Came to dine with my partner and had a nice time. Staff were friendly and got us a table despite turning up without reservations. I had the octopus which was grilled perfectly without it being burnt to crisp or rubbery (for the price, it was well worth it). The flat bread was soft and lovely and dipped in Tzatziki, was just refreshing. However the side of chips left much to be desired. It was served cold and just overall unpleasant (being in a chip orientated country, I'd say you guys need to step it up). Also the Greek Salad could use actual kalamata olives instead of the pitted green ones. Overall it wasn't a bad experience.

We went to the real Greek ( Southampton) to celebrate a friend’s birthday - the staff surprised the birthday girl a chocolate cake which was really lovely - thank you! Fantastic food! All four of us had a full belly and thoroughly enjoy the food. We love the meze dishes - we all get to try different food. We will definitely come back again! Thanks for making our birthday dinner special.

Came here on a team meal out with work. We had to book last minute as the other restaurant cancelled on us last minute. Here they did not disappoint. They seated us quickly, we had drinks ordered and delivered in around 15 mins of sitting down, and our food ordered shortly after. Again brought out in no time. The food was spot on as well. Really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend. Customer service was also on point. I will be back :)

The food was to die for. Amazing flatbread, tsaziki that must have been made by the Gods and their homemade Lemon juice was stunning! The staff were so friendly and helpful too. This place is great, will make a trip out just to come here again. Highly, highly recommended.

Very good food, nice people and affordable price. Untill 7pm, there is a "happy hour". For about 10£ you can have two entries, one main course and one side. More than enough for one person. Very good choice if you are looking for Mediterranean food.

Its a good experience! The ambience is really nice, comfortable and beautiful! The waitress was polite, not very smiley but nothing wrong. The attendance is ok. The beer was a bit warm for me. I wish it was colder. The food was really good! I don't know very much about greek food and my first impression was positive! I've ordered lamb cutlets and aubergine and both were good! The lamb skewer was good as well!! Toilets are very clean and that is awsome! The prices are fair! I recommend this restaurant.

Dined here for our valentine's meal and as per usual it was an absolute treat! The staff are always friendly and helpful every time we visit. This time round they had put a real rose on the table and a lush chocolate heart. I highly recommend dining from one of the three set menus otherwise it could get quite pricey they all have ample amounts of food for 2 people and privide a good selection. If you want to sample traditional Greek dishes cooked to perfection then this is the place for you.

Walked in without a booking, just the two of us. We were lucky as some customers had just finished and we were asked to wait at the bar whilst the table was being cleared. We didn't give it five stars as the barman didn't know how to make a Pimms 😂. We sat down and as we had never had Greek food before, we asked another diner on tips on ordering. We ordered our food and although on small plates, because we had ordered a few dishes as suggested, it was very filling. The food was great, very tasty and the ambiance was pretty good too, not too loud but enough noise to make you feel you had made the right choice in dining there. All in all, good service, good food and we will definitely return to taste more of the menu.

Bit awkward on arrival, made to wait at the podium by the entrance for some time even though we had a booking and there were empty tables...numerous staff and customers had to ask us to move which could have been avoided by positioning the podium elsewhere. The staff were generally polite, friendly and attentive. Overall we enjoyed the food. I was impressed with the vegan meatballs which were a great texture and beautifully seasoned. My wife liked the pork belly. Houmous was a bit dry and doesn't come with bread as standard which I felt was a bit cheeky. Desserts were acceptable but nothing special.

Visited for an impromptu dinner on Friday night. We hadn't booked and there were only two of us, but despite being seated really quickly, we waited over 20 minutes for our order to be taken (had to flag down a waiter for this to happen) and at least another 20 minutes to be served. Most of the meal was nice, but the chicken skewers were slightly more charred than they should have been and the octopus had clearly been sitting under the heater for too long as was tough and rubbery. Overall it was expensive for what we had and a little disappointing. Wouldn't rush back.

