Good food, staff were helpful. Downs: no plate available (even disposable ones) if you want to share. I had the big box to share.Not hot sauce ( I am a chilly addictive) cutlery brake easily as it is made of plastic. Cola was warmish but staff changed it straight away, no problem.

We was there on a busy Saturday.Store was full of people and delivery drivers. We were lucky to find a table to sit as someone just left before we came. It was very easy to order,cashier was very helpful. We were surprised that we have been served within few minutes after we order,even they were so busy. Tasty, not your usual kebab, very clean inside and great service. Tried two of the kebabs and no complaints. Visited German doner kebab today for a quick and easy lunch/early diner .I must say was not disappointed the restaurant was clean and tidy. I instantly felt welcome when I was greeted by a chirpy lad behind the counter.who I must say was funny and very polite too. Matthew you are a credit to the restaurant. I visited German doner kebab today at 1pm and ordered a mixed large kebab and chips box and was dealt with a lovely blonde lady on the tills who knew a lot about the items on the menu and was very sweet and lovely with me and my friends the whole way through. I think her name was Chloe (not too sure). The food arrived hot and the kebab tasted very fresh and the box was very nice to just eat out of it was very tidy. I will be definitely visiting again for that box and amazing service from start to finish!

The best doner kebab there is. Staff are nice and the place feels clean. Wet wipes are included with your order as well as napkins, making takeaways a lot easier. It isn't as good as some GDKs I've been to in other locations but still better than any other kebab shop. I usually get the doner durum wrap meal for £8.99 which includes a drink and fries. The option for mixed meat is also a good bonus. The wrap itself is substantial and includes a lot of vegetables as well as meat. A good place to quickly eat in the city.

Pretty good kebab and affordable, around £5 a meal, you can meal deal it for £3 extra for drink and chips but honestly it ain't worth that much, its a filling meal on it's own. I got the Beef Kebab Nachos, it was pretty good, the box looks neat as well. You can sit inside/outside if it's sunny or simply take your sins away. Staff were nice and they speak pretty decent english, so don't worry if you "sprichst nicht Deutch". Will eat there again.

It was pretty alright! Got a takeaway of the classic kebab and it was quite generous with the meat and the vegetables. The wrap was a little hard and dry but overall, it was quite a satisfying meal! I was there today to try this new place,as I heard many people talking about them.I was surprised how tasty was! Ordered the Boss Box (Original German Doner Kebab) with the extra 100g mixed beef/chicken. Well presented in a box with separate compartments for each item. Wasn't expecting much but the kebab was quite large & really nice, tasted fresh & was more than I expected, wasn't expecting jalapenos in the chicken spring rolls but it wasn't over whelming & despite hot/spicy not being my thing they were really nice. It could have been warmer but thats down to Uber Eats & not really fair to lay that on the restaurant, could have done with a few more chips but its a small grumble. Overall it was an enjoyable meal & will certainly be looking to order again & hopefully visit in person.

Saw this as I walked by and knew I had to come back to give it a go. Ate a German Döner Kebab here today and it really lived up to all my expectations. The bread was crispy, the sauces were delicious, the meat tender and flavourful and the entire package was in one word exquisite. Had spicy fries and a coke to go with the food. The food was also served approximately a minute after ordering, and everything felt fresh and nice. 5/5 would recommend, definitely my first stop for food if I ever come back to Southampton.

XXX UPDATE XXX. 05/03/21 I have been back, the food is nice no question, unfortunately to get the the food you have to encounter the surly order staff and be open to the possibility that what you have ordered may not actually be what your given! On my latest visit I politely and clearly gave my order and it duly arrived, I drove home, opened it up and it was completely wrong, not only mine was wrong but also my daughters, I tried to call them several times but the phone just rings and rings, I didn't want to go back to Southampton so we have 2 wasted meals. It's such a shame I like the food but the customer service leaves alot to be desired. Below is my old review. Had several great experiences here in the past, unfortunately my latest visit they seemed more interested in the dilveroo/ Uber eats delivery people than the actual customers in the shop, although my order was simple it took around 20 minutes and was still wrong, I shan't bother with them again.

close to the best kebab I've eaten besides lacking kebab meat. My first visit but they only opened yesterday. They may adapt the menu or meals as they're a new business but the pricing is still rather good and maybe my experience was just a one off as they've just opened. I'd go back and pay for an upgrade of meat I suppose the flavours were amazing like I got a good 5 sauces of choice. The cokes were lovely bottled and chilled. The salad flavours went well with the kebab meat mind. You're paying more for flavours than for quantity I suppose

Only drawback is that it is small, I wished that would have more tables for people to sit. However, that doesn't affect my rating as the food had these three attributes I've mentioned above. They serve the best kebabs I have ever had, at an amazing price. Lots of variety of food, always quick table service. From the outside it may look small, but there is more seating than you think (additional seating is towards the back of the restaurant). I cannot recommend highly enough!

