A. X.Safe to say it's our favorite place now to have breakfast everytime we can! Lovely atmosphere and the food is just so tasty, well done and nicely presented!
C. G.Nice cafe, we had oatcakes with cheese and bacon, bacon could have been cooked a bit more was very fatty. The mug of tea however was one of the best we have had anywhere, hot and strong. Staff very efficient and friendly.
F. H.This is more like it. Unlike other Longton greasy spoons waiting for Pat Butcher to butter some bread, these guys and gals know what they are about. Top notch service and a well tasty price on your wallet and shillings in it. All classes of society welcome. Many languages spoken. All fantastic metropolitan stuff. Makes you proud to be British. R. W.Good honest value for money food served by pleasant staff. A very wheelchair accessible cafe. The disabled toilet is clean. I enjoy the all day breakfast or the cheeseburger meal deal. I never leave hungry!
J.Ordered a chicken roast dinner on Friday 12th Feb with special requests like no roasters and they obliged no problem.
The meal was beautiful and depending on your appetite it could serve 2 people

R. W.Best breakfast I've had in a cafe in a long time. The staff are always friendly. The food is served quickly and hot. It is always clean and tables are cleaned quickly. Great prices in these days of being ripped off for everything.

L. L.It was our first visit to this cafe and I was immediately a bit put off to be served by an assistant that really reeked heavily of cigarettes but she was very friendly and helpful. She took care to customise the menu to accommodate my food allergies.
The food arrived really quickly and was served on a platter that would have served 2 or 3 persons.
Not sure if it was the lateness if the day, or if it’s normally like this but we weren’t impressed with the quality of the food, as the potatoes in the bubble tasted old and beans were stewed to mush and very discoloured.
Although we can understand that there is a need for a cafe like this in Longton, we personally would have preferred smaller portions and fresher, better quality food. Probably will return to our usual cafe in future.

W.Very fast efficient service spacious seating area good for pushchair and access for wheelchair at the side entrance food is reasonably priced and quality of food is hot and freshly cooked there are plenty of cafes within longton and so much choice on offer however the friendly staff and spacious seating area made them our no 1 choice for quality 1 thing I did notice as well is the sauces okay they aren't Heinz but at least you can't see the plate through the sauce like other restaurants cheap sauce on a meal can ruin it. Overall well worth the money😀

A.Food here is cheap and cheerful. Great example of a "Greasy Spoon" The decor is cheerful and at first glance is clean. However the tables and chairs are worn and tatty which can put you off your food and wonder what the kitchen is like. Menu is easy and clear and indicates to place your order at the counter. I was served by a lady who was very down to earth and seemed cheerful. I didn't see a card machine so I asked and was told they don't accept card payment, however the lady was happy to tell me there was a cash machine next door. After placing the order, it took about 5 minutes for the food to arrive which is ridiculously quick (even for Wetherspoons) and certainly informed me its been microwaved. My food portion was huge and my oatcakes were filled with mushrooms and a thick slice of bacon. The cheese however was packed with grease and gloopy due to it being microwaved. Overall the price for the meal made up for the miserable chairs, tatty tables and greasy pinged oatcakes.
Would I return? No
Do I recommend? Yes for a cheap bite and friendly staff.
M. H.8 off us eat in here on Saturday first time ever as I said I would pay for breakfast but it ended up as lunch. Used all the cafe in longton but when walk in here it's not the run of the mill service brill well looked after and the food is the best you pay a bit more but well worth it . As 1 out of the 8 finished it.
