Fantastic place, it was well lighted and the ambience is refreshing and neat. Staffs are very cheerful and friendly Must try is the sesame seed chicken with Jack Daniel sauce. It tasted phenomenal. Costed me close to 12 pounds but worth the money. The washrooms were clean and neat. Free parking. Must visit diner.

Disappointed to be honest. We got there early but they sat us straight away which was great. We ordered drinks which took a while but this is standard at a TGI. Lovely drinks. A nice pint of Sam Adams for myself. The starter was a nachos sharing plate which wasn't bad. The mains came out and we're all only tepid at a push so we requested they be replaced. The sticky chicken came back out for my wife and daughter and was at a decent temperature so they tucked in. (A very tasty dish by the way). I had to wait a while for my replacement burger which was only marginally warmer and a little dry and bland to be honest. The fries were very tasty. Would I recommend? For the beer and sticky chicken, probably yes, for the rest of the experience, nope.

Nice atmosphere and lovely food. Only point is make is we had to wait a while each time we wanted a drink as there didn't seem to be many waiting staff. Also we were there for a big birthday which we notified them of but no balloons or anything extra special which they have done before, although staff did sing happy birthday.

Stopped here to break up a long car Journey from Leeds. We booked a table using the website which was quick and easy! We arrived 20 minutes early but that was no problem, the staff sat us down straight away. We were offered drinks straight away and then given a few minutes to look over the menu before we placed our order. Food arrived very quick and was great! I really enjoyed the burger and loaded fries that I had! During our meal someone brought over fresh drinks without us even having to ask. Shows the staff are very attentive! I also used the bathroom whilst I visited which was very clean and in good order! I always find TGI Fridays a little on the expensive side for what you get, there's many other business that offer similar food for lower prices. I've still given 5 stars as my review is based on the particular store and staff rather than the business as a whole!

Me and my partner went here after receiving gift cards for Christmas. My food was lovely but my partners burger was completely raw in the center. Quick response from manager and had a refund on the entire meal .

Very easy to find on the map, this TGI Fridays has ample parking space - free for up to 3 hours. Careful of the time limit there (camera) ! Place is clean spacious and well staffed (high number of waiters) and it is offering varied american style food. Interesting range of non-alcoholic cocktails too. We were quickly served and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the place.

My chicken burger was pretty soggy. I think they changed the menu. Loved the first time I visited. The second time, not so much. Staff were nice even though they did get mixed up on orders and tables. We didn't mind because mistakes happen and it was a very very busy day!

Had an amazing time at TGIF, food was delicious and the drinks were made amazingly. Service was always with a smile, well mannered, funny and friendly. Such a nice clean and unique restaurant. (For those who are going and wanting drinks and food for two people you're looking at £50 all together which is affordable and worth it)

Weird experience asked for standard mayo, was told only serve vegan mayo! This is so they can treat vegans equally!!?! I've nothing against vegans but what is wrong with serving both types of mayo? Come on TGI's it's not difficult 🤔

Went here last minute tonight with my family for tea 👪. I have severe intolerances and I felt very reassured by staff. This was my first meal out since diagnosis and it was great.The manager took my order and it was lovely. Thank you for your help and being understanding 🥰

Lovely place...fantastic food but staff very un attentive. Had to ask to order food after ages waiting while 3/4 staff just stood around at the bar talking. Had to ask for bill and no goodbye while leaving while again 3 staff stood talking. Little things make a visit that little more pleasant

The sesame chicken is really nice, but the potato skin starter wasn't great, lots of food unavailable when trying order, told its due to supplier shortages, would of been nice to be told before being seated so we could decide if we wanted to stay. Service was good.

Nice venue with great decor and plenty of seating. Service was good. Had 3 starters instead of a main.. Sesame chicken strips with Glaze sauce - which was very tasty. Beef chilli fries were fab - good large size bowl, although it is £4.49. Enough for 2/3 people share. Avocado houmous was bland and so were the tortilla chips.

