Me and my daughter go here for lunch when our days off are the same which gives us some catch up time together. The food is always so lovely its difficult to choose what to eat,this time i had one of thier curry dishes

Slight wait at the door due to a busy restaurant but handled incredibly well by the staff. Food was great, and delivered promptly when prepared. Aimee, who served us, let us know that some food items will be late, to which I thank her honesty. It was busy yet she remained upbeat and kind, which made us feel calm in such a busy environment, and we were able to enjoy our meals. Great place to eat some food! I'll visit again when it's not so busy!

Lovely meal at Wagamama at West quay. Glad to see they had a Gluten Free Menu and staff were accomodating. A waiter could take my drinks menu but I had to wait for the manager to come and take my food order but there wasn't much of a wait. Food was really nice, prawns were particularly good!

First time at Wagamama’s, I can’t justify enough how GOOD the food was! So many options to choose from and so much flavour. I love that they have a menu specifically for different dietaries (vegan, non gluten) We were served by Gemma she was so lovely and accommodating and she knows her stuff, she was able to recommend us good things on the menu which really was helpful. You can’t book which is a shame however when we went we only had to wait about 10 minutes. 100% worth the wait though. Vegan sticky ribs were insane!!!

Starting with the waiter, a wonderful person with no doubt a very big heart. He understood very well the taste I expected as it was my first time at Wagamama. Excellent location, comfortable seating, quick food preparation, well clean, well lit, and delicious. I loved it and will definitely go again. Took photos of 2 dishes that we ordered but like I said, the waiter deserves the praise here. Their attitude win hearts compared to lousy and unwelcoming waiters whose face would kill your appetite. Believe me that happens. Recommended. 5 stars by all means. Great job guys and thank you for your wonderful services.

Great place, the atmosphere is great, easy wheelchair access due to its spot above in the West Quay food Court. Will be going back again. Outstanding service. Had to wait 15 mins in the queue, but well handled and Kitti, the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I have visited wagamama a few times, and all my visits have been exceptional, the food has always been delicious; I’ve had the katsu and the chicken teriyaki donburi. The staff accommodated my friend, who has mobility issues, allowing us to be seated fairly quick. We were served by a very welcoming staff, Gemma, she took her role professionally and treated us with a very respectful approach, which made us feel assured and settled. The service was quick on a Saturday afternoon, despite the queue times.

My 17year old and I went to Wagamama in West Quay this evening. Despite there being a queue down the stairs, it moved quite fast and we were given a warm welcome by the Manager and given a table. The food as always was fantastic. The best bit was being served by Gemma, what an awesome young woman with exceptional customer service skills and a lovely warm personality, including really good taste in music. We love Gemma, she made the experience of eating here really memorable, which is important alongside the delicious food. Thank you Wagamama for a evening we will remember. ❤️

If you like Asian fusion then this is a good place to go. Plus it has a great location within West Quay food court, with spacious windows and a beautiful view. Service was fast and super friendly, they kept the floors and tables in good hygiene during the pandemic.

Our food came immediately. You may consider this a good thing however all this shows is that the food is mostly microwaved or at least pre cooked and waiting in a food hold all day (like mcdonalds food) Drinks arrived after food. Food didn't taste very fresh at all sadly and for what you pay the portions are small. Positives: staff are very nice, location is ideal for shoppers and nice views.

When it comes to food presentation and ambience, there’s no doubt Wagamama deserves a high rating for it. However, when it comes to food, it just doesn’t live up to its price. The food is bland. The presentation is brilliant, there’s a variety of ingredients used. But when it comes to taste, it just doesn’t taste as good as it looks, especially for the Ramen.

Visited during the eat out to help out scheme, not too busy and food was served quickly. Staff were friendly when we visited and the tables and equipment were clean upon arrival. The new method of paying by phone through Wagamamas website has made it quicker and easier to pay for food. Luckily, we had just arrived before rush hour, as when we left the queue to the restaurant had grown quite a bit. The only downside was that the water we ordered tasted of soap (where the glass hadn't been properly cleaned before use), however other than that everything was okay. Would recommend to visit here if you are hungry and wondering through the city centre. The wait in the queue is definitely worth it!

