Booked a table in the morning for the same day and it was accepted with no issues. Dinned for an evening meal which was great, food and service came at a steady pace between courses and there was no pressure to rush you out the door to free up the table. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was decent. Mango cheesecake/ice cream was a fantastic dessert too!

We had our departmental dinner at Veneziaa for our lovely consultant in honour of his retirement. Lovely place with calm lighting and cool atmosphere. Food was delicious and even vegetarian and vegan options were available. One of places in Burton to be visited again.

That was an experience... I waited 27 years to eat that meal and never even knew it, my tongues in a state of shock as it was clearly never prepared for the level of perfection it was subjected to tonight, I'm offended by how good that was, always thought it a bit odd when people marry inanimate objects but now all I'm saying is... Excellent dining experience. The service was very good. The food and desert really nice. Being a table of 6 we had many of the options from the menu and everybody was very happy with their meal. The desert was also a treat. The raspberry pavlova and lemon sorbet heavenly choices . All the areas of the restaurant are very clean and well presented. I feel this restaurant doesn't get the credit it deserves. We are surely going to visit again.

Visited this restaurant for my daughters 30th birthday 🎂 You immediately notice the fabulous decor and staff were ready to greet you and take you to your table. The drinks menu has a good selection and during the evening we had cocktails, wine and beers. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. Food was very good too and there was a very good choice for the two vegetarians. At the end of the evening the restaurant brought a dessert complete with candle for the birthday girl. A nice touch and very much appreciated. Overall an excellent restaurant experience and we will certainly be back 😀

First time I’ve been in, and it was very nice. I was in a group of four, the service was great, really quick and lovely people. You’ll notice so many staff, which is a good thing, no waiting for anything. The food was tasty and the beer is good. I look forward to returning.

Our first time eating here but it won't be our last. A lovely venue with welcoming friendly staff. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and or take was decorated with hearts, the staff wished us a happy anniversary l anniversary. The food was amazing and piping hot. Absolutely top class service and food. Cannot believe we havn’t been before. They made our family meal, celebrating our fathers 70th so special, and what a lovely touch gifting our Dad with a bottle of wine at end the evening, thankyou!!. The food was served hot (which is rare) and full of flavour, hats off to the chefs and equally the fantastic service. Can’t rate this restaurant highly enough …not mention the cocktails .. just wow!! I tried Veneziaa for the first time after having quite an unpleasant day. My dining experience definitely cheered me up! The food was absolutely delicious. Fresh. Hot. Full of flavour (especially the risotto). The staff were so friendly and the service was faultless! The waitress even fixed my table from wobbling on her own accord. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous food and service. The only thing that stops me from giving a 5* review was that we visited on Fri 15th July and there was a singer who was good and nice to listen to, but with the microphone the sound was too loud for the room. I was hoping for a good chat and catch up with my friends, but that wasn't easy. Otherwise it was a fantastic evening and as this was first visit I will probably be back, especially as my family have requirements for gluten free and this was clearly marked on the menu.

Second time eating Veneziaan food. Both times it has been very good, and plentiful. Tonight, I popped in to pickup two take-away meals. I was there for 5 minutes, the order was ready at 18:30 as requested. In that short time I interacted with 4 staff members, all 4 were lovely, smiling, friendly, and helpful. The food is ok but definitely not worth the price tag. When I told the chefs that the starter was microwaved the denied it and said it was fresh. Being a chef my self, I can tell from texture, taste and temperature that it was microwaved and even the dry splatter on the ceramic dish from the microwaved sauce was evident and they became really funny with us and still said it's fresh. The pizza wasn't great, quite hard and not much flavour to it. Definitely not worth the price tag. I have eaten at some of the best eateries in the world and this fall's well below par and standards. I wouldn't return and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again.

Absolutely beautiful food! Was on our way home and simply googled restaurants on the journey and picked this one out. It was just before everything was shut down so it was a surreal dining experience but still very enjoyable and good value. The pasta was absolutely gorgeous and the brushetta 😘 Couldn't resist the sorbet for dessert which came with a shot of Limoncello 👍🏼

Was very impressive, food was excellent. We were a party of 10 and the service was great, meals all delivered in time with each other. Whilst I agree with the other reviews the beers/ciders are over priced for what beers they are, no specialists. The food and cocktails were reasonable priced and cocktails were well made and had a good selection.

