Reviews of Piggy's

Just got vaccinated and would like to have all day breakfast with my Miss. Searched and found this place nearby my home! Comfortable environment with piggy decoration. Nice food especially the homemade beef patty.

My partner and I have been wanting to come to Piggy's for a while now and today we finally managed to stop by on our way home from walking the dog. Although small and busy, the place was typical of any family owned neighbourhood cafes which …

Very nice atmosphere, nicely laid out with plenty of room.
Service is quick even though the cafe was quite full.
Breakfast was OK, not the best though.
Egg was hard and the tomato was barely cooked. Sausage was excellent and the fried bread done to perfection.
Staff very attentive and the food came in good time and apart from the tomato it was warm too.
Definitely go again, next time I will ask for the tomato to be well cooked and the egg slightly more runny.
All in all a nice visit

Popped into Piggys randomly when working in Southampton. Friendly service, very tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Ordered Sunday morning (lazy) full English breakfast. Wasn’t expecting much. Very pleasantly surprised, very well thought out, packaged so well, not all mushed together beans kept separate very tasty and very reasonable. Definitely be ordering again. X

Popped in on the off-chance for a Birthday breakfast and had the most wonderful American Pancakes with bacon/maple syrup. Attentive and friendly staff and a comfortable, cosy atmosphere. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely revisit soon.

Piggy's is nice little café with some okay food choices, the main down side to this place, is when they cook food on the premises, if it's a hot day, you tend to get over heated. I try and sit as close to the door as I can to avoid becoming too hot but it's not always available and each time I end up not getting a door seat, I over heat, since they have no air conditioning or anything to cool the eating area. The other down sides comes with the food quality for price, I paid for some Korean chicken and rice, the chicken was great, but the sauce they had it in was more then likely microwaved, It was incredibly hot, not spicy hot, but heat hot, the sort of heat you get from a microwave. The next issue with the dish was the rice, it was over cooked and almost the consistency of mush, It's not clear how they cooked the rice, but it wasn't good. something worth mentioning about the chicken, it wasn't that hot, the sauce had all the heat but the chicken was almost stone cold, really poor. The other food options are also not that great, they have really high prices for their food but quality doesn't match it, the only thing holding this review at 3 stars is the fact they are the only restaurant/café that enable mum to get a gluten free alternative in Woolston, for that reason alone we will keep going there but if a better option comes around, you can be sure we will move on, unless the quality and comfort improves.

I often call in for a coffee and a Piggys breakfast. The service and food are first-class. I alway bring my little dog and she is also made to feel welcome. 5 stars around.

Great breakfast before setting off back home to Nottingham, just what we needed after a weekend of indulgence with friends

A really great breakfast; eggs Benedict for me and full English for the kids. Very reasonable -the full English was just £4.99. And they had earl gray tea too.
A nice clean warm and friendly place to grab some food.