I love this place for a fresh and fast meal that leaves you feeling well fed but not stuffed. We had some starter plates, x4, but my very favourite is Bang Bang cauliflower - yum! Drank my first peach ice tea, a revelation. Can be a wait to sit but the food comes, as its cooked, quite fast so all in all probably no slower than any other place.

Excellent tasty dishes with a variety of choice. My only gripes would be that they are a little on the expensive side for what you get, and some main course dishes aren't enough for a main meal - more than a few times ive left still feeling hungry. One of the best places to get lunch in West Quay, if not the best. Never had an issue with food at this branch, though I haven't at any Wagamama, to be honest. Every meal has been fresh and perfectly cooked, and the juice drinks are really good. As a sufferer of IBS, Wagamama is high on my list of restaurants that don't leave me feeling bloated after I leave and is great for healthy food in general. Staff are very friendly and take COVID guidelines seriously and manage queues well. Payment via phone is a great idea which both minimizes contact with staff and cuts out waiting for a bill to arrive. Perhaps the only thing to be wary of might be for customers who have mobility difficulties and/or use wheelchairs. The restaurant is located at the very top of the food court, which itself is at the very top of the shopping centre. There are lifts to the main food court area with a ramp to access the restaurants surrounding the common seating area, but I'm unsure if there are lifts to get up to the level that Wagamama is on. Queuing takes places on the stair up there.

The service is polite and friendly even when they are rushed off their feet. We added a crowd of 26 into this session and we still all got served and processed within 60 mins or so.. Good food in big helpings, had the phad thai with udon noodles. Plenty of prawns, great flavour and the noodles were spot on. Friendly service from well-trained staff, and it's pretty child-friendly too - place mats double as colouring in pictures and the are crayons etc on the table. We hadn't taken the kids with us, so we did some colouring ourselves :)

Normally, I like the food but occasionally the food can be bad. After having the pad thai here recently I was appalled by how bland it was. Which is strange considering all I could taste was the onion and spring onion. As I thai person, I couldn't believe they were calling it pad thai! From now on I will only be having the Donburi or firecracker and if I want thai food I will travel to visit my mum and suffer through her comments about how I should be living my life. Can't fault the wait staff though.

The restaurant is situated on the top floor of Westquay shopping centre and in addition to the communal benches inside the restaurant it also has a number of tables for 2 and 4 on the balcony overlooking the food court. I had the shirodashi ramen as it was lunch and I didnt want too much and it was an excellent choice. The pork belly was absolutely melt in your mouth and the pea shoots and spring onions added nice texture with the egg adding a further texture. The noodles were just the right amount and provided a nice vehicle for the sauce. I found the broth needed more flavour but that was easily rectified with some chilli oil and low salt soy sauce. The free green tea and water went down very well and it was a very enjoyable lunch with no wait for a table.

Well first time i have been to wagamama and really enjoyed it. My friend and i went for lunch after shopping in west quay. I had the katsu chicken curry where the chicken is fried in penko breadcrumbs very tasy with sticky rice and curry sauce was lovely. My friend had the same but vegetarian option. She had lovely big pieces of butternut squash aubergine and sweetpotato dipped and fried in penko breadcrumbs with the rice and curry sauce fabulous as she let me try hers!!! Will go back again. Normally a fan, I think they just had an off day. We had 1 Chicken and Chilli Prawn Pad Thai and 1 Prawn and Kimchee Ramen. The Pad Thai was as we expect, the Chilli Prawn and Kimchee Ramen was a mixed bag (or bowl). The Soup and Prawn was fantastic, the noodles were so bland that if this had been my first visit to Wagamama, it would surely be the last. Hope we have a little more flavour next time.

The Tantanmen Ramen is brilliant, bursting with flavour. It's spicy, but manageable. The chilli squid is a prerequisite as a starter, it's just too good! The staff always friendly, especially for a chain restaurant. Highly recommended.
