enjoyed it face to face! Fantastic experience all around. Will definitely be returning!

I am sat at a dining table in a candle-lit room and before me stand two small boxes; one red-striped and cuboidal; the other fiercely decorated in blue and orange splatters, and trapezoidal. Upon the unveiling of the contents of the first box, branded “KFC”, pieces greasy and peppery particulate matter fester themselves within my nostrils. There is no compliant emotion that I can associate with the experience. Beneath me lie eight beige chicken wings, it is a dismal graveyard coated in batter. But the opening of the second box is wholly different. As the steam rises I am caught up in a cloud of sensuous joy, momentarily liberated from all sadness and fear that so often seem to populate my mind; fluttering around like moths in a light. Looking down provides an explosive visual phenomenon; spring onions and chilies of tantalizing red and green appear as though fireworks across a night sky upon the chocolate brown wings beneath. If KFC is a dismal graveyard, these wings are the ‘Day of the Dead’ festival. I first try a beige wing, and its flavor is as bland as its color; each bite a further reminder of the futility of existence. Then I try the second wing and all pessimisms that I had previously felt vanish, meaning in life has been restored. It is as though I was trapped in a relentless purgatory and suddenly whisked into the heavens, each bite is better than the last, wonderfully flavorsome and succulent. While it may be an act of gross indulgence, I am powerless to do anything but submit to the culinary ecstasy. Soon I have finished the wings and my appetite is sated. For an experience similar to mine, visit “Burga”, but beware; the Jerk wings are edible heroin.

burga located on portswood high street, in portswood southampton isn't your usual fast food restaurant/takeaway oh! no' (burga) will have you singing the praises.. should you be dared to take a visit' and should you be brave enough to try the sherrif burger your belly will no doubt be repeating the words.. burga" burga" burga" clearly showing that its a belly busting (burga) so' if you feel hungry enough" whether it be for a sit down meal. a takeaway. (or) maybe a delivery "they won't disappoint" the staff are bright and cheerful! and the grubb is great! so why not try them today!

Visited the Burga last night and must say that this is the best hand made smashed beef burger I have had for a while. Such a lovely place for affordable and great quality food! Waiting times are fairly good. Place itself looks fabulous it almost makes you wanna come back each time you're there. The portions you get are really big especially for the price! Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try such great quality burgers for affordable price!

Just had our first ever Burga experience and safe to say it was the best Burgers we have ever eaten. We've always tried so called amazing places with burgers but by a mile yours are the best. If you like fresh homemade burgers and some other treats then this is the place for you. I swear down, this is one of the best places to order a takeaway from. I ordered a regular cheeseburger and chips with onion rings, tator tots and a homemade oreo donut. The burger as great, so meaty, smoky and tasty. The chips were also really nice, had a lovely taste to them. The onion rings for me were a bit too greasy but still fantastic, and the tator tots didnt get delivered to me, instead they gave me some extras which was nice of them and put a note on my delivery. The donut, I sh$t you not, is the best donut I have ever had in my life. 10/10

I've been here twice. Both times, the food was amazing. It's a bit expensive for a fast-food restaurant but well worth the money. However, when I asked for no cheese, despite them confirming I didn't want cheese, they added cheese to my burger anyway. Hence only 4 stars. Would definitely recommend.

I would rate 3.7 stars. Perfect cut, fries and taste for the chips as well as meat for Burger. Compare with thier competitor (Texas Burger and Grill), Burga price were slightly above for the price compare with their competitor (Texas burger &grill)(about £1.5 pp for overall bill). However, Burga have a better taste and interesting appearance. A little weird when I saw a black or pink burger bun. I hope Burga will survive in the hard market of Portswood road
