Reviews of Josie's
C. S.
Amazing, very very busy but was able to squeeze ourselves onto a table, even without a booking. Absolutely brilliant food, and the option to take your left-overs home in a doggy bag! Will never not rave about Josie's and very excited to come again in the future!
S. D.
Great find, I am a vegetarian and they have a good selection, very flavoured, smoothies and milkshakes. Well presented, busy, we arrived at midday had a 25min wait. The noise of people is such you have to raise your own voice to be heard, that is the down side of a popular eatery.
J.
A must visit. There was a short wait but it was well worth it. Service was fast and the quality of food was excellent. We had a vegetarian brunch burrito and a stack of chicken pancakes. Definitely want to return to try the rest of the menu.
M. R.
Was excited to go because my daughter suggested it looked like a nice place. The menu looks great too.
Staff were amazing. Efficient respectful and very polite.
As for the food. My wife and daughter both had the double pancake and both didn't finish as had to much sauce that made it sickly.
I had the chicken burger which had a crispy coating. To be honest I would have something different next time as the coating was tougher than expected. The chip were delightful would next time go for large portion on their own.
The milkshakes are brilliant and tempted to have another but held myself back last minute.
C. B.
Delicious and very filling American pancakes with bacon & maple syrup. Great coffee too. Pretty hot chocolate.
D.
There was an hour wait when we arrived but used this time to explore the local area. Nice to walk around, the food was exceptional. 5*

As always food and service are great. But, they have changed the coffee beans recently. The reason I keep going back was the unique coffee smell of Josie’s blend which you don’t get anywhere else. Some one told me they have changed the coffee beans recently . I went there again after 3 months and he was right. I wish the management will go back to the old blend they used, as it was certainly a reason for returning customers like me!
T.
Very, very busy at 11am - good sign. Friendly service. Lovely food - bacon freshly and perfectly cooked (quite a rare thing); very good sausage (also rare). And proper V60 filter coffee, not just Americano etc.. A gem.
S.
Lovely place and good food. Would be amazing if there was more of a vegan menu
J. M.
First visit here after hearing positive recommendations from friends & family and it certainly didn't disappoint. Friendly staff along with excellent food & decent coffee. Will definitely be returning!
S. P.
Amazing food ... super friendly staff can't wait to visit again soon
P. M.
My goodness! The girth of those pancakes! I’ve never had them so thick- Absolutely incredible! I would really recommend the Oreo pancakes. The coffee tasted amazing as well.
We did takeaway and they were honest and realistic with the timeframe of how long it would take. In our case it was 20 mins but that’s hardly any time at all, they were accurate and it was so worth the wait.
Very friendly staff and a very nice atmosphere in the cafe itself.
How on earth do you make pancakes that thick?!
T. B.
I often go to Josie’s when I’m in the area to grab a vanilla oat latte… I don’t know what they do but they’re doing it right! Tastes amazing every time… hands down my favourite place to go for coffee. I’d travel from home in Hythe for it. Don’t even get my started on the Biscoff milkshakes!! Bring on summer… sometimes I have to get both! Food is amazing too. Overall spot on!

Went here to have a catch up with my friend halfway between her house and mine on a weekday. I sat down at an empty table as it pretty empty in there. I had to wait for my friend to arrive for 10 minutes and in that time no one came over to say hi or even look my way to ask me if I wanted a menu or a drink. There were only three other tables with a maximum of 6 people in there when I sat down. I had a feeling they were purposely ignoring me as I hadn't done the right etiquette of waiting to be seated. I had never been in this place before and there was no guidance on what to do. When my friend arrived, I greeted her and we both sat down. Once again no one even came over or acknowledge us for a further 10 minutes, we were trying to catch the waiters eye (there were two people servinga dn someone behind the counter) who had by this point welcomed about 8 people and brought them drinks. In the end we had to go over and ask for a menu.
We ordered pancakes and coffee, they were okay, nothing to write home about but I just didn't enjoy the atmosphere and couldn't wait to leave to be honest. Such a shame as I am always so polite and easy going and wanted to have a good time, it just felt awkward.
A. E.
The food as always was incredible and the staff and service divine, photos attached are from the same meal the week before
L. M. D.
Crazy big pancakes
Crazy thick milkshakes
Great prices, can't fault the food, drink or prices.