Went here for a birthday celebration and it was really good. We booked online 1hour before we arrived, the reception was warm and welcoming. Had to scan the T&Trace on arrival which was fine. Lovely clean and inside and the spacing between diners was spot on. The service was quick and polite too. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely bloody gorgeous! The only reason this doesn't get 5* is because once our mains were finished it took 20 mins for our server to come back to our table, we asked another server and she told us to wait for ours as she couldn't help. We wanted more drinks and desserts, we chose not to have these and went onto another restaurant to finish the evening. Will defo go again because the food was great.

A great experience. Took my fiancé out for his birthday. He ordered the Tomahawk Steak (which fortunately they had in stock). The presentation was really good! My fiancé enjoyed his meal! I had the full rack of ribs which was great too! The only downside was that the refill soda had to be the same drink every time, as opposed to have Cola and then Fanta after, etc. - furthermore, great place for a special occasion! 👍🏼

Great to see a TGI Fridays come locally. Was very busy for a Tuesday evening I thought. Wait was an hour for a table. Place was very clean. However service was a let down. Not many knew what was happening. Couldn't identitify table numbers correctly so kept taking our order to someone else only for it to be refused by them. Been in other branches before where things have been much better. Still relatively new so will put this down as a one off and staff getting there bearings. Although downfalls like this you would think would be irradiated and trained out before business opening. I certainly want to go again. Will hope the downfalls this time are corrected in due course. If a repeat will not be impressed.

Went here twice, first time was turn down because lack of space and need advance booking as too crowded even on a Monday evening, possibly because of the new opening. Went it second time and this time booked in advance over the phone. We ordered a pasta, jack Daniel rack of rib and Tom hawk steak, at 6pm we just had the very last steak which I find a little scarce in supply. Ordered some free flow drink but limited to certain choice All food flavour is good, the steak is great flavouring and just nice for a medium a little more it will screw up the steak, it says 23 or 30oz in total (with the weight of the bone) but I don't think it really weight that much, I don't think it is justifiable for £35. Overall I give a four star despite some niggles because it just open so forgivable.

Plenty interesting and nice kinds of drinks to choice served on high standart I didnt seen kids menu. Of course its not kind of family restaurant but I think that should be an option. The only criticisms was that me and my partner paid £2 each extra to swap the fries for 'loaded cheese and maple bacon fries' all that we received was not even a tablespoon of cheese sauce and half a rasher of bacon, they didn't have mozzarella dippers on the menu either so our first choice of meal was out of the question and then lastly we ordered garlic bread each, only one came and they said they were nipping to get the other one and never returned, the food however was really nice

We had no complaints about the food and our waitress Rosie provided a great service- even better customer service than the manager (middle aged, dyed-red hair in a ponytail). The manager was rudely confrontational when we arrived, she was very cutting and abrasive when we told her not all members of our family had the NHS app. Those that did had used the app for track and trace. She insisted that we all must download the app and we weren’t allowed to enter the restaurant until she impatiently demanded for our contact information instead. Despite her authoritarian attitude towards public safety, we saw her remove her face mask multiple times whilst walking around the restaurant, which made us feel unsafe during a pandemic. We would have left a 5 star review if she wasn’t there.

Can not fault this restaurant at all! All staff wearing masks, place was so clean and very well managed with customers and distance. Convenient location with plenty of parking space. Restaurant itself is modern and well decorated. Found the service to vary depending on how busy. Great experience this afternoon. Seated very quickly with no problems.. did have a 1hr 15 mins table slot which we though would be slightly rushed.. Went for a family birthday party. Was a good night. TGI Friday's has a great atmosphere, our server was really nice, attentive and did a great job with a table of 12 along with the rest of the tables in her area. The music was good and the food was nice. (I ate the Friday's Burger) A few people at the table had the sesame chicken and said it was lovely. The music was loud so I wouldn't come here for a quiet date night or romantic meal though as quiet conversation was a little difficult.

we were rudely welcomed by a member of staff who pretty much told us as soon as we walked in that they needed the table back by 9 (table booked for 7.45). I questioned this with her but she was not at all helpful, adament that we would need to be gone by 9! However we were served by a lovely girl (blonde hair) who was friendly and helpful I asked her about the table time and she said she would see what she could do, she went away and within minutes came back and she said we could keep it for the 2 hours as she had juggled bookings/tables a bit. Thankyou! Food was lovely, cocktails were delicious, desserts were yummy and service was fabulous. If it wasn’t for the rude girl on the door who afterwards continued to give me daggers I would of rated this place a 5 star!