I came here a couple of weeks ago and wow!!! The restaurant was warm and bright, the staff polite and welcoming 😊 Our server was the lovely Marcia who was exceptional!! Nothing was too much trouble for her and the other tables I watched her serve - an amazing employee you have there. The food was out standing 👌well done to the chefs!! Recently decided to give Real Greek a try before going to see a film. As a vegetarian, I'm always eager to try out plant based options when I can, so I ordered the vegan meatball souvlaki. It was a bit of a let down, because it was so charred that any other flavours were completely overpowered. The saffron rice that we had on the side was nothing to write home about and I wouldn't probably have it again. Omni friend ordered the sausage souvlaki which he said was great! So, at least that's something. He also said the baklava was sweet and delicious. So, overall? Real Greek is worth a try but I wouldn't ever have a craving for it.

Wow! We were accommodated at short notice on what was quite a busy evening by lovely people in comfortable, light and airy surroundings. Quite an extensive food and wine menu at reasonable prices. First time here and our guide for tonight's delight was lovely Maria who was a pleasure to speak with and very helpful and attentive giving that feeling of the personal touch. We went for the set meal meze for two which offers a choice of 8 from 16 dishes to share.... Basically a taster of many of the main menu dishes... Accompanied by a 500ml carafe of Athiri white wine. If you're in Southampton and enjoy Greek food, I'd highly recommend a visit.

Nice restaurant with lovely food. Only down side is they automatically charge you 12.5% for a tip! I thought it was whatever you felt was suitable with a guide of about 10%. I don't like being pressured into paying a certain amount and not knowing if the waitors and waitresses actually receive it!

Good and tasty food, I would highly recommend this place for a quick lunch perhaps. Friendly and efficient service which I can't fault, and my pork belly souvlaki wrap was excellent... the only reason not giving 5 stars is that i thought some of the meze plates were a little expensive what what it was, i.e. c£6 for one sliced up sausage! Still, it all tasted rather good.

A bit overpriced for the sizes you get, the food was delicious though. There was an employee that kept breaking glasses every 5 minutes and covering the noise of nice greek music with pure ear torture. We also saw the famous see through yoga leggins lady and that day she chose white thongs...with lace. Very unprofessional look but nothing is done about it. The lady that served us was lovely and we only have compliments about her. The man that served our food though.. Well he dicided to only talk to me while completly ignoring my partner. Also the menu had meals that are no way near greek so i don't understand the restaurant advertisement as a greek one instead of just Mediterranean. Overall i would not visit the place again. Overpriced and unprofessional, which is sad because the food was nice.

*** GLUTEN ALLERGY SUFFERS YOU MUST VISIT THIS PLACE ***** This is the first time I've been out for a meal since I found out I have a wheat / gluten allergy. The staff were amazing and ensured that I was aware of what food contained gluten by giving me a specific menu. Once ordered that advised of the process as my food has to be done separately, which was great. When the food came it was really tasty, no grease / fat, full of flavour and well worth it. I will definitely visit again when in Southampton.

I haven't eaten here but after the customer service I received while trying to get a coffee was exemplary. I was running short of time and I needed to get a dairy free coffee for my wife and I didn't have the time or patience to wait in a 20 long queue in the West Quay Costa. I quickly checked round a few restaurants but no one had dairy free milk. I spotted a coffee machine in this restaurant and asked a young lady if she could serve me a takeaway coffee with soya milk but she didn't have either the milk or the cup, I cant remember. I thanked her for my time and set off towards the carpark when another member of staff from the restaurant came running after me to let me know they could put something together for me. Both the ladies then set about making me a soya latte, hunting round for lids and such. This is an absolutely superb example of customer service, I was very touched by their effort to serve me. I look forward to dining there one day soon. :-)

Really lovely food just so much of it! Ordered 4 meze dishes as menu recommended 3-4 dishes per person. I eat a lot, but this was way to much. One dish is like a small main by its self. However I enjoyed every bit, just tried to eat everything which was not possible! Good service from the staff as well. Perfect balance of being asked if need anything, but left to our own devices. Food is fabulous, fresh and with so many choices. Service is good but we discovered you have to ask for the check. For some reason they don't bring it to you until then. They even make great coffee drinks and if you can ignore the calorie count on some of the desserts you will be in for a real treat.

