We used the remote menu console to place our order but after 10 minutes no food arrived. We were then asked by a member of staff if we had received our good and we explained we hadn't and had paid by card at the machine. He quickly confirmed no rider had registered at the till and prepared our order giving us s discount. Nice touch to see the proactive approach 👏

KFC was actually pretty good. I’m mean you don’t arrive with high expectations but the food was hot and tasty. More disgusted by the family of 6 who sat and ate, then just got up and walked out leaving everything on the table. Way to teach your kids how to act you arrogant c@@ts.

In terms of food, it was your typical mid level KFC. It was fresh in all fairness to them, it didn't take too long even though we ordered a large family order, and the only thing they missed was a drink which was rectified very quickly so nothing bad. So that part we can be thankful for. The only thing letting them down was the venue. The venue was disgusting. Unfortunately; empty wrappers, food waste and receipts littered the floors and tables around the first floor of the restaurant - around table legs, the self service EPOS systems, and the bins. The second floor wasn't too bad although the litter did continue into the men's toilets. This was the only let down, and as a food business it's a bit of a necessity.

I'm not sure you can rate fast food as 5 star. So I'm not going to. However, this KFC has improved its quality of their offering and the food has been really tasty the last few orders I've had eating in and on delivery.

Food OK but needed to clear and clean table ourselves. Place filthy and bins overflowing. 2 years later and the place is very clean.... but my coffee was cold and on receiving a replacement I asked for sweeteners only to be told that KFC don't offer a low calorie alternative to sugar. So, I asked for sugar but was told that they 'don't have any - we ran out'. No apology. Nothing. I got a refund and went without. Further update Jan 2020 They seem to have turned this place around at last! Spotlessly clean and fast and efficient service. They still have a problem with stock because I ordered a meal with water but was told they had run out of bottled water! I was introduced to the Area Manager who was on a visit to the store and he took time to apologise and explained that all of the ordering was still done manually (hard to believe in this day and age I know!). I was offered a replacement drink - and a free ice cream. It seems they are on the case and have turned a very poor branch into a much better and more pleasant place - well done!

Usually a good experience at this restaurant but my latest visit wasn't so great. It took over 15 minutes for them to bring my food to the table. Once I had finished eating they were already locking up the restaurant with me inside it still, I went downstairs and tried to open the main entrance door when someone shouted from the kitchen 'use the side door'. This was 45 minutes before their official closing time.

Went to KFC drive through this morning, early doors at 10.30am. Greeted by a lovely lady with a cheerful "good morning". Friendly and chatty, took the order and explained a few extra options for drinks. Listened so I didn't have to repeat myself then went through the order clearly. I drove round to the delivery window and was greeted with an upbeat "good morning". Food came quickly with a "sorry about the wait, thank you and have a lovely day". Everything was correct, everything was delicious and it really set me and my wife up for the day! Thank you to the very charming and efficient Saturday morning crew at KFC! Your company and managers should be very proud if you.

Clean and tidy restaurant with quick and simple methods to order (including touchscreen kiosks). Food was prepared quickly despite the number of orders coming in and from the food was exactly what was ordered. Only loses a star, and this applies to KFC in general, it appears portion sizes are shrinking whilst the price is increasing.

Amazing finger lickin chicken, so tender, so moist so tasty. Popped in for take away, considering it was very busy our order didn't take long. Only when we got home we realised didn't give us go large chips or drink which was disappointing but not worth going back for it. It's always worth checking they give you what you ordered as not the first time this has happened to me.

Easy to order screens service is slow at times. Seem to prioritise drive through. They have seats inside and tables and benches outside. It is located on a business park with plenty of parking. Can get very busy as retail park and main road traffic all close by.

