Visited on August bank holiday weekend for a birthday meal. Service was excellent. Appropriate concern/common sense shown by waiting staff in relation to allergies with one member of the party. Food excellent, choice of drinks varied and found a lovely red to go with my steak. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing! Have been here a number of times before and will return again soon.

Busy Saturday night and the place was buzzing. Excellent hostess who looked after us and our server, Josh, was very attentive. Menu looked good. Partner had the chicken skewer and I had the tempura battered sea bass. I probably should have just read it as fish and chips, so was abit let down by that. The food was nice but nothing fantastic and certainly not worth the price tag. The burgers did look amazing though, so would probably try one of those if I ever go back again. Drinks, over-priced, but is that due to the current climate. Overall, would go back but be more selective over choice of food.

We had booked in advance and could only have the table for an hour and a half. It was very busy but food was fairly quick and service was good. There's a fairly extensive menu for food and drinks. The food was good and prices as expected. The car park was very busy and we had issues getting on and off due to people parking in stupid places.

food was so LUSH! definitely would recommend the sweet potato fritters with katsu sauce 😍 it was a bit sweet but still really tasty. also got the tempura battered sea bass fillets which were gourgeous and topped it off with the mango and passion fruit cheesecake! all the food we got was delicious and they have a great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails :) only reason i would take half a star off was we were sat there for about 45 mins until our food came but was definitely worth the wait. great atmosphere and super friendly waiters, 100% going here again ❤️

This is a lovely restaurant with beautiful decor and a warm soft ambiance... We had pre booked, recommended especially during this current pandemic. In any event we had a 5.30 booking on a Friday and it was quite full.. We were seated quickly, with clean tables and the staff quickly presented menus. Our waiter was lovely with a great sense of humour and gave some recommendations. I had 3 non alcoholic mojitos, elderflower and 2 kiwi & strawberry. The kiwi and strawberry was by far my favourite but I have a sweet tooth. To start I had the fish tempura mix with sea bass, prawns and squid.. it was nice.. a tiny bit oily but still enjoyable. We also had the crispy beef stripe and fried camembert... the camembert was fantastic with an interesting onion dip as opposed to a jam. My main was the pork belly, unfortunately it wasn't the greatest, it came with an interesting bacon and cider mash, I wasn't particularly enamoured with it... we also had the salmon skewers which were very tasty, salmon was cooked beautifully .. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert, but they had some interesting options on the menu. Overall was a lovely birthday meal and I think next time I would definitely go for the dirty burger next time as it comes recommended... Would definitely come here again if I am ever in Stoke. Nice for families, couples, birthdays, all occasions.

Great place, went for our anniversary meal at this restaurant while we were away, got a lively anniversary card on arrival and a table in corner, the food was amazing and well priced, drinks were a bit more expensive but totally acceptable, serving staff were very friendly and attentive but didn't bother too much perfect place for a nice well priced meal. Will definitely be comming back if we ever back in the area.

Never been here before came on lots of recommendations and wasn't disappointed, we booked our meal online which was easy to do, arrived half hour early so we could have a drink we we shown to our table pretty soon after. The food was amazing and piping hot, I'll post some pictures below. The staff were great and very attentive. The decor is really classy and smart, the only thing which I didn't like was the noise, the music was so loud you had to shout to who you were with to be heard and with everybody else doing the same it sounded like a cattle market it certainly wasn't a relaxing and enjoyable eating experience, I don't know if this is every night or just on a Saturday as I say havnt been before. So for me the loud music spoilt a lovely evening, but could not fault the service or the food it was first class.

Lovely evening at the orange tree, all staff wearing masks and lots of hand sanitising going on. Tables were quite nicely separated and staff were attentive without bothering us too much. The steak we both had was quite fatty and the garlic butter sauce disappointing, but it was swapped quickly when I asked to change for a different sauce. Cocktails were fab as usual and we had a beautiful cookie dough pudding (although it was baked like an actual cookie & hot so not exactly what we were expecting). Looking forward to the next visit

The menu is lovely, making it difficult to choose what to eat. The ambience is really pleasant and the decor tasteful. The service was really top notch and attentive and I'll definitely be going back at some point. I had the pork belly which was a little disappointingly dry and overcooked, like it had sat under a headlamp too long waiting to come to our table. It was tasty but the wrong consistency for belly pork in my mind. My partner had lamb rump which was very tasty and succulent.

First visit here, We walk threw the door to be greeted with big smiles shown to our table, we asked if we could move sections as we where by the window (friend feels the cold) they moved us instantly with out problem, drinks order was took, followed by meals, we had 3 starters, duck and pan cakes , crispy beef and popcorn chicken and shared them they where lovely , mains where 8oz rump, (cooked to how was asked ), chicken supreme and pork belly, plus 2 sides, all where fantastic we where table checked shortly after and then again abit later asking if we would like anymore drinks or if we needed anything else, We took birthday cake in with us and the staff brought it over and sang happy birthday, fetching plates n forks after, Over all a great meal out! Well done to team Orange tree! We will be back soon!