Maybe place could do with some plants, I dunno. Highly recommended.
J. L.
The food is delicious. The best ‘fried’ breakfast I’ve had. The service is really efficient and coffee is highly recommended.
P. B.
Very busy and a bit noisy but great that they text you when a table becomes available...my first time here and ordered the breakfast pancakes and ong they were HUGE...could only eat half ...friendly staff and great value for money
J. C.
The reason I have given 3 stars is because once we were seated it appeared we had been forgotten and had to go and ask to be served and as it was table service this seemed ridiculous.
While the food was good,we still waited a long time once the order had been taken.
B. S. (.
Lovely place. Very busy but treated like the only ones there. Excellent service, delicious food and friendly staff. Fantastic experience.
J. H.
Lovely staff best. Butter chicken wrap ever. And pancakes were wonderful. Service a little slow. But they were busy serving pre orders first it seemed. But was well waiting for.
J. W.
Always a fab menu and great staff. Always busy so be mindful of when you go, you will probably have to wait for a table because it's extremely popular but so so worth it!
E. M.
Visited Josies, Bishops Waltham for the 1st time yesterday afternoon. Lovely food and staff and will certainly go again. The Avo pesto toastie is absolutely delicious, that and a vanilla milkshake was an extremely satisfying lunch.
L. M.
Great place to stop or takeaway. Excellent coffee and the food is lovely. Well worth a visit.
R. S.
Great food, and great service!
T. R.
Mixed review for me. This place came highly recommended by different friends. It’s busy so must be doing well.
My food tasted lovely and well presented as
Was My wife’s.
My sons sandwich on the other hand was poor.
I felt that for £3.95 the children’s ham and cheese sandwich was a con. A single sandwich with a piece of ham and two thin slices of pre sliced cheese. There’s no value for me and just seemed a profit making solution.
Unfortunately this left me not wanting to return and then picking holes in my dinner. I loved the pancake but the menu said EGGS which would suggest more than a single EGG.
The single toilet is designed with disabled rails, as well as a clean baby change area.
C. T.
Very busy, friendly place. I had brunch. Delicious special croissant and sour dough with avocado, tomatoes and green chilli. Oh my goodness so tasty. Delicious coffee and white chocolate and raspberry pancake stack. Delicious and worth every penny. Totally recommended
J. R.
Recommended by a colleague. We were fortunate to get a table as this is clearly a popular place judging by the full restaurant and the people gathering outside. Josie, the passionate owner, said hello and I learned that this is a family run restaurant. If I had any iota of culinary skill this is the sort of restaurant I'd aspire to have - generously giving people what they want. Having had the food (brunch burrito) I can see why the place is so popular. The burrito contained eggs, potatoes and homemade chorizo but what made it sing was the green salsa. Others around me were tucking into delicious and generously sized pancakes. Another stand out factor for me was the cheeriness of the staff and also the fact that there were plenty of them.
C. M.
Went for breakfast with 6 of the family to celebrate our granddaughters 7th birthday and would definately go again and again. Service was great, food was amazing and everybody enjoyed what they had, whether it was pancakes, English breakfast or like me I had Chicken Benedict and it was LOVELY, kept me full up until the evening. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to antibody who likes great food. Well done to Josie and your staff!!!
S. K.
Great little cafe - had to wait as they were so busy but the staff took our details and kept us informed through the app.
The food was great and the staff were really helpful when we asked about changing the harissa mayo for normal.
Great service, great food - I'll be back when I'm next in Hampshire.
N. S.
Nice food, great staff, good coffee. Always busy but queue system works well if you want to go for a stroll while you wait.
G. S.
Delicious take away breakfast wrap. Great customer service. Was hoping to eat in as a single diner on Sat. It was really busy and weather good. Told up to 45 mins wait for table. Was going to leave it then asked delay for takeaway, assistant asked chef and said 15 mins. Came back and assistant came out and found me. Went that extra mile.
O. O.
Extremely tasty and obviously very popular as there was a healthy stream of excited customers. Also one of the first times I've seen my boyfriend struggle to eat everything (great portions!) Would thoroughly recommend most breakfasts. If you're asked to come back in 20 mins, take a lovely walk around the town. Our wait only heighten our anticipation.
