We are very lucky to live a few minutes drive from this place. By far the best fish n chip shop in the area. Friendly staff, huge portions, even a lemon wedge garnish.

We drive 25 minutes all the way from Eastleigh for these chips, and so do my parents once they tried the fish and chips here, absolutely outstanding! Insanely crispy chips, only comparable to an award winning fish and chop shop in Westbourne I used to go to. This place should enter for an award!!

National fish & chip day yesterday 27/5 and looked forward to it all week! Ended up with us being later than we wanted but rang our order in at 8.20pm and nipped down, (Uber & deliveroo are ok but I like going in!) my haddock, with a fresh juicy wedge of lemon was superb, crispy batter and the fish was delicious, I shared a small portion of chips with my husband who had a kebab that was packed with meat and salad. The shop is spotlessly clean, never a smell of oil, and the staff are all so lovely. Highly recommend

Tried this fish and chip shop recently. It's a large shop with big counters and friers. Big signs listing an extensive selection including lots of sides, pie's etc. We went for standard 2x cod and chips, onion rings and curry sauce. I ordered it from a touch screen station near the counter and got number 007. It was cooked really nicely. Not greasy and lovely and hot. Portion size was good. Update 2 March 22. The down side is their order / number system. Once given a number you wait. Other customers come in order and wait. Then collect their orders and leave. After a while I asked about my order. It didn't seem like anyone had responsibility for seeing the order is completed. I waited longer whilst they were busy serving Uber and Deliveroo. Then a few more new customers. Then eventually mine. No one could tell me why my order took so long. Never waited in a chip shop so long before 😡😥

Really good fish and chips - gluten free fish and chips as well as regular. Had issues ordering with Ubereats so had to collect but definitely worth it. Large chips was ample for two of us and the fish were good sizes with a tasty light batter. Not too greasy!

This place has a variety of food items and basically something for everyone with prices inline with other business the same however the cleanliness of the shop is easily to be seen. Staff helpful and efficient. Freshly cooked food not had a bad meal yet. Large portions of chips too and they are chips not scraps easily best chip shop this side of town!

My daughter is coeliac and there is a real lack of gluten free options locally so I was really pleased to find out that Harefield Fish Bar had a full gluten free menu. The owner Michael was really helpful answering my questions. The fish and chips themselves were brilliant. Tasty and really generous portions. Just found my new favourite fish and chip shop!

The best place around to get chips. Their menu is amazing, so much to choose from and the Southern Fried Chicken is the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Get down there and try it yourself and you will not be disappointed. The staff are lovely and are vital to the Harefield community. I don’t even think of going anywhere else when it comes to chippy dinner!!!