Excellent brunch. The eggs benedict was cooked perfectly and the eggs popped and ran when they were touched. The hash was again so tasty, we added tomato salsa to the order which gives a bit more flavour and means it isn't quite as dry.. The service was perfect as always and there was a buzz in the restaurant area even at 10am on bank holiday Saturday. The seasonal cocktails looked like they'd be really good also, may have to go back and try them at a more acceptable time

Phoebe was a great host polite helpful and friendly. We had a choice from all the menus at Sunday lunch the orders were taken correctly and quickly. She was happy to check a few things with the chef for us. The food was served in good time but we weren't rushed through the meal. Checks each course to make sure we were happy. There is an excellent vegan/vegetarian choice here too. There is an extensive cocktail/wine list. The place is spotless clean Inc the bathrooms. Card payment only at the moment. It all felt very safe not too crowded although it was busy. Thank you for a lovely meal out.

Fantastic meal out for a pre-wedding dinner. Food and service was excellent, particularly from Jonny who was very welcoming from the moment we arrived and made sure we were looked after throughout. Came for lunch at the Orange Tree Bar and Grill with a friend, good was lovely, quite pricey for what you get. I would recommend trying this place out, staff were great so thank you. Mushroom Risotto needs to be improved. Starters were great Hit the like button for more reviews.

Starter and main course had decent service then we waited for 15 minutes after finishing before plates were taken away, not ideal! No time for dessert unfortunately! Nice ambience and lovely decor as well. Would go back. Before 5pm it was 2 courses for £12.95 with a pint of Moretti being £5. Not cheap drink!

Becoming the embarrassing cousin of the Parogon group, standard seemed a little off and a few mix ups with food and drinks tasted weak. As a group of 4, they presented 3 dishes for mains and left us for 5 minutes, the waiter then asked us what we were waiting for and we pointed out a meal was missing and they then had to confirm what we had ordered?? The food then took 10 minutes longer by which point our food was cold. Food was passable but not up to standards of old.

The management and staff have clearly worked very hard to make the space as safe and clean as they possibly can during these difficult times with the virus. Spotless facilities, disposable menus and facemasks for all staff just add to that sense that they have really thought about the safety of their customers and an excellent menu makes The Orange Tree a wonderful choice for a quality meal out whichever night of the week you choose.

It has certainly changed since last time we went here for a meal. The place looks very nicely done up. The main course was very nice and extremely tasty. The starter was ok and the pudding was nice if I had a portion I could tell you about. It changed to one of these restaurants that give you a massive plate with a little bit of food in the middle. I think it is well over priced for what you get. To matters worse you cant even use the currency in notes of our country to pay your bill. They insist on card payments only, what's happening to our country. I understand about the pandemic but we had to pay on card that we had to hand to the staff and then use a card machine that everyone else was using there is more cross contamination this way I'm sure. So over all very nice over priced food but good service.

Me and my girlfriend came here to celebrate her birthday. We booked for 19:30 and we got there at 19:00 to have a drink whilst we wait but we got sat straight away which was excellent. Order a daiquiri and a mojito which where spot! This mojito was the best mojito I have had. Both of us order steak which was cooked to perfection for both of us. So much so I was thinking of ordering another. Now whilst waiting for dessert we ordered a dark cherry mojito and a watermelon mojito. Dark cherry was nice and sweet but the watermelon mojito was really refreshing. The desserts came and they where to die for. This has got to be one of the best meals I have had in a long time. So happy that we went there and look forward to going back soon .

We were by the entrance and every time someone came in we were treated to a cold icy blast of air. Surely something could be put there to protect customers. We asked the management if they could do something but all we got was a polite no. Surely an establishment such as this, who serve excellent food and provide a table service to be commended could have thought beforehand about the placing of this table. Upon arrival, the restaurant looked amazing, the atmosphere was great and the waitresses were friendly and told us what was not available on the menu. They also catered for a family member who is vegan, both mains and desserts. The food was fantastic, good quality and fresh, at a reasonable price too. The entire evening was enjoyable and we will definitely be visiting again. 10/10 would recommend

Called in at short notice 7:30pm Sunday evening. The place is very stylish and we were given a great table in the corner by the window. Absolutely amazing experience. After we booked a table, we were greeted at the door and the chap knew exactly who we were and showed us to our table. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very polite and attentive! We tried the filet steak, tempura sea bass, lamb cutlet and chicken caesar and every single dish was perfect. Then onto deserts, the millionaires cheesecake and lemon tart were spot on and it was a lovely way to finish the evening. If you're looking for somewhere with a nice atmosphere and exceptional food (at a very reasonable price) then this is definitely the place for you.

Trendy place to be "seen". Went for a family meal. Bit noisy, but it is a youngsters place, and we went on a Saturday night. Music was a bit too loud for conversation amongst our large group. Had a steak which was perfect. I had an issue with the lack of garlic on the garlic bread, which was dealt with satisfactorily by the attentive staff. Service was not rushed, nor were we forgotten about and prices reflect the establishment and quality. Overall, a lovely evening, and if I went again it would be mid week.

