Went on a quiet night, which was just what I needed. Brilliant friendly staff all round. They take the time to look after you, by checking if everythings ok and making conversation. They really do, work hard up there, and its always clean :). Not to mention, the "Beautiful Atmosphere" Took this photo of there building, during my foggy evening out..

Excellent Sunday Roast! I don't normally take the risk with beef when eating out as it usually disappoints but so glad i chose it here. Generous portion, fell apart, no fat. Veggies cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back and have recommended to family to try next week.

Recommend by a friend and certainly lived up to expectations, food, staff, prices and ambiance perfect. One suggestion would be to have good fresh coffee on the menu as an option. I for one would gladly pay extra and it would enhance the breakfast experience.

I like the food. All fresh and tasty. The tables and seating are not comfortable. And the room is always cold. Other than what I mention it is a good venue. I have used 4 stars because of the above. Food wise 5 star

Such a beautiful place. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. The kids menu was excellent value and lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The food was delicious. We will definitely be going again!!

A "spur of the moment" decision to try Hales Hall, and it was well worth it!! Lovely atmosphere, great staff and really good food. Even though they were very busy with Xmas parties, it was a smashing experience.

Stopped on a whim on our way back from Alton Towers, never been more pleased with a meal and so glad we stopped. We bought a cajun burger, a stack burger and a chocolate brownie, most delish chips and high quality meat and fantastic flavours! We were so impressed and everyone was so friendly to us and our daughter. Brilliant service and little extras that made us feel really welcome! Will 1000% be returning and already looking to camp onsite next year! We didn't have time to take any photos because it looked so amazing we just demolished it!

First time here for us, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. We ordered 2 regular breakfast and 1 small breakfast and wow we were not disappointed, the quality of the food is really good and also cooked to perfection. You get tea, coffee or orange juice with your breakfast, the orange juice is bought to your table, the tea & coffee you serve yourself, it was instant coffee but you can make it to suit your taste as sometimes filter coffee isn’t to everyone’s liking so we were happy with this. You could purchase other coffees or drinks if you wanted to. Hales Hall is a lovely Grade II listed building and has had a lot of time and money spent on it, the gardens and campsite are immaculate. Alton Towers is a 10 minute drive away and opposite Hales Hall is Les Oakes Architectural Salvage Yard which is lovely to look around, you’ve also got the town of Cheadle which has the famous Pugins Gem Catholic Church and a variety of shops too. Would definitely recommend visiting here whether it’s just for food or camping as well.

Called in without a booking,no problem,sat down and really enjoyed a three course lunch for 15 pounds drinks extra,the food was better than some pricier restaurants we have been in,I highly recommend the Grosvenor.

Love this place! The restaurant is located in a lovely historic building with an amazing view overlooking cheadle. Staff are so welcoming, attentive and friendly. Food is all freshly cooked and very tasty. Cakes are delicious. Prices are unbeatable for the quality and setting. They have a good selection of beers on tap, including my favourite - Blue Moon. If they can install a proper Italian espresso machine for some proper coffee, I don't think I would ever leave!

We just stopped over harder for dinner. It was Christmas Eve. The cajun chicken burger was amazingly tasty. But the pasta was not so good. We had 3 portions of fries even though we asked the server do we get fries with the burger he said no. Then they charged us wrong (too much) overall it’s a nice place.
