Really quick service, all food was delicious and freshly prepared, staff are lovely especially Laura who made my son feel very special for his birthday and very friendly. Would highly recommend and be back again 😊

Very nice place, very quiet time of day we went in (4pm on a Monday) so no Social Distancing issues. Lovely food too - we had a steak & onion baguette, chips & salad & beautifully cooked & served. Staff very nice & attentive too. We'll certainly revisit!😊

Lovely Inn, warm and welcoming. Nice food and drinks at reasonable prices. Fantastic views overlooking the Cheshire plains. A lovely outside seating area. As advertised completely dog friendly. A carpark at the side. This is a gem for walkers and also for anyone looking for a cosey evening. Popular with the locals who are friendly and welcoming.

Such a lovely welcoming environment, following all guidelines and social distancing in place, table service, reasonably priced. All in all a lovely pub, looking forward to using this pub more often once again.

I called in at about 4.45 in a bit of a rush. They were able to do my meal really quickly. Steak baguette with onions and a big plate of delicious proper home cooked chips. Table service for drinks and food. Waiting on staff were great, hovering around in case anyone needed anything. Big TV with 70s music on. Pleasant atmosphere. Quite a few people in , a mix of regulars and people visiting the restaurant part. Staff all wore masks and customers were masks to the table and toilets. One way system in operation. Excellent visit. I have booked a table to visit with some friends next week. Happy to recommend this lovely pub

Lovely meal we had a Sunday dinner there was 8 of us for my auntie's birthday she was 91 year's young and still going strong, half of us had Beef and the other half had chicken the plates were full plenty of food there. Nice clean place, definitely going again. Make sure you book.

Friendly service & lovely pub, had the loaded chips with brisket, ordered thinking would be snack/side size, was a meal on its own, absolutely stuffed! Whole dish was delicious and would highly recommend - also real chips!!!

Called in here on a return journey from Peak District. I had a chilli jacket potato, very generous portion. Could only eat half the potato. Very fresh home made chilli and accompanied by a fresh crisp salad, priced at £6.95, very good value for money. Similarly my fellow diners ate a vegan cheese and baked beans jacket and the baguette with brie and red onion marmalade was vast with lots of chips and salad. Again all lovely but very large portions. Service very attentive. Would recommend.

My wife and I had an excellent roast dinner here yesterday. The service and food were both superb, in fact if anything at first appearance there was too much food, but once tasted, it soon disappeared! This is a pub that deserves to succeed, but needs to improve it’s on line presence. Will be back.

Good food but a limited choice. Can highly recommend the Sunday roast which is quite large in it's regular form. The large must be very large. Was a little quiet but having just changed ownership, think it's just getting back on track. Would definitely recommend and in summer the decking, kids play area and the views would be brilliant.