D. F.
Fantastic. Order the breakfast burrito, you will not be disappointed. Probably the best breakfast meal I've ever had. Also their flat white is really really moreish.
A. M.
The food is lovely and nothing is too much trouble if you want to swap something. Wasn't too keen on the vegan chorizo though ;)
L. H.
Food is always great as is the coffee. They are currently doing a take away service and staff are extremely friendly and helpful - cannot fault at all!
H. J.
its a really calm place with a very nice homely feeling, the service is exactly as expected at a place like this, with nice people and the food is really good (brunch burito is my suggestion).
z. h.
good food but I wish there were more food options for the click and collect as some options are only available when you eat in rather than take out
S. A.
Best breakfast and brunch ever!!! Staff are great , friendly and helpful and the food and drinks are just amazing 😊
C. P.
Oh my, where do I start?
Amazing brunch menu, very tasty breakfast taco, fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon. My birthday breakfast was absolutely fantastic!
Service is great as well, with attentive and fast staff.
S. B.
I normally wouldn't use the word "nosh" but for Josie's it fits the bill as they serve a lovely bit if nosh. Whether it's an all day breakfast, a shake or a stack of pancakes your appetite will be satisfied. If you're really hungry have a triple stack of pancakes with your choice of filling, well cooked accompaniment. Also does a range of coffee and more importantly as far as I'm concerned tea choices.
D. G.
Josie's is a really special place and experience. It's always busy, so get down early. The food is always worth waiting for a table though. The coffee is excellent and the pancakes are a must have. Their social media is also excellent and would recommend you follow them on Instagram!
N. B.
5 stars is an insult... The food and staff here are 5+.
GREAT food, very fresh and tastey. Common dishes vamped up to be spectacular.
Gets very busy, but worth the wait.
K. S.
Omg I absolutely love this place. Wish I had found it sooner. Genuinely friendly staff. Wide and varied menu. Lush coffee. Gorgeous breakie. Gets super busy though....understandably!
N. R.
Lovely cafe with delicious food, friendly service and great coffee...highly recommend
C. S.
One of most favourite eateries! Service is fantastic and the food is impeccable. The triple stack pancakes are my #1, best brownies I've ever eaten!
J. J.
Really nice little place, and the best breakfast burrito I've found in the UK!
J. g.
Amazing breakfast (attached photo is the American breakfast) reasonably priced and excellent staff. Accommodated for a large group even though they were packed. We will definitely be coming back 👌
t. o.
Stopped here just by chance. Probably one of the best breakfasts I have ever tasted. So fresh & cooked to order . The waiting staff were very friendly & efficient . Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend .
S. M.
Great little cafe and sweet shop. Also enjoyed the coffee
C. S.
One of the best places to eat in the area… Staff always super friendly 🙂
P. J.
Our first visit back since lockdown. We had been looking forward to it for days. Service to take our order was slow, then they forgot one of the two breakfasts.
We're not charged for coffees as a sorry.
Better luck next time.
D. A.
My favourite breakfast place. Exciting menu, great coffee and helpful, friendly staff. Before the pandemic the tables were a little crowded, but now it's just perfect. The only downside is that you cannot book in advance, so at weekends you have to turn up and put your name on a waiting list,, however the food is worth the wait.
M. W.
Wow! Amazing food and service can't get enough of this place
C. M.
Have visited josies in bishops Waltham about 5 times now. Have had some thing different off the menu every time. Every thing i have tried has been amazing!!! Such great choice and great food. The service has been brilliant. I can't wait to visit for my birthday next week.
S. P.
Great food and service a-like! Cannot fault it! A go to!
K. L.
Lovely food and friendly staff. The brownies are delicious.
G. H.
Love this place, good value. Great food ! Pancakes to die for
Z. B.
We love it here, great food, reasonable prices and happy attentive staff.
T. C.
This is such a great place, great atmosphere, great size of portions. Great ,freindly, helpful, staff members. I would highly recommend going here for eating in the restaurant or getting take away. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would
B. B.
First ever visit and I will definitely go back
W. G.
We've been several times but today will probably be our last. It took 35mins to get a table which we were fine about but 30mins after ordering our food nothing arrived, we queried where our order was and 10mins later it arrived. Staff acting as if it was normal rather than admitting they had messed up. Poor performance. The food itself was nice but not worth waiting that long for
H. S.
Reasonably priced good food, takeaway works well too
G. B.
Very good food good value for money good friendly staff 👍
H. V.
Delicious food for the price!
