Best Chinese Food in Southampton! If you are a Peanut Butter lover you should try the Satay Chicken (starters). Also the Cantonese Roast Duck, the Chicken with Cashewnuts are awesome... GREAT BUFFET, GREAT SERVICE AND QUIET PLACE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Decided on all you can eat buffet. Made it clear that I cannot eat shellfish so asked that anything in that category to serve on a separate plate. 1st servings great but when 2nd serving came out there were prawn items on the same plate as spare ribs, chicken pieces. Had to ask for another fresh plate without any shellfish items on. Food was good, not as good as we've had from there before. Service started off great but then really slowed down. Main courses ordered, now I've had beef in black bean sauce before but sadly it shouldn't have chilli peppers in it, meal completely spoilt. Sadly we made the decision to pay & leave & won't be going back

Booked a reservation for Monday evening for me and my girlfriend, service was good despite being so busy. They were definitely trying to keep up the best they can, but the volume of people coming and going was a lot. The food was fresh, hot and tasted great. Highly recommended these guys. Will be booking again soon for sure.

Absolutely delicious Chinese Food. It’s the only Chinese restaurant we trust to deliver quality food. Have been craving a Chinese since lockdown and decided to treat ourselves so ordered from Kachina. Very polite staff taking order and delivering, food was delivered quickly, piping hot and fresh. We even rang back to tell them how good it was once we demolished it. Thanks so much and when we next need a treat, we will be ordering from you :-)

Love this place. Although it's a buffet menu it's all cooked to order so it hasn't been sat out for a long time. The staff are lively and friendly nothing is to much trouble. I've never had a bad meal here.

Phoned on a whim of being let down by other restaurants and glad these guys picked up! Freindly service and meal was fresh not greasy at all. Had chicken ginger and spring onions with special fried rice and complementary crackers. Brilliant ..recommended

had a wonderful sunday "all you can eat" buffet at great value - £14 approx per head, discount for children. food was delicious and portion sizes were perfect. nicely sized restaurant with good decor and background music creating a relaxing atmosphere. The service was very attentive, we were served by two very thoughtful gentlemen; definately a highlight of the experience. they were relaxed about adding chips to the buffet menu for the child. easily one of the best places to eat on Shirley High Street, and i would highly recommend coming to Shirley from elsewhere to use this restaurant (which offers a takeaway service). parking was very easy on a Sunday afternoon, although on street parking is 1hr max (but free) peak times Mon-Sat.

my wife & i booked a table for 2 for our wedding anniversary & had a lovelly meal for 2 & all the trimmings. The staff were very nice & made us feel at ease considering it was the first time we have ever eaten there. Well recommended to anyone who loves the chinese cuisine. Good value for your money .

Me and the Mrs go here every now and then. Overall it's pretty tasty. I'm a fan of squid and there's is not bad. For an all you can eat Chinese with table service. It's probably one of the better ones in the area.

Great food with decent variation of dishes. I'm a vegetarian and I'm always happy with the number of dishes on the menu that I can scoff! My carnivore friends enjoy Kachina as well! As a restaurant its a little dingy but as a takeaway its ace.

Very high quality take away. The food is not drowned in msg and every dish has its induvidual taste. These guys have just catered for a large party (take away).