What a lucky find , we were up this way for the weekend, arrived and seated by a lovely front of house lady, impressive decor with a warm atmosphere, our waitress took our drinks order and returned for our food order , have to say one of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time our two girls aren’t easy to please and left nothing of any of their three courses , my wife and I were very impressed with ours , we also got chatting to the owner at the end of the evening such a lovely lady and pretty amazing what her and her husband has achieved at the new premises given the current challenges this industry finds itself in at the moment , the birthday desert at the end was a lovely touch and much appreciated, if we’re ever close enough we will definitely make the effort to return. Great food and lovely people, our first time in the new premises and as good as always. 10 out of 10. One warning - do not book via Google maps link, 'reserve a table' it goes through a third party 'Quandoo' and is nothing to do with the restaurant. The email booking confirmation means nothing, just that they've sent Veneziaa a text that you want to book that time. We were caught out and, according to the people at the restaurant, they get quite a few turning up thinking they've booked when no text has arrived. Fortunately the lovely people there sorted us out.

Wonderful last minute reservation made as we were staying the wknd and wanted to find a place with good service & excellent food outside of our hotel - Veneziaa did not disappoint! Would highly recommend. Atmosphere was relaxed and casual, staff were attentive and friendly, food came out quickly and tasted delicious (u could tell it was all freshly made). My husband had a pizza which’s he said was just perfect - he likes them thin crust and “meaty” I had the calamari starter and sautéed vegetables (again prepared from fresh and tasted devine) I’d have no hesitation in recommending Veneziaa & if we’re ever back in the area again will def return.

Take away experience was very good, there is nice seated wait area just be entrance. I ordered tagliatelle carbonara, but it's not a carbonara itself when there is a cream as a sauce. It's not an issue as long as ingredients are known before, but I would highly recommend to make carbonara it's originally way.

Pleasantly surprised by our last visit here. We went here on previous occasions and were underwhelmed with the flavours of the dishes. However on our last visit, the dishes had good flavour and clearly made with attention to detail and with some passion. Our party had a number of different pasta dishes and they all looked and tasted unique rather than using the same pasta and base sauce. Would recommend.

We came to Venezia and ordered two pizzas. The restaurant is nice inside, it has Italian vibes with music and photos. It is clean inside. The staff is very kind and is fast service. Even without reservation you can get a table. Coming to the food... pizza was fine but not wow. With this price it should be definitely better quality, especially dough. The restaurant smells nice of food, but the quality should develop.

Being a big fan of Italian food coupled with Veneziaa having moved to new premises I thought now would be a good time to make our first visit to the restaurant. And I tell you what it certainly wont be our last visit. A superb refit with plenty of room around the tables for customers and waiting staff giving a great atmosphere. The menu is nicely balanced backed up by all the choices being freshly made in good time, well presented and cooked with a real sense of passion and pride. Service to the tables was very attentive and what impressed me the most that even asking for certain ingredients to be removed from a dish was no trouble at all. So if you have a special occasion coming up I can strongly recommend Venezzia.

Unfortunately this restaurant can only be described as average, at best. Not really the "authentic" experience we were hoping for. Pizza bases are very thin and dry and this creates a hard, crispy base for garlic bread and pizza. Risotto was initially served undercooked and had to be replaced. Prices are a little above average in my view but portions are not over-generous. The owner was apologetic about the mistakes made and kindly offered us goodwill gestures to compensate.

Very Anglocised 'Italian' pasta dishes drowned in 'out of a jar' tasting sauce for the Dolmio generation. Meatballs were very over salted, my husband couldn't finish them. More a restaurant for drinks and pizza with the lads or lasses on a night out not for a romantic meal for 2. You live and learn. The staff were very nice and service was good. The decor and ambience was pleasant and the social distancing measures were very good.

A truly excellent, traditional Italian restaurant in Burton on Trent city centre. It was my first time here and I was accompaningfriends celebrating a birthday. Very plesant interior, charming staff and very friendly owner made this a memorable evening. The food was fabulous and all cooked from fresh Ingredients. An extensive menu and good wine selection; I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and it was the version I have every had. Pricing was moderate to quite expensive but well worth it.