We frequently buy for takeaway and never been let down, amazing quality.
Sometimes hard to park but nothing the restaurant can do.
Will definitely continue to buy here :)
A. L.
Simply excellent - my go to place for breakfast food. Can recommend any of the pancake dishes or the brunch wrap - order probably more times than I should, but have also dined in! Food eating in can take a while to arrive when they're busy, but it is well worth the wait, especially when there are artisanal coffees and wines to peruse.
L. W.
Great place with friendly staff and awesome food. It was the first time going and certainly won't be our last.😉
K. B.
The American pancakes were to die for and their poached eggs were outstanding . Had a very well made and fresh Banana milkshake . The staff are very friendly welcoming environment . Very happy customer
I. K.
I've been going to Josie's for several years now, and continuing to get takeaway food during the lockdown. Their food is always amazing, tasty and filling! Their coffee is also wonderful! I tried their pancakes for the first time today and I was blown away!
D. H.
Great little eatery had to wait for an inside table and we got a text from them as soon as one was free. Good food and great service
D. T.
Great food. Very busy as half term.
M. B.
Amazing quality food that's good for more than just breakfast. Staff here are super friendly
J. R.
Incredible! The vegetarian breakfast burrito was so yummy
M. C.
Eaten here just once but plan a return visit for sure. Exceptional food and good service. You cannot book in advance however if they are full as was the case during my visit then simply leave your mobile # and they send you an SMS as your table becomes available. In my case a table of 2 we waited about 15 minutes. The location is lovely and unless it's is raining hard you can easily waste that time looking in a local shop or two 👌
A. B. R.
An amazing place. Food is delightful, delicious and exudes flavour that restores pleasure to your senses. An excellent team that brings credit. 👏
Z. B.
Always a great place for a coffee or some lunch
D. M.
Yum yum. Great food, great service, great location.
J. g.
Amazing breakfast (attached photo is the American breakfast) reasonably priced and excellent staff. Accommodated for a large group even though they were packed. We will definitely be coming back 👌
J. B.
Helpful people.
E. P.
Such great food, service and really enjoyable to go each time.
M. B.
Amazing quality food that's good for more than just breakfast. Staff here are super friendly
T. C.
Nice food! Good for trying new things 👍
R. R.
Great find on an impromptu stop, lots of brunch options and cheerful staff..
T. M.
Breakfast taco was delicious
D. M.
Small all place very busy on the weekends the food is wonderful especially the breakfast
K. D.
We like all the branches of Josie's and our only frustration is the difficulty in normally getting a table !
Luckily able to get a space today and whilst I only had a coffee; most people were plainly enjoying their food.
Very nice interior with attractive shelves stocked with wine.
Covid compliant just the same as everywhere these days.
E. P.
Such great food, service and really enjoyable to go each time.
A. B.
Great service considering how busy it was in here today, everyone was cheerful, helpful and had a smile on their face. I had the breakfast croissant and was left very happy with my choice, great quality meat, cooked beautifully and tasted wonderful. This was my first time coming to Josie's after hearing so much about it and I will definitely be recommending and coming back again, please make your breakfast croissant a regular on the menu rather than a special!
G. G.
I absolutely love this place the food never disappoints and the staff are friendly. Chai latte is the best with a buttermilk chicken burger and fries! Absolute perfection!
J. C.
Fantastic food! Great service! Amazing atmosphere here too!! I always recommend to everyone!
R. W.
Amazing food, if it’s a bright day take a bigger coat as there was sitting available outside and it might just save you waiting for a table inside! We went on a Sunday and it was packed around midday, don’t let that put you off though, the food was STUNNING and worth the wait! I had a vegetarian breakfast taco, I think it was called? and a one stack banana pancake you won’t regret a visit. The staff were amazing, they were rushing around like crazy.
J.
Josie’s is our go to breakfast place! Never been disappointed with anything. I normally always get the pancakes but this time opted for a veggie breakfast and it was amazing as per! Seated quick but may have a little wait depending on the time you go but it’s worth it. Great staff, good service and the food/ coffee is delicious!
E. P.
Wow....amazing breakfast! Will be back!
D. M.
Yum yum. Great food, great service, great location.