It was slow even though there were hardly any actual customers, deliveries and drive thru add to wait time, however saying this, the food was fresh and hot, the restaurant was messy in areas but there was alot of clean tables to choose and you could tell the place was regularly cleaned, the mess was down to customers not clearing their stuff away, a man was there with three kids, the mess he left was horrendous and the staff can't just be out there cleaning all the time, customers YOU MUST have a bit of consideration for the staff and other customers, takes minutes to clean your table and put you stuff in the bin, overall good restaurant, just be prepared to wait for a bit Xx

Average, found a few chips which could have done with another minute in the fryer. The chicken in the filet burger has become smaller, you actually need to buy a mini filet to go with it to fill the big empty space in the bun! Very disappointed they don't do BBQ bites as a standard on their menu, it's the best thing they have ever done. Service was iffy, we were given the wrong food completely, mentioned it at the time, were then told it was our order! It certainly wasn't! We were asked to wait in the parking bay, watched 2 different members of staff wander around the car park aimlessly, trying to figure out who's order they actually had. Ours arrived after quite a wait. Not rushing back here, pretty unorganised.

Haven't had a KFC for a while so offered one to my Son one evening while we were out. I enjoyed the chicken however noted the breast cuts appeared less plump than I remember. Hot wings were lovely. The chips have changed. They look more natural and nicely rough cut, But need some salt as they appeared dry. Food ☆☆☆☆. Half the restaurant was closed made obvious with chairs on tables. There was only a small number of seats accessible. Didn't feel welcoming at all. Seating ☆☆.

Probably one of the best KFC's in the whole of Southampton, the reason for 4 stars are as follows; The Chicken can be hit and miss (Dry or just right) The wait time can be a lot longer then other fast food and the staff are okay but not that helpful, really should be a 3 star, so why isn't it? Well that is because when the chicken is good, it's great, When they are't busy, it's fast! I just wish they was a little more efficient and maybe a little more consistent!

Seems to be a touch more expensive than other KFCs. Ordering seems to take an age, even if there seems to be no one else around. Food is ok but orders sometimes not correct

KFC recently introduced payment pods, which at Hedge End often freeze up or can’t print and sometimes can’t accept payment. Today one of them worked for a while, yay 😀 but didn’t actually let us order everything you can order from the till, ☹️ Service is slighly quicker than it used to be, partly because many people have given up going there; they also shut the drivethru when it gets busy - I’m not joking. It’s still amazing just how long it takes them to simply put chicken in a bag though - if you want a tray instead of a bag, get there early because the trays are strictly rationed. They still randomly run out of things - I got offered barbecue sauce today, since they ran out of mayonnaise. The staff are polite and friendly and try to be helpful; tbh though they seem embarrassed to be part of what’s obviously a very badly managed company. The food itself was great today (usually is): Crispy chicken, hot fries, cold coke. So great food and staff that try hard, but the Colonel needs to kick some management ass.

Went to hedge end today 1st sept 2018 what a joke waited for food for 40 mins it was cold so gave it back wen we finally got our re-ordered food we got home to find 14 pieces chicken and about 30 chicken fillet strips . we ordered a party bucket should of had 14 pieces chicken / 8 chicken fillet strips/ 8 hotwings/ large popcorn chicken . the staff didnt have a clue what was going on. Manager just ignored everyone . everyone was complaining i have never experienced anything like it tbh we contacted head office when we got home very nice lady on the phone . she will be investigating .

Great outdoors area with some amazing birdlife. Parking is free, only a donation is requested. Dog walking is good, but dogs must be controllable around water and wildlife, otherwise the fishermen will become irate and aggressive.

Variable quality KFC. Very often they seem to have new people training, so must have high staff turnover. This often causes a queue out the door. I don't think the staff themselves are to blame, as I've said there seems to be a lot of turnover so they are probably forever understaffed and trying to train new staff.

Even though their network was down and they couldn't put orders trough to the kitchen, team was trying very hard to get orders out as soon as possible... even if it not always was the case. Some customers were not happy to walk 25 meters to the cashpoint, but it's not the teams fault, so - I enjoyed my experience. And felt for the team!
