Delicious American style burgers and amazing fries. Just like the Five Guys in the US, a little taste of the Midwest is great to find in Southampton. The dining area is kept clean, the food is spectacular and portions are generous. Love it!

A really decent place. The burgers are absolutely delicious, the fries are tasty and the option of free re-fills is a spot-on solution. I am concerned about a few things, however: the presentation of fries and the lack of dips. The fries are put in the cups and most of them are scattered inside the paper bag. They are still nice, however, but it kind of spoils the look. There were only two sauces available, one of them actually ran out pretty quickly. I hope there can be more choices available soon.

Amazing customer service skills and really enjoyed my experience that he provide me and by the looks of it he provides to everyone who comes to the counter. I'd heard so much about how good Five Guys was that when given the opportunity to have lunch there I said yes please. I wish I'd gone somewhere else. There was nothing actually wrong with it. The staff were polite but busy. The burger was a burger, I've had better. The bun looked like it had been sat on. The fries were ok, again nothing special. And .. finally the much talked about milk shake. It was average... not nearly as good as I was expecting..it was just a milkshake. So 3 stars and it will be a long time before I go back...sorry.

Love the fact you can choose exactly what you want on your burger. The fries are the best. Does work out kinda expensive when you factor in drinks, fries and burgers but nice for a treat once in a while.

Unlimited drinks, peanuts and large batch of chips. Strong 5 guys vibe, the White and red was prominent throughout. There was small crates of peanuts that people weren't utilising. The burger and hotdog was decent, can get it anywhere, but the chips definitely made the whole meal go from decent to great. Highly recommended the chips, especially the portion size.

Very little social distancing going on in this fast food restaurant with no sign of track and trace. Really bad considering that everyone ordering a fizzy drink uses touch screens to order what they want. Tasty burgers made to order and the fries are gi-normous!! Quick and tasty. Order by the front, take a seat and keep your ears open for your order number. They are going to shout it. Huge selection of milkshake flavours and you can mix to your taste. The fries are always very big portion. A small is enough for two with the double burger.

Food was fresh and probably the fastest service I've had from a fast food joint for quite sometime. However the chips were salt, not just added salt, it was like they tipped the bucket of salt on top. Would have been better to give a choice if we wanted salt. Good portion though 1 pot of chips would have done 2 people though. The price was quite excessive £35 for 2 people not going to often tbh.

Love this place. US 50s style burger joint. Great value, excellent burgers, made just how you want with loads of free toppings. The milkshakes are top draw and with the fries being freshly cut they hands down beat other chains. Staff were very friendly and considerate - cannot recommend highly enough if you fancy a proper burger.

Man, I like these burgers. I'm not a big burger fan, but these are really tasty and the service is generally pretty quick and friendly. The last time (previous to this review) they did get our order wrong but not too badly. The portion sizes are decent but the prices are probably slightly more than I'd want to pay hence the 4 stars. Need to try other burger joints but this is my first choice as we stand!

Amazing burgers and decent portion sizes on chips - plus endless drink refill definitely make this worth a visit. The burgers are a good size, taste good and there's a fair selection of toppings. Service has generally been pretty quick when we've been but can occasionally get a bit backed up. Only downside is the price is a little high.

Five Guys is always a good experience, and it is no different here. The food was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The disabled toilet has a small changing table for baby changing, which is great! Loads of seating, but not cramped, so we could easily find a spot to park our little one in pushchair without inconveniencing anyone else.

What is there left to say about 5 guys. Quite pricey, but in my humble opinion, worth the expense. Pure Americana. No thick burgers here. Instead you've got smashed patties. The thin burgers mean more contact with the griddle, more browning or for the cooks amongst us this means more of the delicious 'Maillard Reaction'. Then for no additional cost you can pick from a list of toppings (select as many as you like). My personal fave is: bacon, cheese, mayo, raw onion, jalepeno, pickles. Wrapped in foil, served in a brown paper bag with chips fried in peanut oil. Yum.

This was my first time at a Five Guys and I really enjoyed it! To be honest the experience was 5 stars. The staff member who took our order was truly wonderful! The entire restaurant was clean and tidy and a pleasure to be in. The food was prepared with care and attention and tasted lovely. But as a regular GBK customer these was a notable difference in overall taste but I really can not fault the food at all and must be said,considerable overall cheaper that GBK. A bit more salt on the chips than I like however I'm sure you could ask the staff to see if they can accommodate less salt. So now that this burger lover has popped his Five Guys cherry, I feel more visits are pending, and soon

Love the Burgers! My favourite is the Cheese Burger with the toppings I like. Then it has to be done, followed by salted caramel milk shake, so yummy. I know some people think it's expensive, but it's the best burger so worth every penny 👍

Great place for a good quality bite.. The menu isn't as big or as cheap as other fast food places.. But it's much tastier.. Also it's gluten free (if you Supply your own bun). Ideal little stop off to a shopping day or if you're on your way to the cinema.

We got this delivered and usually it is cold and the chips are no where near as nice when they are cold, even with the good seasoning mix of salt, salt and more salt. I've also had the Cajun fries which are also really nice and the famous serving sizes of the chips lives on here with a small chips consisting of a small tub of chips and a large serving of chips dumped in the bag. The burgers are always greasy but if you get them hot they are great. Once they've cooled they go soggy and cheese goes rubbery but if you eat it as your intended to eat it (fresh off the grill) it's the best fast food burger in UK by far

After coming out of cinema we were ravenous and the smell of the burgers cooking and the onions enticed us in. The beefburgers were so tasty and fresh and loved it that you can choose what toppings you like and mushrooms and tomatoes or salad. Chips beautiful and crispy. I like the idea of being able to help yourself to peanuts first while you wait for them to prepare your burger. 5 stars excellent

Great burgers and chips and milkshakes. It's all about the peanut. Everything is cooked in peanut oil so if you're allergic stay well away. Best burger and chips I've ever had. You can get as many flavours as you want in your milkshake too. Just bare in mind it's expensive. Burger is about 10 or 11 chips 4 or 5 milkshake about 5.

That night I had problems with the card and did not go to pay what I ordered and it was 10 minutes until closing .. On the other hand, one chip portion will do two people and as far as we know it's free refils so you can share a drink. Over all great place.

I've been to Five Guys in Texas, London, Glasgow & Reading. I love their cheeseburgers (made the way I like them), seasoned fries & soda machine!! Even when the restaurants were busy their staff was always friendly & efficient. Yes you pay a little more than McDonalds, Burger King etc but Five Guys' meat is quality, grilled in front of you and made to the customer's specifications. I love the decor and enjoyed reading the different articles about Five Guys around the restaurants. Fantastic food with a relaxed atmosphere! Highly recommended!!!

A little pricey and the lack of meal deals means to get a meal you're looking at around £8 without a drink and that's for the smaller burgers but the burgers are good. Didn't much rate the Five Guys fries though so won't be getting those again. Definitely more of a treat than an impulse thing to get I think.

I would say price plays a major factor into this three star review. About £7 for just the burger, then fries at approximately £2.70 for a small, then a drink for about £3. You realise at the end you just paid around £13 for essentially a burger meal.

For a takeaway it's heaven, for a restaurant it's just above hell. Good food, awesome chips, very messy burgers (not necessary in a good way). Top up your drink as often as you want and combine multiple drinks. Peanuts at your discretion. It's a shame it's a food chain business, if it wouldn't have such a massive flux of people, they could add a personal touch and jump above most burger pubs and restaurants.