L. m.
Service was a bit slow and others who came in after us got served first. Had a Burito wrap which was fine but like warm. Could have been done with being hotter
K. G.
Friendly and welcoming staff and good food
I. W.
Great breakfast, good atmosphere! Loved it thx
D. M.
Lovely staff, great food from a thoughtful and exciting menu at manageable prices.
Would definitely go again when visiting Hampshire carnivorous plants again.
L. C.
I continue to be a regular at this delightful, buzzy hub. Always excellent coffee, food and tremendous service even when they're bursting at the seams
D. S.
Great breakfast good service.
T. C.
Nice food! Good for trying new things 👍
J. D.
They've really got their take away service right at Josie's. I had a great club Sandwich and my husband had a veggie roll. We'd really recommend. Thank you.
D. M.
Small all place very busy on the weekends the food is wonderful especially the breakfast
R.
One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Not insanely overpriced and generous portions to behold. It can get pretty hectic over the weekend but they never fail to deliver quality.
K. F.
The best breakfast I've ever had in my life! What an eclectic menu, something for all tastes with only the best produce used. Staff very attentive and everything presented beautifully. Set in a lovely village, my family are frequent visitors
K. H.
Such a great place for a family breakfast. Good variety of choices from sweet pancakes to sweetcorn fritters with vegetarian options.
Stuff is very attentive. We were sitting outside and my kids Eton mess pancakes attacked by some hungry bees as we were loosing battels (we had no choice but stay outside as inside was packed) a member of the staff came up and offered a table inside she find for us.
We had a lovely breakfast (bee free).
Place is a bit pricey and very busy, be prepeared to wait for table but worth it.
Highly recommend it
D.
Josie's is great, a very busy little cafe in the heart of Bishops Waltham. I come here every few weeks when getting my hair cut and its my special treat for breakfast! The menu looks simple but when you really look into it it has some different and wonderful things on it. The specials are also something to give a go. This place has never once dissapointed in all the times i have gone there, no matter how busy the staff are the food is always quick, warm, well presented and delicious!!!
C. B.
I love Josies. Great, REALLY great coffee. Recommended.
D. R.
Was great quick service and lovely staff 👍
D. R.
Very popular cafe with locals and visitors alike. I have always had an amazing experience at Josie's. The me unis delicious and varied enough. The hot chocolate with all the trimmings is a must, and my personal favourite is the halloumi and mushroom toastie. Lovely team here, helpful, welcoming and friendly. The introduction of a children's menu is an improvement. Simply the best. Can take a toll on the pocket, but worth that special treat every now and then 🙂
j. r.
We had a take away Ham &Cheese croissant and Coffee , very delicious as always , great way to start the day.
T. W.
Good quality breakfast as always, excellent service, highly recommended
w. t.
Great cafe with fab pancakes with streaky bacon and maple syrup. Lovely staff!
R. D.
Great staff, great service, great food. Opted for the single stack this time.
I. A.
Breakfast pancake was epic. Amazing 😎
G. M.
Great day out, away from the bussel of the city
Z. H.
Quite simply the best coffee we have ever found in the UK. A great atmosphere - bustling and busy, fantastic staff - beautiful, friendly and helpful, great food - not a big menu, but big enough and all done well. It is our favourite place to go for coffee and lunch. We have pretty good cafes closer to us, but it's worth the extra drive to get to Josie's. All other coffee experiences just don't match up!
T. A.
We pedalled 20 kilometres today to Josies .. it was worth it for their breakfast wrap which we pre ordered. It was first takeaway I’ve had in 3 months and what a revelation. My husband who doesn’t normally eat black pudding declared he actually liked it after eating it!
M. P.
Josie's is one the most delightful coffee shops around and deserves the title as a 'Third-Wave' shop. From tasting some of the drinks, you can understand the care and precision that goes into every Espresso shot. Unlike most coffee shops, Josie's brew every filter with the technically challenging v60 pour-over; this is often seem as an unpopular choice. As a result of this, the brewed coffee tastes more complex and enables more delicate notes to be expressed through the brewing method. One of the most outstanding features of the coffee shops is its Espresso. Josie's understand the wonderful delicacy of Espresso that other shops neglect, every shot is pulled with precision. The Espresso contains fruity/acidic notes; notes of which there are an extreme lack of in most shops.