Erratic service marred great food and ambience Arrived for a birthday celebration and was promptly seated. Order for drinks and starters was quickly taken. However, Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive with starters 20 minutes after that. Main course arrived as soon as the starters were finished, There also no tomato Ketchup! Table next to us left because their main course was taking too long, The place was not particularly busy and whatever was going on seemed to also impact drinks. Not sure what the issue was but overall the night was disappointing.

My visit to TGI Friday’s last night was brilliant! My family had smiles on their face the whole time. Our server was very helpful, he gave great suggestions for our orders and was very good at keeping the kids entertained. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit this restaurant. First time to a TGI Fridays, and we were both very impressed. The staff were very attentive, Tegan our waitress was great, she was helpful and funny without being imposing. We both went for the same main, which was the triple stack burger.so much flavour! Portion sizes are very good, no skrimping on the chips! My husband had a couple of cocktails, he enjoyed them both...a lot!!! The place was busy but our food arrived quickly, and there was a good atmosphere. Will definitely return again.

Manager went to great lengths to accommodate allergy requirements (even cooking a chicken dish in oil rather than butter). It was also a nice touch that the servers came and sang (and presented a slice of cake) to one of our party whose birthday it was. Food was a bit expensive but not outrageous. A meal for 4 with drinks (no dessert or starters) came to just over £60. Would recommend.

Been here quite a few times now since it opened and I have yet to have a bad experience. I cannot thank the staff enough for their commitment and they made our Friday Christmas meal perfect. There were a few moaners in our group complaining about the cocktails but no-one could put a bad word in about the food and atmosphere. It is not easy catering for groups more than 20 people large and to keep everything running like a normal sized party is a testament to how hard the staff work.

I really like the neon, down town city vibes it's got going on. It's a nice and relaxed place where I can see myself hanging out with friends and loved ones more often, the staff were great. Not to offensive but the bald man who lead me and my friend to our table was so friendly and genuine, and Alex our waitress was so patient with weve though we took a while ordering our food. Either way I loved my time here and I'm definitely coming back.

Clean and welcoming. We were taken straight to a table and the children were given some activity bags and all were given menus. We had a good ten minutes to decide what to order for drinks but we also ordered our food at the same time. Whilst we waited I popped to the toilet but non of the ladies cubicles had any toilet paper in (so glad I always check first!) I let a member of staff no but whilst I waited I used the disabled cubicle as my 3 year old needed to go and as with all children that age when he has to go he has to go! I have to say that the door on this was ridiculously hard to move! I'm quite strong and i struggled sliding it so heaven knows how a disabled person would do it! Anyway even when we returned to the table the drinks still weren't there and perhaps took 20 minutes- they arrived just as the other lady was bringing us our food! So yes drinks were really slow to arrive and it wasn't busy. Either way the food was good, the staff were helpful and friendly and we all enjoyed our time here and would come back. The lack of toilet paper and slow drinks service is enough to knock a star off but certainly not enough to stop us coming back. I just think I should be honest in a review and little things like this can be frustrating (especially with impatient children Haha!)

We came for our daughters birthday and couldn’t be happier. As soon as we came in the gals at the door treated her like a princess with balloons and attention. We were seated in a comfortable booth and our waitress Mary A was amazin. The food was beautiful and it was fun to seee the whole staff having fun.

Not sure the food is value for money to start with, it's good, but I've had better for similar money, then the two salmon dishes were undercooked, the kitchen manager took them away to be cooked again, but then didn't have the ingredients to complete the meals as ordered, still the Salmon was cooked nicely the at the 2nd attempt, I just wouldn't have expected to still have to pay full for two incomplete meals I've had to wait longer for. I found the music to be too loud for a social gathering, would be perfect for a group of people going out before a night on the town. The staff there did their level best to provide a good service but the drinks took way too long to arrive and the meals came out too staggerred. Overall not bad, just could be better in my opinion, it's Jewell in its crown is the wonderful front of house staff, hope they are appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic service. Refills before we even asked for them! Rebekah was amazing and even gave us a balloon which the wife turned into a dog. The food was spot on too, and great value. Sadly we had to leave before pudding, but will definitely be back.

