Me and my partner frequented this establishment on the promanade for our anniversary. We were warmly received and the table service was impeccable. The food arrived punctually and was amongst the best we have had while living in South Wales. We most certainly will be booking again and hoping that we will continue to be surprised and indulged by this charming place.

Lovely restaurant with lovely custormer service. It was my first time in a nice restaurant (I didn't know what most of the things in the menu were if I'm honest 😅). Nonetheless the waiters were helpful when I asked about the dishes and reccomendations, I have to add the language skills the gentleman had, pleased to speak in Spanish with someone! Dishes were served on a Sunday: Starter- Calamari Main- Beef Dessert- Chocolate lava cake with vainilla ice cream Would definitely come back, I reccomend!

A lovely place to sit next to the river. I ordered a pot of tea, cappuccino and two tea cakes; all were perfectly adequate. There was however sadly a lack of cake options (it was tea cakes or nothing), so if you're looking for just a nice place for coffee you may find River House to be a little limited. The lady that served us was really polite and gave good customer service. Thanks!

Never been here before, booked quite late, and considering it was Mothers Day was pleased to get a table. When we arrived we saw it was a fixed price menu (3x courses) for £28.95 so tbh we were not expecting too much. However the food was very good indeed we all had the roast and everything was cooked perfectly. The beef was tender and perfectly pink and the gravy was scrumptious. The sticky toffee pudding was yummy.

Great restaurant and great service except there was no vegan option. We were were with family 2 were vegan ands 2 eat meat and dairy. The vegans ate a dry and tasteless meal because we requested without the cheese and mayonnaise etc. Both meat eaters enjoyed their meal but we won’t come back because there’s no vegan option!! Put a delicious vegan option on the menu. Get on it ASAP and we’ll be there together. The staff were great though!!

We visited for just drinks and although they were a little expensive, I'd say it was worth it for the setting. We had a table right next to the river which was nice, and probably the best part about the experience. Unfortunately they don't have an app, so you have to go to the bar everytime you want to order, which is slightly inconvenient. Overall I'd recommend it if you're looking for a quiet drink.
