🏠 Proper good local chippy. 🙂 Upon your arrival, you are greeted by a very nice gentleman, who I presume is the manager. The service is rather fast despite the fact it is almost always busy! 💸 Plus, the prices are extremely reasonable, espically nowadays. ❤️ It is in the middle of Meir, Weston Coyney and Meir Hay. You have no excuses not to try this amazing chippy!

I previously put a positive review on this chippy as the food is nice. I recently used the chippy and had a 2 piece and chips which was about £6 (late putting the review on so can't remember exactly) and got 1 scoop of chips 😱 after having my one piece of bread with chips on I was left with about 5 chips in my box. Chips tasted lovely but there just was nowhere near enough.

Second visit to the blue ocean, im afraid the second visit was probably my last, the chips were all stuck to the paper. After having several mouthfuls of paper I gave up, however the fish was lovely.

Have never had a bad meal here since it opened about year and half ago Always fresh clean and priced just right. Parking in front too so easy. Fish is skinless so perfect for me. I need try other items on menu. Try it will not disappoint.

Awesome food, even though was given the wrong food. Still it was nice and probably the best chippie around those parts. Don't do doner meat as wanted chicken meat, but didn't want to make a fuss. So down to earth people, pleasent service with a smile and reasonable food prices, as it is good quality.

The Blue Ocean offer seriously satisfying food cooked to perfection. As an experience, it helps that the staff are polite, chatty where necessary, and ensure their service is as efficient as possible, with quick cooking and preparation of all the food on the menu. At half decent prices, the Blue Ocean is somewhere I visit regularly and can certify to be a pleasurable visit every time. It must be noted there are no seating areas inside or outside but this is almost nullified by the Blue Ocean being advertised as a fast food takeaway.
