Food was delicious and service was great!! My youngest lad had 5 puddings!! 😂 Will definitely be coming again! Thank you! **UPDATE Dragged back again today by the youngest as it's his new fave place for food. Once again service and food outstanding! He had 4 puddings this time and was in brownie heaven whereas I opted to be good and just have the cheesecake. 😊

Popped in for a late lunch, we selected dishes from the seniors menu ( two courses for under a fiver) I had steak pudding and my wife the all day breakfast followed by Apple crumble for me and syrup sponge for my wife. We both really enjoyed the mains and I enjoyed the crumble. Unfortunately the syrup sponge was overcooked and we had to send it back, but the replacement sponge was delicious. We both agreed that we really enjoyed the meal and that the staff were first class, as was the Abbot Ale. Will definitely return. They only lost a star because of the sponge pudding, but that being said the problem was sorted quickly and without fuss. Overall real value for money.

Had a christening doo here and it was amazing, food was beyond expectation, they decorated the blocked off bit exactly how we wanted it. Can’t thank you enough for a great day. The day after we had a meal booked for 15 people and all the food again was amazing, all hot and tasted great and would highly recommend. Thanks to Sam and the team. Love having our local pub back 😀

Excellent food and prices and the staff were lovely couldnt do enough for you. Very thoughtful and I saw a member of staff helping an older customer take her coat off and put it on the radiator for her so it would be warm when she was ready to go home. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back again

Amazing atmosphere! Sam and her team have made such a good job of bring the Sneyd arms back to life! A big shout out to Rach behind the bar who is so helpful and absolutely hilarious. Quiz night isn’t the same without rach. I’ve never had a bad plate of food and the drinks have always been spot on. Happy the pub got reopened and not knocked down. A staple in the community which has been done proud

Had a lovely visit to the Sneyd Arms today. Our food was very tasty and presented well. The team were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The place is lovely inside its great to see it doing well. Will definitely be back soon 👍

Decided to try the lunchtime service today x very warm welcome , good service, reasonable prices . Lots of choices on the menu but finally I chose scampi and chips and my friend had steak pudding and chips x food very nice and enjoyable x would definitely do lunch here again and possibly try an evening out too x Great to see this place thriving once more 👏

Very disappointing, not fresh roast pots and veg, all frozen and hard, not cooked well, meat, yorkshires and gravy lovely but overall not a great experience, waiting on staff very attentive and understanding when we gave feed back on the food, told kitchen staff were in training.

Food sizes are really small. I ordered scampi and I got 6 pieces and a tiny pot of tatare sauce. Was clean and tidy though. Plates were old fashioned. Good customer service though.

Dissapointed - Long wait for food even though it was not as busy as it could have been for the time of day - when food arrived one meal was wrong, got the katsu burger instead of the katsu curry didn't bother to change or alter as we already waited 45 minutes for food and didn't want to wait longer. Also no post mix drink (coke/diet coke/Fanta) available at time of visit. Will not be returning. :(

Brilliant food, I particularly love the 'all day breakfast', which us for some reason now named 'The Big Breakfast' Regardless- it was brilliant, all drinks are chilled and the even when the place is full, service is relatively quick. I've ate here often for years, but the recent transfer to the 'Sizzling Pubs' chain has seen it loose lots of options and become very focus on particular types of food, but if you like this kind of food, its the amazingly tasting.

Don't let the outside put you off if you are looking for great value and tasty food. We have eaten here twice already and will be back for more. Excellent fish and chips, really crispy batter and served piping hot and the steak pie is also delicious. Lovely staff who are keen to ensure that everything is satisfactory, which it was..

My mum enjoys going there. I have to drive from Birches Head to Check, so I wouldn't say it is close by although I have been here with my wife on a number of occasions. The food is good. The couple who run it are friendly. What more do you want.

Had my Dads 80th birthday here last weekend. Buffet was fantastic, lots of guests commented on how good it was so thanks to Jenny, Dave and the staff for a brilliant night, Dad loved every minute.
