Authentic Indonesian cooking at its very best. Everything we had was delicious, really recommend the rendang. It's all quite spicy, but it's the way I like it. Will be definitely returning.

We had the pleasure of dinner here on Saturday. Excellent service from Gareth and Peter and wonderful food from Ani. All of our party thoroughly enjoyed: everything was delicious. Garuda is consistently brilliant.

Went here for an evening meal whilst staying in the area. Really nice, varied menu with very tasty food. Ordered a large place of noodles for the kids to share (they are a bit more selective at that age) and the portion size was very big, …

The beef semur is the best tasting dish of its kind I've ever had in my life! (And it's not even close)
Superb all round, lovely people, amazing food. If you like spice, this is the place for you!

I loved it!
The food is always fresh and cooked to high standards.
Ani, the chef (and owner) has brought together a small but precious team together with her elegantly husband.
Warm and cozy atmosphere along with traditional Indonesian sounds.
If you can't pop in, they also do takeaways with collection only.
I loved every moment since 2017 and will continue to do so
Thank you for being passionate, generous and warmhearted towards your customers.

Different and absolutely amazing food. Excellent hospitality and bring your own beer/wine with free corkage and staff always ask if we want our drinks chilled. Every dish is something uniquely special and sides such as the special noodles are all to die for. Even the generous amount of vegetarian dishes are so good you don’t miss the meat at all, in fact they are equally as good. Swansea is so lucky to have you!

The food here is excellent, don't let the building put you off, give it a try. Everything we ate was fresh and tasty and we will definitely eat here again. The guys that run the place were very knowledgeable and really enthusiastic about their produce.

We had a lovely meal cooked by Annie who took the time to come to talk to us after the meal. She is from Medan in Sumatra and runs the restaurant with her husband Peter. Nice shanty vibe here and good food too. You can also bring your own wine for no charge which is a nice touch.

What a little gem! From the service to the food, everything was first class, which is very hard to find nowadays, and being that I'm hospitality trained, I am fussy! We had soup to start, with beef rendang, noodles and monkfish for main which we shared. The food is spicy and beautifully prepared. Just beware, if you order the beef rendang though, it is super spicy, but you will be asked if you would like to tone it down if you like. Another plus is it's a BYO booze, so no extortionate drinks prices, what's more to like?