The first time I have been there and I really liked it. You choose from a selection of small dishes. And it all seems to compliment each other. All tasted fresh. A table for two could have been a bit bigger but that maybe because I eat a lot so need more room for the tower of plates. The selection is great too. What made this a 5 was the service from our waiter. Made great recommendations. Really friendly and actually made the evening more enjoyable. Has outside seating area with nice view of the Bargate walls and has a light up water feature to look at. Would be great for a work night out as you can choose a lot of different things.

Me and my family visited this restaurant for a meal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was OK but lamb was overwhelmingly used on dishes that are normally pork or beef. Lamb meatballs and lamb souvlaki I have never tasted in Greece and for a good reason. A good idea poorly executed.

We have eaten in the restaurant before and thought the food and atmosphere was lovely, so we ordered a takeaway today, I was a little apprehensive because takeaways are not always as good, but it was lovely and the same quality as eating in, each dish was delivered in good quality little boxes and was still warm. It is a spacious restaurant with a great al fresco dining area overlooking a modern square surrounded by the old city walls. The staff were really attentive, efficient and explained the menu beautifully. Now the food, which came when it was ready instead of all at once and every single thing was delicious and cooked to perfection. Good combo/sharing options too for couples or parties. Kids loved their mini mezes and the location worked well for little ones. A very positive and tasty experience.

Tapas style dining with most dishes averaging £5 per plate. Served on a 5 tier stand like afternoon tea to save on table space which is quite clever. Cold dishes are bought to the table within a few minutes of being ordered and hot plates shortly after. Food was tasty and the vegan options were fantastic. More suitable for a lunch or light dinner than a full blown meal. A great weekend to still fairly hungry even after dessert! Staff were pretty indifferent but the service was pretty quick.

My partner and I ate here last Thursday for my birthday and had such a lovely night! Our waitress Dagmara was so lovely! When we arrived she asked us if we had a preference on where we sat, and said to pick anywhere we fancied. Then she clearly explained how the restaurant worked, and recommended a few things that were really good. She even brought over a cocktail menu for me. She really made our night great with how attentive she was. She made us feel very special :) I also forgot my student discount card and had a picture of it on my phone which she accepted and took off the bill for us. Very happy customers- would definitely go again.

This would of been a 5 star rating had the first waiter actually seemed interested in his job. Was really disappointed by his attitude as if us being there was a massive burden to him and we should of know what wasn't available on the menu that evening. I took my wife for dinner on her birthday . Staffs welcomed us and ask us any preference for seating . And they offered us to sit anywhere we like . Staff help us to choose our meal and drinks as I am not very familiar with Greek foods. Taste was good . Only downside is the portions are bit small . However we enjoyed the ambience and food . Food isn't exactly cheap and the service is OK. Sat down to order and waited ages for drinks which is annoying. In my opinion the drinks should come straight away while you are deciding... But the food is good and is done on a separate dish basis so you have to order 3-4dishes to complete the meal which is when it becomes pricey

It was recommended to us by a passer by we'd asked for directions so that helped our decision. We had one of the meals for 2 to share. The warm flatbread, houmous and chick peas were to die for as well as the halloumi skewers and chicken wings. There seemed to be a lot of choice if you're vegetarian or vegan. My only criticism was the length of time we waited for them to take our order after we'd had our drinks. Very tasty food, lovely staff and good atmosphere. Try it!

The dishes are stacked up but this meant having a conversation was impossible as we couldn't see each other. I'd expect the dishes to turn up as they're ready. Might go back, but not in a hurry.