Like some of the chain resturaunts in Stoke-on-Trent / Hanley the prices are somewhat on the expensive side when considering the area. That being said, if you are minded to pay £14 - £16 for a burger then by all means go for it. I have eaten here on three occasions. One of those experiences the service was poor, considering I had booked a table, I was waiting around 15 - 25 minuets for a table, I had to remind a member of staff that my party was still waiting as we had been forgotten about. I would certainly recommend the sesameseed chicken, by far, in my opinion, the best dish on the menu and one of the cheaper mains.

Had a nice meal here. The Ribeye, cooked just right with Jack Daniel's glaze was the nicest steak I've had for a while. My wife enjoyed the Jambalaya too. Good selection of cocktails and the staff were pleasant. We shall go again.

Overpriced, not the best customer service. Food not as it should of been. Firstly we arrived 10 minutes early and were treated by a server who just seemed to be in s rush, however our table was ready and we were seated straight away. We ordered our drinks, which came swiftly. Down hill from here I'm afraid. We ordered out apperappet, and mains as was requested to do so, apps were fine and right potion size, however not as hot (heat wise not taste wise) but we're just edible. Now the part which annoyed us. After waiting 35+ minutes after we had eaten the appetizers the food was brought to our table, my youngest kids meal (tomato tube) was only luke warm, my middle daughter £20 burger was cold and I mean cold. My partners chicken BLT meal was cold. We made the staff aware immediately. First server tried to tell us that they would do the effected meals again and would be 10-15 minutes, erm no!!!!! We went out for a meal as a family and expect to eat at the same time, so it escalated to next person up chain, explain again to him, at which point someone more senior came over and only at that point was all our mains recooked. When food arrived, it was all hot and correct. However for the price, not great portion. But was very very tasty. Within the space of 10 minutes whilst eating the mains the same server asked us all 4 times if food was now ok. 4 times in 10 minutes, just GO AWAY we've already answered you. And if you get it right first time there's not going to be an issue. Would I go again? No Good value for money? No Great tasting food (eventually)? Yes Good customer service? Average, could be much better

We have visited TGI Fridays on a number of occasions. Each visit has been pleasant with no complaints made. Our most recent visit was part of a birthday celebration. The team were lovely and made a fuss of the birthday girl. She was thoroughly embarrassed which all guests enjoyed. I would recommend TGI Fridays for people looking for a more casual restaurant to eat at. If you have a choice I would advise people to reserve a table towards the rear of the restaurant as there is more room and flexibility for straying at these tables.

This was date night treat on a friday. Overall it was great! Loved the food, I had a full rack of ribs with bbq said. Ribs were gorgeous, soft and falling off the bone. The sauce was punchy and tasted really good. I swapped the fries for sweet potato fries and they were crunchy outside, fluffy inside. We finished with the brownies which were perfect, though a little bit more ice cream would have been great. I'm only knocking 1 star off because of the weird happy birthday clapping thing. It was plain bizarre and uncomfortable but I can totally see why it's popular for some guests.

Very new! Service was poor today we were there for 2 and a half hours and only had two courses. I ordered a milk shake for dessert but after half an hour it still hadn't come so cancelled it. Saw staff repeatedly take food/drinks to wrong tables. They didn't bring one of the starters and had to find a member of staff to ask them to chase it. We both had chicken wings for starters, but my mum doesn't like chilli heat at all, so she'd asked for no chilli flakes. So her wings came with no glaze (but 2 bowls of chilli flaked glaze came as a side) and her unglazed wings was topped with chilli flakes. While eating our starters the main meal arrived! The waitress said she didn't realise we were still eating and then stood there until we moved our starters away so she could serve our mains. I had the vegan burger because it's only on for a limited time and I wanted to try it. It's good 😊. I couldn't tell it wasn't meat. The warrior fries were awful. I've never had them before so I have nothing to compare them with. Are they supposed to be sour? My mum's cheeseburger was rubbish, she couldn't find the cheese for a start. She took most of it home to feed to her dogs. Dessert time (as we certainly weren't full): one triple chocolate fudge cake with icecream and 2 spoons. They delivered 2 cakes. We said we only ordered 1, so they apologised and said we may as well keep the other one as they'd only throw it away. So obviously when the bill came they charged us for both. Which we did point out and didn't pay for. Meal was £50 and not worth it.

