Love this place!!! Friendly staff that have the time for you, AND with a smile. Food is delicious, varied and excellent prices. Due to Covid it is only take away or delivery at the moment. This does NOT impact on the quality of the food. GREAT!!!

The place is nice, it clean comfortable, The owner is a very nice and friendly person, who can't do enough for you, Now what matters to most people is the food, Its very nice food, your curry is served in a balti dish, it comes to you bubbling hot. Now price, it is great value for money, it's cheaper than ordering in, And there is a lot of choice.

Really lovely takeaway food. Restaurant is currently closed for renovations.the manager was really friendly and helpful. The food tasted fantastic and the price was great. Far far cheaper than the local ones down south and bigger portions. Highly recommended.

Great secret place, tho I could see it not being everyone's cut of tea. Nice little preset menu which is basically Balti 3 different ways, chicken, lamb or mixed veg. With either N'bread or rice as well as a beer or house wine, icecream or coffee. 5.99! Great to either start the night or end the night. Not the most glamorous of places and I didn't visit the loos so I have no idea what they are like but the place was rammed so that must count for s'thing. The owner was really friendly and made everyone feel welcome. We went in a party of 3 generations and there was something for everyone. We will be going back soon.

I was pleasantly surprised. After reading reviews I thought I'd try it out. It doesn't look much but on arrival we were quickly shown to our table. Poppadoms were brought out to us without having to ask. A few minutes later the menu was given to us and we ordered our drinks. The food quickly arrived and it was lovely. Very tasty, a generous portion and naan was great too. Staff were really nice, laid back and made you feel comfortable which gave a good atmosphere. Toilets are available upstairs. Would definitely hope to return and would recommend

I have deleted my last review because maybe it was a little harsh. This place has been running for years. It is open to the early hours and is their manly to get some food after a night out. It is not somewhere you would take the Mrs for a romantic meal. The ceiling has damp stains over it and the wall paper is patchy but again it's not a place to would pay £100s for a meal. What you see is what you get. I did not personally order food there but when someone you are with orders a garlic cheese nan you have got to give it a try. The food tasted alright but that could be because of the Vodka.

Service is fantastic! Staff are lovely. Always pleasant and friendly and remember customers names. Food is lovely and also really cheap. £6-8 for the three course special with a side and drink. Decor is alittle shabby, but who cares when the foods that good? :)

Great food at unbelievable prices: when I went it was £7 inclusive starter, curry with rice, ice cream and a drink. Staff always friendly. Seating pretty old and not in the best condition, I suppose that's the saving they made in order to keep the food cost down.

Pappadums, onion bhaji, shish kebab with salad, glass of wine, big balti, big naan or rice, ice cream or coffee all for £5.95 is incredible value. I've always enjoyed every meal here. Other meals are also cooked to order, all great value and great eats.

The curry is the best in Stoke on trent. Pardon (i meant the world). Well worth the visit and i would give it 10 stars if i could. Easily the best, authentic tasting curry in the Potteries and beyond. Tried many places locally, and nothing beats the taste from Ali Baba's, as we keep going back - irresistible. Home delivery available....opens 6pm. Always busy when we call in. Inside is "cosy" so booking in advance, advisable.

Good food at great prices. Had to wait over an hour for it with no apologies from staff and even some bad attitude. Think they need to work on that. Could be 5 stars with not much effort .

I don't know how this place makes any money. Group of us were in and had probably too much to eat (we politely declined the dessert) and still walked away with change from £15. At these prices you'd expect the quality to suffer but if anything it's one of the nicest curries I've had in a long time. If you're up Hanley looking for a curry you can do a lot worse than Ali Babas

Ali Baba's is fantastic Yaz is a friendly man and I have been there twice and I went there the other week for my brother's eighteenth birthday and when I first went in there the first time I thought this is going be crap what a dump it looked like it hasn't been decorate for years and when you have the food you think it's fantastic.The food is fantastic and his curries are fantastic and I would recommend the place because the staff are friendly I recon Ali Baba's is the best curry house around in Stoke-On-Trent.I have tried the Saghir Express in Longton but now since I've tried Ali Baba's I think that's better than Saghir.
