Tasty food at good prices for decent sized portions. Extra bonus was the environmentally friendly packaging, all cardboard boxes and paper bags. Next time we are down here we will definitely eat here again.

A local famously good chippy. People drive several miles to get there. There is some parking outside but it is often taken. Nice fritters but expensive tubs.

Been having a chippy from here for over 5 years an they are still 5 ***** Quality and hygiene! Never had a problem with them and they are always friendly and have always been very clean! Hygiene inspector must have been having a bad day that's all I can say! Never go anywhere else as nowhere seems as good 👍

My favourite fish and chip shop, but can only go when driving in the area. Cod Roe and the chicken covering are favourites.

Excellent range of food - their home-made Liver & Onions and Braised steak are fabulous. They have recently introduced home-made fishcakes - I would prefer them to be flatter and lightly battered (Like Zan Fish in Derby). Shame they recently got a Zero 'Rate my Place' rating - I have always found the hygiene standards to be excellent. High quality and freshly cooked food - I have never been anything but delighted.

Parked rite outside the door. Wife was in there no more than a few minutes in the queue - we both had mini fish chips & peas which was presented in individual little boxes. Chips were freshly done but by the time we'd driven home they were good to go!!! And good they were.....New potatoes.....perfectly cooked & the fish was Devine......Well done Cos - you cracked it.

Been coming here for years! Particularly recommend the mini fish and chips! Their chips are gorgeous. Everything is fresh and considering how far away from the sea we are, the fish is delicious. Only reason I give 4 stars is because of the amount of polystyrene packaging still used when there are so many alternatives. Hippie? Maybe, but the world wants to ban straws. Surely we should be looking at changing as much as possible especially when there are readily available alternatives? X

Just moved to Cheadle and fancied some friday night fish, as you do. Thought we'd give our new local chippy a try and we thought it was great. Lovely mix of soft and crunchy chips. The cod was lovely and crispy with no skin of bones. Would recommend.

I visited this fish and chip shop in tean on the 13th Nov 2020 and i was really impressed to see that all the staff were wearing masks and also gloves. Its the first chip shop that ive seen doing this Well Done.

The chippy owner gave our under 11 football team a free lunch of sausage n chips...then gave the same to the parents... how many chippies do that ? Can't remember the last time I had better chips 6 stars if possible * * * * * *

Ordered on line, food ready for collection when I got there, however when I got home I noticed part of the order was missing. I phoned to let them know. I was given various options to rectify the problem. Food was nice so not to disappointed.

I have used this chippy, since I was a child. Nipping in for batter bits, Costas always looked after us. Never forgotten it. And the food today is still great tasting and also great value, for me the best chippy in or around, the tean and cheadle area. Would give 10 stars if I could.