As for the food. The food tastes fresh and the sandwiches are delicious, maybe slightly too meaty for my preference but in most cases, the more the merrier! The baked scones/cakes are great and are a wonderful addition to the coffee they sell.
The shop has a great atmosphere, almost full at all times of the day. There is never a lack of customer service, baristas and waiters are always incredibly friendly.
Superb coffee shop, can't wait to go back again!
C. A.
Really good food, and service was polite and friendly, but Bishops Waltham branch isn't very big and you have to wait outside for your takeaway order which was a bit unorganised with people standing everywhere.
R. P.
It’s a lovely tea room. Great atmosphere and a wide selection of coffee available. The food is of a really high standard and thus brings in a crowd of people, so can be a little challenging to get a place in peak times.
C. C.
Delicious food and coffee. We had the rump steak Benedict and the breakfast burger. Both were delicious and the food came out within 20 minutes. The service was great and the staff was very friendly.
D. R.
What a fantastic cafe, and lunchtime eatery, in the heart of Bishops Waltham service excellent, was sitting outside in the sun, watching the world go by, whilst devouring an Ice cream Biscoff Milkshake, Beautiful.
J. R.
Best breakfast around!
M. F.
Delicious, lovely setting, friendly staff
j. T. T.
Great, BUT
The staff are very friendly, helpful and cheerful. The coffee is great as is the atmosphere. The food as far, as I understand, is very tasty; however, I am vegan, and there is not one single savory meal option on the menu that is suitable for vegans. I do visit Josie's quite often, bringing with me friends and family, but am always left not eating a breakfast or lunch. It doesn't even seem that easy to customise a menu option as, quite disappointingly, there is no 'spread' available, only butter. I had a mushroom toasite - with oil as spread instead of actual spread. In this era of rising veganism, I do find this both disappointing and surprising that vegans are not catered for at all - apart from milk alternative drinks.
H. W.
Excellent coffee as always, always a popular place and walucky to get a table. Thoroughly recommend Josie's
R. P.
The food at Josie's is excellent - you cannot go wrong with any of the breakfast items, especially anything with pancakes (which are huge and fluffy). I always try to have one of the juices, though be warned - they can run out of the popular ones quickly. They serve Monmouth Coffee which is excellent.
The Bishops Waltham location is quite tiny, and you may struggle if you have a large baby buggy - I witnessed some complicated traffic control the other weekend as people were trying to come in and others were trying to leave. Also at the weekend, be prepared to leave your name at the door and wait to be called for a spare table - it is very popular and gets very busy.
There is partial table service here - you order at the counter and your food and drink will be brought to you.
P. S.
Great Coffee, Terrific Food and a Good Atmosphere
G. P.
Its a nice place with very friendly staff. I thought the berry smoothie was overpriced for its size. I had the Chicken, Bacon toasted sandwich with BBQ sauce. To be honest i didnt enjoy it,the bread was tough and the sauce wasnt to my liking so that was disappointing.
D. F.
Interesting cafe that also sells wine. Great coffee, moorish pastries and cakes. Nice light bites selection. Friendly service. Was busy for a reason. First visit but won't be my last.
E. B.
Excellent Monmouth coffee but has got a bit too popular and the quality is suffering - had the full breakfast which has been excellent in the past but the bacon was overcooked and dry so couldn't eat it. Bring back the awesomeness, Josie's!
D. O.
Father's Day breakfast. I loved my breakfast burrito. Can't wait to come back and try something else.
M. C.
Nice cafe, staff very nice, food looked really nice, but ours was cold. Would I go back, probably yes.
D. C.
The food here was top notch. Just a shame it's so busy and the tables are crammed In so tightly. I'd recommend it but maybe xvoid the peak times on the weekends 8.30 - 11.00 I'm guessing. Good coffee also
J. M.
Can’t beat it! Best pancakes in Southampton.
J. W.
Visited Bishop's Waltham just for a visit to Josie's! Delecious coffee and hot chocolate. Seating inside and outside. Inside, the tables are spaced nicely and there is a good takeaway service in place as well!
M. S.
Delicious food. Quality ingredients. Wonderful atmosphere. Staff extremely kind. Can get very busy but to me that I'd a good sign.
B. D.
Delicious food for a great price.
