Good food, like the blend of kebab and proper chips. The guy seemed to be interested and just wanted to be on his phone. Been before and had better service from other people so not letting it hurt the rating too much.

I love this place! The portions are huge and the fish and chips are definitely the best in the area. The only thing to be aware of is that there is usually a bit of a wait, but it's only ten minutes or so and it's worth it to get the food fresh. Definitely recommend! Edit: lately the wait is really long and the portions are smaller, which is a shame!

I always have the best experience here but tonight was a bit awful. I asked for my normal cheesy chips and burger. And I got half a portion of chips and burger in one tray. When my friend got a while portion of chips. It literally looks like I have a kid size meal!

I went there just before midnight on Sunday evening May 19th I was searching around on Google and Just Eat for a kebab shop with decent reviews and stumbled across this one that gave good reviews, wasn't to far away from my hotel and the thing that swung it for me is that it served proper chip shop chips rather than the usual frozen fries u usually get in a kebab shop. I ordered a large doner kebab and a regular chips. The man behind the counter cooked me some fresh chips and then also placed the donor meat onto the grill to give it a bit more of a cook before serving it into a rather large looking naan or pitta i couldn't quite tell what it was. Anyway from previous evenings out in Southampton in the past, i have been used to paying for a large doner and then eating it thinking u really don't get what u pay for as there the portion size was a bit rubbish. But from JJ's after eating it i never felt so full and the chips were really good as well. When i'm back in Southampton again I will certainly be back for another one :)

Good food but they always try and rip you off. Every time I ask for a lamb doner and cheesy chips and they always try and charge me more then it is until I call them out. Good food but be wary of them ripping you off.