The food here is top quality. The food menu has something to suit everyone, with a drinks menu that is above what competitors will offer. The staff are always on hand to help and you can see that if a mistake has been made (if ever) that they try to rectify it as soon as possible. Although the general experience of the many times that I have come here is excellent, there has been one issue that has cropped up. This is the wait for the food which can take up to 40-50 minutes from when it is ordered to when it arrives on the table. This is not acceptable, however when it was pointed out I did receive a rather large discount from the bill as a gesture of good will. All in all the place is very pleasant and comfortable to be in. The food is excellent when it arrives and the staff make you feel welcome. I would however always book in advance because it can get very busy.

Great food, excellent customer service and a first class restaurant. The only slight issue is due to its popularity you have to book if you want to go in an evening, so you can't go if you are feeling spontaneous. The lunch menu is great but you can even choose from the evening if you wish. I would also recommend getting a taxi or going slightly earlier, as you may have to wait for a car park space or be prepare to find somewhere to park and walk. However I would highly recommend and we do go often.

Called into The Orange Tree on a mid-week lunchtime without a reservation having heard they had recently reopened. The car park was quite full but we got a table for two right away. The interior design was very contemporary and stylish. The service was warm, friendly and efficient with prompt responses but we never felt hurried. The meal was sublime. Ordered a selection of 3 starters shared for two- the kebabs and dip was the best of all three but each delicious. We had an 8oz steak and a burger for mains. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. As it was lunch we didn't sample desserts but checked out the menu. Wasn't sure there was quite as much there to match the main menu but will have to revisit to try them. Highly recommended.

Nice wine list and always very good service. A fair amount of parking out front and behind the building. Good size portions and I have never felt rushed to move on despite the fact it is often very busy. Bookings recommended especially on weekends.

This place let us down quite drastically. Me and my partner visit the different Paragon pubs quite often, Swan/Wayfarer/Blockhouse and always get great service/food the lot. We had a table booked for 20:30, they said the table wasnt quite ready and they'd grab us at the bar in a few minutes. We got drinks and waited, in the mean time a couple came in and got sat down immediately, then another couple came in and got seated immediately, we walk back over to ask and get told to wait a bit longer, we sat down around 9pm. We order food within a couple of minutes and then the waits start. We waited 25 minutes to order around set of drinks, and around 35 minutes for our starter to arrive (despite the waitress saying around 12 mins for starters and 30 for food). This time I order 2 drinks at the same time as the frequency the waitress turns up is roughly once every 30 mins. The starter arrives cold, unsurprising as they also dished out 4 other tables food at the same time, and no one checks to see how our starter is going. The starter plates are cleared around 25 minutes later just before the mains arrive. They too are like warm at best. Its safe to say we disnt stick around for desert, although it too probably wouldve arrives cold. I understand it's a busy saturday night, but they should they should account for this with the humber of staff, the bar staff were brilliant and served us promptly and were knowledgeable and willing to offer advice on drinks. The food was average, obviously the fact it was cold did it no favours. Did mention to the waitress the service/food was poor, got a quick apology but not really good enough for a premium restaurant and nothing I was expecting after visiting the other paragon pubs.

Splendid is a word that comes to mind. Awesomeness begins immediately upon moving into eyesight of the pleasant, clean and well kept vicinity of the building. From the front entrance music is played outside - complimenting what is already a joyous, welcoming aura. Decor is honestly superb. A modern, cleanly finished and in some instances almost steam-punky design code is used here to great effect, with my personal favorite being a half-real, half-fake blossom tree which is frankly beautiful. Staff appear to be happy whilst simultaneously working hard to ensure your experience is great. They really do seem to take pride in their work and it pays dividends. Knowledgeable also, when enquired about veggie/vegan options. The burgers we ordered were all cooked and seasoned well - the baked potato I'd ordered on the side was probably the best I'd ever had. Only downside on this front is the coffee is incredibly generic machine product which I'm not a huge fan of. Pricing seems steep at first but after we experienced the quality of the food we were staggered it wasn't more expensive. Solid restaurant and a must-visit. Five out of five.

Expected more to be honest. Went for breakfast this morning, 1 veggie and 1 meat eater. The decor is lovely(apart from plastic flowers) and the staff very friendly and accomodating, the ingredients were good quality, but the menu was quite limited. A few items I would expect at a higher end place offering breakfast were not there: No fruit, no pastries, no pankcakes, no kippers, no yoghurt, porridge. It would also have been nice to see a few 'table' options and smaller plates so that if you were dining in a group you could mix and match. There were also more meaty than veggie options, which was a shame. However, I will be returning to try the other menus as the surroundings and staff were so lovely!

Visited 16th April for lunch at 2.00pm with my wife. I had the Belly Pork starter which was quite the best starter I’ve had in 10years. Followed by the Salmon Kebab which was exquisite. My wife had Mussels in a Thai Broth, equally exquisite and the Piri Piri Chicken Kebab. It was an exceptional experience.
