Wonderful fish and chips. Cooked fresh every time. We had a family get together and everyone was delighted with their meal. Good portions and the fish was cooked perfectly.

This has to be the Best Fish, and chips in the United Kingdom. Cooked to order with a geniune passion to get a 10/10 result everyone, the couple always give a freindly professional excellent customer service. They really care about the product, service, quality, and it shows. Immaculately clean. The chips are always spot on, melt in the mouth, with a very good choice of potatoe with proper flavour, plus the fish has a lovely batter, and the fish is a lovely white colour, fresh, and generous. Amazingly they are also a better price than anywhere else £2 cheaper than there competition, who served overcooked dry food last time, with naff customer service. They have built up an amazing reputation with the locals over many years with excellent service, and delicious fish and chips, Millbrook chippy, (not to be mistaken for the one by Tesco express). I have tried other takeaways on the odd occasion the Millbrook Chippy has been shut, but every time I have been so disappointed. So now this is the only place I will go for my fish supper. It is run by a lovely couple who have been there for years, and who offer first class customer service. Every time, I get Perfect freshly cooked fish, and the best chips ever from a takeaway.

Delicious chips served with a perfect battered sausage. Fishcakes are great too. Our favorite Millbrook chippy. Not open all hours, which is a shame, but I would not swap such great chips for more opening times. Parking is free and if you are lucky there a space not far from the shop.

Millbrook Chippy is not our local chippy, in fact we have to drive past several to get to it, however, the fish and chips are consistently very good, the service always pleasant, and the prices reasonable. Hence the 5 stars.