Really nice range of dishes for brunch, would love to visit in the evening to try it out as a wine bar!
K. S.
Very kind and helpful on a wet and windy day. Lovely hot chocolate and muffin also a small choco chino for my granddaughter. Great selection of sweeties😀
R. A.
Always good quality and always good service. Yesterday's visit required queing and then booking a time slot (15 minute wait) because it was so busy but this in no way detracted from the experience. A big well done to all staff including the chef(s)
a.
Nice place, if rather noisey from little humans. The small breakfast is just that minimal and doesn't come with Beans, them being a £2 extra! Good quality food however if pricey.
R. R.
Great find on an impromptu stop, lots of brunch options and cheerful staff..
A. H.
Great coffee. Delightful service. Lots of hot snacks etc. Bike stop with a few outside tables too.
V. R.
Lovely food and good, friendly service.
A. C.
What a brilliant place to go for breakfast 😊
J. G.
Really amazing food and drink. Their chicken mayo sandwich is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. I'm not sure if there is a nicer sandwich in the world. Deadly serious.
D. S.
Such lovely food. Very busy so a bit of a wait but worth it. Bit chilly but door open for ventilation.
K. W.
The click and collect take out menu during covid is great. The brunch burrito was delicious. Glad you're back open!
S. Q.
Best café in the Southampton area, coffee is always on point and the food fresh and tasty. My only complaint is it's too popular and you can't book so it can be a wait for a table.
M. L.
Great little cafe. Food was amazing. The breakfast pancakes where delicious. Small venue not sure how well you'd fit a buggy or pram around. 100% recommend
A. H.
Love it there, such a lovely group of people always happy and polite. The food is amazing. Try the pancakes and syrup, my other half and I only managed to finish them once! Would recommend this place to my friends.
N. M.
Outstanding, take away service only but the Veggie Burrito is unlike anything I've ever had, to die for!
G. B.
Great staff, good service, nice atmosphere, lovely grub. Reasonable price.
J. T.
Really nice food, and the service was really good. you can only click and collect at the moment but well worth it.
B. S.
Coffee is lovely. Breakfast menu is extensive from just toast and jam to full English. pancakes with fruit and maple syrup are the ultimate for the sweet tooth. Only downside is getting a table
F. C.
Lovely place, friendly efficient staff and great food. Will definitely return.
T. M.
Breakfast taco was delicious
E. J.
Lovely food. Quick service and even a little treat for the birthday girl
B. W.
It’s ok , not sure why all the hype. It’s reasonable coffee shop but certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to return. Food is reasonable and staff are attentive.
R. B.
Lovely quality food, great service. 100% going back again
k. C.
Fabulous lunch, coffee, spot with a brilliant menu.
J. B.
Had a take away coffee. Lovely place to eat. Let's all hope we can get back in when these times are over.
S. T.
Lovely food, best veggie burrito, can at times be slow service but not enough to put me off going again
R. B.
Good food, good service, but very noisy.
G. M.
Stopped in for a coffee after a friend recommended josies saying it was a great find and far better than big brands like costa or starbucks , they were right! Amazing coffee with not only a choice of home made cakes and brownies but I had the best croque monsieur I have ever had and I lived in france for a year . Nothing negative to say really, I had to wait 2 minuits for a table but only because it was so busy !
D. L.
Very nice coffee shop and more
D. F.
Delicious food reasonably priced. Have to wait for a table. Is abit cramped. Staff are lovely and work well. Difficult to find parking
C. H. N.

C. S.
First time in Bishops Waltham, and fou t this eatery, the whole family enjoyed their meals
H. H.
When you order a hot drink and a pancake I expect to get both served at the same time, ie not to have the drinks 10 mins before the food.
O. S.
Spent the whole day at this place whilst having work done to a vehicle. Food was great, coffee real good! friendly staff too. Many Thanks
G. T.

Oh my god those pancakes!! Divine! We want to go back just for those. We ate before we managed to take any pictures. The parking is a pain though, very tiny village with limited parking.
J. H.
Josies food is fantastic and has that unique take on American/British cafe. Definitely will be going back.
P. C.
Very good coffee and pancakes; perfect for a weekend brunch. Public car park nearby allows 1 hour free parking.

Fabulous place to have a chat and really good food. It is a shame though that one is unable to book a table in advance!!