Was really looking forward to trying it here, but think next time I'll look for a none-chain. Donner was a bit too dry and crusty. Not a fan of the sauces but that's personal preference. What I really did dislike was how the person serving me challenged me abruptly about the length of my phone number being too short - maybe have a bit of composure and count it next time. And if you're going to be so uppity about track&trace and the guidelines, why not actually have some sanitizer in your machine at the front, before then handing the same pen to every customer to sign their details away?

It looked really clean and tidy and the menu looked appealing and appetising, offering a variety of kebabs burgers starters and sides. The prices were really good and the meals included a drink of your choice all for £4.95. You could see the food being prepared which I really like and it was then bought to your table quickly and efficiently. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The 3 of us left feeling happy and all said that we will def be returning to try something else off of the menu. Also great access for wheelchair users. 👍🏻🍗🍔🥗🌯🌮

By far the swankiest takeaway I've ever seen and food is creative and usually delicious. However PLEASE stop packing in plastic sauce pots and plastic cutlery for home delivery - unless specifically requested!! People have forks at home so they go straight in the bin, it's so pollutive. The sauce pots are heavier than sachets but still too small to be recyclable. And 6 pots is totally unnecessary for a 2-person meal! Please stop with the waste xx

Ordered through Deliveroo, and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful doner boxes that were gorgeous, at first glance I was a little dissapointed with the size but really.. they are full to the brim. I struggled to finish mine! The boxes are a perfect size. The fact that you even supply sauces was a winner for me, I'm all about that sauce life and they were all delicious. What can I say I do like a tasty kebab. I also like when a good place also has a special twist to it as well. Though the doner meat is no lamb but beef they also have chicken (I am sadly unsure if they have a vegetarian option. However these days I would be surprised if they didn't) This fast food place makes your food to order unlike some burger places you might know. With fresh veggies. The chips here are also nice and hot with crispy outside fluffy inside. Also if you want to see someone make a giant burrito out of almost all fillings that is surely a sight to behold as you can see into the kitchen and watch the staff cook your tasty meal! So if you are after a tasty kebab be it sober, drunk, or may I say even high. Give this place a chance. Who knows this might be your new local kebab place. Also, lovely little side note. If you order and request your box to be personalised with a hand written greeting I can assure you it is hand written in the restaurant. Not printed! So wholesome

Had food from here a few times. As good a donner as you would get anywhere. Not quite sure how it can be called gourmet, as the food is pretty standard kebab shop fodder. Donner kebabs are generally a bit on the dry side and there's no shish option that I could see (clue is in the name I guess) so extra sauce is a must. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if I was passing by and feeling hungry or drunk this would be just the job.

This is not like any other regular kebab you will get at the chip shop this is much much better with good meat, and you can get it in many different way like quesadillas. You get a huge amount of food and you'd think that you would be paying a lot for this but no it's still fairly cheap!

After a long day of shopping we stumbled upon this gem by accident as we wanted a starbucks but the que was massive and the weather was bad. I was a bit taken aback when i saw such a posh looking kebab place but we decided to give it a go. Best. Decision. Ever. We were served by a lovely lady named Teodora, she was extremely friendly and patient when we were asking a million questions about the menu. She helped us decide and customize our orders. Tastes like a typical Eastern European kebab, the UK style of kebab focuses on meat, little salad and occasional chips. Here there are 2 salads mixed with meat that's not as greasy as in your local kebab place with 3 sauces in a gorgeous crispy bread.

When my friend suggested that we should try GDK, initially I was sceptical because donner kebab is fatty and unhealthy. However German donner is so much better. The food was simply amazing. Regular donner is terrrrible whereas GDK is terrrifffic!! Delivery was very quick and efficient. So we got a extra large diner meat and it wasn't even that big... And we ordered a fanta and a coca cola and they was £1.99 each... So we was expecting a big bottle or something because you know, other places charge like £1.50 ish for bottles... Bruh I got a poxy can of Fanta 😂 for £1.99 And my girlfriend received a glass coke bottle. Which I didn't mind paying for. I mean will I use these again. Maybe. If I just got payed and wanna feel like I'm throwing my money at Cardi B (like I did for the can of Fanta 🙄) then sure why not. I give it a 3/5 star's. Maybe try sort your prices a little more fairly, like £1.99 should be bottle prices 😅 But the food tasted nice.
