Good price for the amount of food you get. The staff are really nice. I had a beef burrito which was nice but was quite sweet for my taste. The tortilla chips were nice and came with a sour cream dip. All in all, really nice and would return! (I forgot to take a picture of the inside but the one of the burrito wrapped shows the size)

Lovely Mexican place with fantastic food and really friendly staff. Portions are great value for money. Just wish they didn't charge £0.75 for guacamole and other toppings in the burritos as they should already come as part of the contents naturally. Also Jarritos drinks are sold here so didn't have to go to Mexico/ California for them.

Absolutely delicious. Like Tortilla but cheaper, and has chips! Their desserts are insanely good, the burrito was fab although even I would opt for a slightly spicier version (I'm very bad with spice) next time. The seasoning on the chips is sensational. You can get a really nice meal from here (which to be honest turned into 2 meals for me) for about £15 including a burrito, chips, a drink, and a dessert. I'm getting everyone i know to try it!

Asked for Gluten Free options and helpful lady talked me through the meat options which were available to me - crispy tacos or the one of the bowls, plus nachos. Ordered the pulled pork crispy tacos which were nice. Hubby ordered the pulled pork soft tacos which he had as a meal deal with a beer and some nachos. Food was decent, but have had better Mexican in Southampton. That said, we’ll probably be back 🌮🌮 I’d have liked to maybe see some corn soft tortillas as they’re normally GF or maybe a few extra GF sides. A GF menu would be appreciated. Otherwise I’m turning up to places and don’t know whether there’s anything I can have. A GF mark on the menu next to the Bowls and the Crispy tacos would have been sufficient

Wow could not find anything to eat that was not full of fat etc..gave this place a chance and it was fantastic food..healthy food..clean place and the staff were so polite and helpful we ended up coming back next day.would definitely Recommend.

A lovely place with great vegan options and friendly staff. I appreciate the fact that one stuff member changed their gloves when dealing with my order to stop contamination from meat/diary products. Wish the vegan cheese wasn't 85p extra though.

Bought tacos, taquitos and nachos for two. Sadly the food was average, tacos we're made from ready tortillas and if you wanted to add something as simple as guacamole you had to pay extra. Taquitos were nice but only two which seems to not be enough for the price. Nachos again were just ready tortilla crisps with cheese that sadly did not melt well. Overall it was not bad and we did not leave hungry but it did not feel like authentic Latin or Mexican experience..

Took 20mins to get an order of 6 x chorizo cheese bites for eat out, it was quite busy but that's half of my lunch break spent waiting for a small side order. Overall the staff were very nice and the food is tasty. Got to get in there early before the lunchtime rush!

Didn't know what to expect. Our reservation at another place was cancelled at the last minute so we found ourselves outside Mexigo. We walked in and it was a little intimidating that everyone appeared to know what they were doing (and we didn't). However, the lovely lady that was in charge recognised this and helped us out, explaining that it works a bit like a Mexican Subway. That's where the similarity ended though, the veggie and vegan choices were extensive and the dietary knowledge of the staff was good too. Again on-the-ball, the lady worked out that I was vegetarian and my wife vegan without having to ask. We had plenty to eat and enjoyed every mouthful (especially washed down with a bottle of Desperado)! Thank you Mexigo!

My favourite burrito place in Southampton. 5*. Good portions,fair price. The meal deal where you get a beer and tortilla chips is worth it (£2.95 extra I think) Staff are also really friendly and chatty. Always a really nice experience. My one small gripe, is that guac and jalapeños should not be £0.75 extra. Guac I understand an additional cost to some degree, as Haas avocados can be expensive but jalapeños are incredibly cheap to purchase.

By far the best Mexican food in Southampton with kind and considerate staff- my only complaint is since switching from 'justeat' to 'deliveroo' the delivery time has shot up from 25 minutes to over an hour which no longer makes it a viable takeaway option for me (I only live a 15 minute walk away)

We just had the most delicious and fun meal at Mexigo! 7 of us, with age range 14-82. We managed to all sit together and the staff could not have been more lovely to us. They were so patient and explained all the food very clearly, they were extremely helpful and kind. The food was amazing and we definitely want to go back. The food was fabulous. We had three burritos, some chorizo bites and chipotle mayo which was all just lovely.The food arrived a little later than expected but it didn't matter as it was still hot. It was good value for money ( we ordered large ones but could have easily had regular). This will certainly be a new favourite for our family.

Thee ONLY place I go for my fix of Mexican cuisine, I personally worked at a franchise called Burrito Boyz and Mexigo would certainly give them a run for their money if they ever came to town!! Best burritos in Southampton and I've tried them all. Informal atmosphere and well lit cafe style with small choice of drinks so perhaps not first choice for a sit down meal, but much better burritos than the more upmarket places in Southampton. A great place to go if you want to grab a bite on the way to a show. Always served quickly even if there is a queue.

Best burritos in Southampton, by a long shot. Everyone has always been incredibly friendly and the atmosphere has always been nice. The prices can seem a little high considering what you get, but nonetheless, I keep coming back. Would highly recommend.

Great food and friendly service. On my most recent visit I had the bombay chicken burrito with mango chutney which was 10/10. They have a nice variety of fillings, toppings and extras without feeling overwhelming so you can build the burrito you like. Also they don’t try to upsell you with charged extras like other similar places do which is nice as it takes the stressy feeling out of ordering, you just pick what you like and they put it in the burrito. Everything feels fresh and is really tasty, literally never had a less than stellar experience here with a variety of orders.

I love Mexigo. The only issue I have ever had was when they changed the steak burrito meat. It used to be succulent diced lean cut steak. Now it resembles something similar to what falls out of a tin of braised steak. I understand the original meat was probably way too expensive for what you were charging, but up the price. I'm pretty sure people will pay it.

One of my favourite places in Southampton! Great for students and the like that live near Bedford Place to have a good quick meal. Mexigo is sort of like Southampton's answer to Taco Bell. Nice small shop where they make fresh Mexican food in front of your eyes.