Went to TGI this afternoon with my kids and absolutely loved it. Was seated immediately by Liam who welcomed us with a smile and a cheery attitude. Within a minute we were approached by a waitress named Rosie. She was very polite and took or drinks order no problem. Again, within minutes we had our drinks and order our meals. Rosie interacted with me and my kids like she was family which is extremely amazing to see from staff. After about 15 minutes our food was brought to us, we all had our dishes at the same time. The food was cooked beautifully and presented perfectly. They say the first bite is with the eye and if that's true, looking at the food was very filling. Rosie came to check on us to make sure the food was OK and if we needed any refills, I was very greatful for this as I'd of hated to leave the kids to go and fetch drinks. After we had eaten, Rosie came and took our dessert orders and took away the empty plates. Within minutes we recieved desserts which were absolutely enticing and very delicious. Best meal I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. The entire restaurant was very clean, the toilets were very clean, smelled good and looked very well looked after. The staff were very polite and helpful, they were presentable and very well mannered. As we were leaving my daughter noticed a lady called kim making balloon animals, my kids asked kim of they could have one and without hesitation and with a smile kim made a balloon water pistol, which was awesome, and a balloon poodle for my kids. I'm absolutely delighted with the experience I have recieved today. Will definitely be back again :)

Today (Sept 8th, 2017) myself, my fiancée and my Nan went for a meal at TGIs. Me and my fiancée had already been to this particular restaurant so we were aware that it was brilliant. It was evident that the restaurant was going to be busy and delayed in dispatching food. However it became more and more evident that this was not the case. When it reached around about the hour mark of waiting for our food to arrive, we alerted our waitress who went and checked what our order status was. She returned, apologising deeply that our order had vanished completely hence why we had not received our food. She retook our order and said the manager would be right out. Upon the manager arriving she apologised repeatedly and ensured that our food was now being cooked. She seemed genuinely sincere and asked if there was anything we needed in the meantime which we politely declined. A short while later she returned and further apologised whilst stating that our bill would be completely wiped including anything further we ordered. I am aware this was a one time situation, however the way the staff handled it and ensured we were looked after made us feel far better about it. Upon the food arriving it was exquisite, perfectly seasoned and amazingly cooked. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant as the way they care for customers was like nothing we have experienced before.

TGI Hanley Stoke was a really nice place. We have a Coeliac in our party a nd as always the MANGER comes to take the order as they take allergies and medical conditions seriously. Good size portions in general and with the kids portion size being average. Service was attentive and very musical as we had a birthday in our party so we had a free slice of cake and a TGI happy birthday song! Price was a bit expensive but offset by the quality and service we received.

Waitress decided that as soon as 1 person had finished she was taking the plates and not waiting for all the table to finish, when paying the bill she asked if I was paying cash or card I then had to ask her how much it all came too, then she only gave me my card receipt had ask someone for normal recipet. I had a voucher on my tgi app that was for either a free dessert, cocktail, or mocktail she would only tell me the deserts that were on offer even tho o asked her what the cocktails were. Maybe she was having a bad day I don't know I know we all get them but the waitress wasn't very polite or helpful which ruined it a bit. Would I go back tgis yer prob hopefully this was a one off.

I love TGIs in America, never had an issue in one....so I have tried this one in Hanley twice now. There is just no comparison in service, cooking and quality. Both times something was left off the order, (once taking us an hour to get our food) and both times we have had 'less than nice' hosts or servers. Short, trite and well, downright snidey would describe them best. No more TGI Stoke for us. I give TGI 3 stars instead of just 1 because I know this chain and this isn't usual. They'll eventually get the management in this store, that they so desparately need.
