Just to say a massive thank you to the young lady on the booking in on Sunday 27th Feb 22, we hadn’t booked but she managed to accommodate eleven of us at short notice, they even replenished the breakfast items for us to make sure we’d all had enough, the food was excellent and the pub was packed full, we still don’t know how she did it but thank you very much for doing so, we were seeing family off has they were on there final day in the Potteries before flying home, see you Mothers Day, thank you.

This is a chain, so don't expect anything exotic. Good, honest food, served promptly by pleasant staff. Clean, well maintained premises. Not crowded when we had lunch. No draught bitter due to truck driver shortage, but bottled Doom Bar was acceptable substitute.

Quality of breakfast seems to have decreased a little, food although under heated lamps was quite cool when eating. Cutlery to select from buffet too small - equivalent to a dessert spoon for mushrooms, beans and scrambled eggs; just too small. Only 1 serving area in operation when we attended and it was the busiest we've seen the restaurant . Atmosphere was good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

This place had been recommended to us so decided to try it as a family of 6. Most of the meals were nice, one came missing some ingredients that we had to ask for, one was inedible and my son left 90% of it as the meat was tough and eggs were undercooked. My grandsons pizza came which he didn't eat as it was basically a piece of dough with cheese on. Very thick and undercooked. When it came to dessert, these were nice after choosing again as one wasn't available. To give the waitress her dues she was very polite and asked if we wanted the meals changing but they had been put off. I wouldn't visit again but the other meals were ok.

Nice place and a good hygiene. Staff are always extremely friendly. My only negative would be the current layout isn't overly intuitive and I found myself and a number of other visitors inadvertently followed the wrong routing. Staff did politely point me in the correct direction but I think their job could be made easier with better signage.

Apart from a little confusion over the table booking, the team pulled together and made it happen for our family to get together, service meals all came out together and hot. We had a Christmas meal out with friends, the staff were brilliant, our waitress Amelia was so funny, very friendly n couldn't do enough, the food was fab, the pudding could of been a little bigger (My wife says that's just me being greedy!). We use the brewers in Hanley a lot, we've always enjoyed our time there, even the managers are very friendly too! You don't get that everywhere.... All in all a great night!! Had 3 mixed grills and a curry as a family. The curry was lovely, good portions. The miclxed grills were good portions but the eggs were still slimey on the top where they wernt cooked enough (I understand some people like them like that maybe, but we don't) and the gammon tasted off and none of us ate it, didn't complain as the place was busy and couldn't be bothered complaining to be honest as we had a busy day... The puddings were nice, sundaes and smores.... £67 after BlueLightCard discount for 4 meals, 3 puddings and drinks is a good deal. Be even better if the gammon wasn't off and eggs cooked abit more.

The staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and well ran. The menus let the place down . Nothing to cater for people who cant eat food smothered or cooked in fat . A healthier range of grilled chicken or fish is needed. I'd love be able to stuff my face with the the chicken breast smothered in cheese and bacon .. but due to chronic illness I have to limit saturated fat or fat intake. Really struggled with this here. Had a children's meal that was as healthy as I could get.. A menu change is needed please..

I've occasionally used this place for a while but it's the first time I've been since the pandemic started. I felt very secure entering the building, regarding Covid measures - which I appreciate within the circumstances - and the staff were as friendly as always. From a vegetarian perspective, the food isn't anything special, but it's fine. It's standard pub food really, but I do enjoy the vegetable wellington on a Sunday. The place is always clean too - even the toilets - which is always a good sign. There's also ample seating space outside

Table for one please......no problem, was given a quiet table away from the crowds but close enough to the bar, great start. Orders are taken at the table, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the waiting time for food and drinks is minimal. After dinner, I found a sofa in another area of the bar and again, staff were very friendly and the surroundings very relaxing. The food choice was excellent and the prices good. Good selection of wines and ales, so no complaints here.

Average food. Lovely staff, they made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was decent, having sausage and yorkshire with mash. Came out piping hot and clean plates at the end of mean.ONLY fault was we had mini pudding and a hot drink. The pudding was great, but they made us get the hot chocolate. We couldn’t find it on the hot drink machine so they handed us a sachet and made us make our own hot chocolate. All from that, good experience.

Amazing food really great choice in the menu . First time to this area and a very long time since been to a brewers fayre. I am so difficult to please but they have certainly upped their game . Food was delicious every single course piping hot and great size portions. Staff were kind , helpful and extremely welcoming. 4 days eating so much food well done to the chefs and obviously good management to have such good staff . Clean and well kept . Will be sampling the food at my nearest one when I go back home .

Food was decent quality, especially for the price. Consistent standards, as would be expected from any Brewers Faye across the country. The wait to be seated was a bit slow, and it took nearly 5 minutes for me to get seated. The waitress was behind the bar serving some drinks when i entered, and made eye contact with me after a few mimutes, but never acknowledged me or told me she "would be with me in a minute" or something to that effect. Just something letting me know I'm not standing there like a melon for no reason. But apart from that, the unlimited drinks from the soft drink machine (with the option to flavour all your favourite brand name drinks with addition flavours like cherry, strawberry, vanilla and lime), and the American themed specials on the menu at the time were very enjoyable as a cheap pub-style meal.

Very pleased with the customer service. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and looked at the food menu. Deciding I didn't want a full meal the manager came over to take our order and I asked if they did sandwiches he said no but they could make me one. I had a chicken bacon salad sandwich which was beautiful very fresh. Would just like to say thankyou to the manager who went out of his way to accommodate me being fussy. Hense the 5 stars for the manager.

I've been coming here since opened. Unfortunately due to building another 300 rooms on the hotel. It no longer has there relaxed vibe as before, I would say book a table 1st. Due to being very busy. We had the burrito bowl which was yummy tho too many jalapenos for me, the haddock fishcakes which were lovely and the children's hotdog with the usual chips and beans that was demolished quickly so must have been tasty. The down side was getting to the toilets which are up stairs, tho I'm sure there is a lift I didn't look for one.

I was staying at the attached hotel for business, I was provided with a meal voucher which was very good value and allowed you to add to the offer. I stayed for 4 nights and in three of those nights I was made to feel very welcome and received great service, however on one night I was made to sit in a corner away from the "Proper" guests and was made to feel like a cheap skate for having the voucher. Hence the 3 stars not 5.

Stayed at the hotel next door for my 7 year olds birthday to Alton Towers. When we first got to the hotel, my wife and daughter popped in to get a drink whilst I took the cases to the room. They were served by Kieron and happened to mention it was my daughters birthday. In the conversation Kieron asked if we wanted a table booked and my wife said we already had one but thanks anyway. We came back for dinner after a few hours to find Kieron had laid balloons on the table as a surprise for my daughter. All the staff came out to sing happy birthday with the pudding and a candle at the end also. Could not fault any of the staff over our weekend but Kieron was the highlight, a credit to the team. Thanks guys, my daughter loved it. Food was the normal Brewers Fayre offerings but all very tasty and well cooked. If you stay at the hotel, go for the meal deal with breakfast. It’s definitely worth the money.

Friendly, all you can eat breakfast, staff around to help, all you can drink, Costa Coffee lattes etc no hot chocolate though. Tea all different decafe etc. Children eat free unsure what age restrictions. Food is good. Cereals, yogurt, fruits. Hot food, sausage, bacon, beans, full tomato, bubble and squeak, hash browns, black puddings, eggs fried or scrambled. Do your own toast. They have butter, Nutella spead, honey, marmalade, jam etc.
